Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ From My Shackles ❯ Screw Your Brother ( Chapter 2 )
Chapter Two: Screw your brother
"It was a simple procedure really," J murmured to his fellow doctors. They sat in an entirely metal room, with metal chairs at a metal table. "I programmed Wing Zero and Deathscythe to stay together until one of their owners came along. Once that program was completed it set of a chain reaction on another program. Whichever pilot was in the cockpit would see the location or feel the pull of the other pilot because of the honing device in the Gundam. After the Gundams and their two pilots had been reunited it forced the system to overtake the pilot so the suits would connect and link up to the valve holding the injection and a pipe would run up through their chairs into tiny needles that pierced their arms directly into their blood flow. After that was completed and the injection had been used up it would cause the pilots to pass out and the Gundam's program would take them back to their assigned positions."
"But what is in the injection?"
J smiled for a brief moment. "It's a chemical that tampers with the monogamy gene in the DNA system. They are bound entirely to each other by genetic makeup now. I also put an eraser gene in their system and during the injection blood mixed with the chemicals so now part of Heero is Duo and part of Duo is Heero. Compatibility reasons and all that. I also put a highly magnetic chemical that enhances brain intuition and activity with other brains having said chemical in them as well. Basically I made Heero and Duo telepathic on a certain level and unable to live without each other. They are genetically drawn to each other."
"They already were."
"On an emotional level," J sighed. "But Duo and Heero aren't stupid. They knew that they couldn't fight the public when they needed its support and knew, in their brains, that they needed to be apart. They will still be aware of that. But the attraction will keep them together in secret, feeding off each other and therefore keep our two most valuable soldiers fighting and," J's face lit with a smirk. "Stronger than you could ever, ever imagine."

I woke up but my eyes remained closed. I was in a dark room, on a soft bed. It had to have been mine for I detected no scent besides my own. My head was pounding and my arms ached. But for some reason, despite all that, I was strangely at peace and well rested. And then I heard it. Someone else's breathing. With a groan I managed to sit up with some effort and come face to face with Duo.
"You're better off just lying back down," his soft voice came to me like an echo from far away. "You've had a long forty-eight hours."
"Forty-eight hours?" I exclaimed, falling back on the bed instead of lying.
"After the injection Wing flew back home. Three men tried to retrieve you from the cockpit; two are in critical condition and one was killed."
In flashes I saw it. Men trying to pull me from the cockpit. Wing firing its guns every which way, throwing itself around to free away the men, crushing one man in its metal hands.
"You hit your head extremely hard during one of Wing Zero's attacks. You might experience a bit of amnesia here and there but other than that the doctors said you'd be fine."
"There's got to be more news for you to sound like me," I said almost bitterly.
"Well, yes, there is." Duo sighed. "Oz attacked last night on M2. They killed only women and children; any men that died were an accident. And any other men that would surrender Oz took in. they've taken over M2. What women and children that didn't die are now chained to soldiers' beds. They sent us rape videos if you need any more convincing."
"There's something else. One more thing."
Duo and my eyes met. I looked deep into them and could see myself through his eyes. I knew he was hiding something else. And I knew I could figure it out without him telling me. It was through sheer respect that I asked him and he knew it.
"The tabloids were at the attack that Wing started with the men. They...they got a picture of me holding you as I got you out of the cockpit. It appears that once again we're more important than a man dying."
"Do you have the article?"
"I haven't been able to stop staring at it; it's right here."
In my blurred vision Duo handed me the newspaper.
GUNDAM TEAM REUNITES AGAINST OZ---MORE THAN REUNITING FOR 01 AND 02?
And then followed the picture of Duo cradling my head against his shoulder as he pulled me away from Wing Zero.
"I wasn't holding your head because I wanted to," Duo sighed. "I mean, I did but…you were bleeding so bad and your head was swollen-I was trying to hold on to it so no more blood would leak out."
"Here we go again…" I groaned.
Duo bit his lip for a second before he looked at me. "But I've had plenty of time to come up with a plan to get rid of the media."
"What is it?" I asked, trying again to sit up.
All of a sudden there was a sharp knock at the door and in an instant Duo clammed up and turned to look out the window.
"May I come in?" Relena's voice echoed through the doorway.
"Come in Relena," Duo answered. His voice was much lower and smoother I noticed.
"Heero, I'm so glad you're awake. I just wanted to see how you both were doing and wanted to let you know lunch will be served downstairs for the five pilots if you all wished to talk. How are you two doing?"
"Heero just woke up so we're doing alright."
Relena looked between the two of us.
"Sorry Relena, I have someone waiting for me on M1. There's nothing between Heero and I."
"Oh," Relena murmured, turning quickly. "Well, I guess that's for the better. Lunch will be ready soon. Goodbye."
When the door closed I turned to Duo. "You lied to her."
"That's how we're going to make this work," Duo said standing up and looking out the window. "We're going to lie. I found a golden ring in my belongings. I'm saying I'm married to a woman and we're going to get you engaged."
"How could we possibly do that?" I parried.
"I've had all day and all night to think about it while you were passed out. You remember Catherine, Trowa's sister, right?"
"Of course."
"She's trustworthy and I've been in contact with her through Trowa and so on. If we ask her to agree to being engaged with you, go through a public marriage because the war is making you nervous everyone will forget who I am in the shuffle and if a single person pays attention I flash my own ring and not even a name will be asked. Only us pilots and Catherine will know. No one else, not even Relena, can be a part of this."
I groaned and put my face into my hands. "It sounds foolproof." But I didn't like the idea of dragging Catherine into this.
"It's media-proof. We have all the elements they want; soldier gone soft, a marriage, a girlfriend from nowhere. It's all new and it takes attention off the team and therefore off the team's relationships. If you focus on one person in the team so the media pulls back and has to widen their view a team and all their teammates are just that in relationship aspects and everything else."
"Are you going to be able to live with that, Duo?"
Duo's eyes flickered for a moment and I felt his mind close off to me. "That's another thing Heero. In public I think we're going to have to go back to how we were when we met."
"You mean, met for the first time? Duo we hated each other!"
"Heero, we can't fuck this up. Oz is going public. By slaughtering innocent people they're opening their communication lines to the media. This isn't all about you and me though I wish it were. I don't want them suspecting our ultimate weakness."
The more Duo spoke the more my mind came into focus. That's the reason Oz attacked a refugee colony. It's the only colony Earth had full coverage on since they started it. Oz was starting a public war and if they suspected that my marriage was a scam to cover up something else, which they surely would, we had to back that up with visible actions. I couldn't sacrifice Duo on something like that.
"If we know we're entirely safe then we'll drop the act," I agreed. "But you're right; this is a public war both with Oz and the media and ultimately they work hand in hand. The Gundam team is in the limelight and we have to be careful; we have to be entirely into the act we set up. No faltering, no wavering."
"Right."
There was a long silence and then Duo turned to face me entirely. "So do you think you can make it down to lunch?"
"Yeah, just help me get standing."
With only slight struggle I managed to stand, swaying a bit right into Duo's arms. I found Duo's face against my chest and my chin resting against the side of his head. His hair smelled wonderful as did the rest of him.
"This isn't right," Duo murmured.
"I'm sick and tired of right and wrong."
"What did J do to us?"
Something cold spread through my chest as I pictured the man that had all but controlled my breathing. "I don't know Duo, but I will find out."
"In the meantime you need to get fresh clothes on," Duo sighed with resign. He pulled away and walked over to my clothes and returned to hand me a pair of jeans and a green T-shirt. I changed carelessly in front of him, though he didn't stare uncomfortably. When I stood up fully dressed Duo made his way to the door and I followed silently.
"Just stay away from the windows," Duo warned.
As I looked out a full length mirror I saw someone shift in a bush. I sighed.
"I'll call security."
"We've tried."
"I'm the head Preventer and if they can't get paparazzi off Relena's land how do they expect to keep Oz off? I'll have a word with them."
We continued to walk down the hall silently. I took a glance at Duo and noticed how much he had changed. He walked with more confidence in himself, and his skin was flawless-free of teenage marring. He looked older and acted older. For the first time in my life the feeling of a several-year age rift was no longer divided. He walked with me just as powerful, just as mature, and just as tormented.
I smirked. "You know, I think I have a better idea."
"Idea of what?"
"The media."
Duo glanced my way. "And what would that be?"
"Why don't we fire back with a `secret' that will shock them into silence?"
"And what kind of secret would that be?"
"Look at us. If someone looked at us what would they say we were?"
"I don't know, we've passed as cousins and brothers before."
"Exactly, brothers. Twins even. The mischievous one and the cold-hearted one like always."
"Wouldn't that make us prime suspects for Oz to aim at then?"
"Yes, probably. But think about this: with our qualities now combined we're twice as strong and Oz won't be expecting that. If, by some freak chance, one of us got caught they'd only prepare themselves for how we used to be. They would never know what hit them."
Duo's wicked smile returned as he side-glanced at me. "I think I like your idea more…brother."
"The different names were just to keep us separated so Oz wouldn't suspect it; but now we want to be open and honest. It'd be the confession of the century."
"And the lie."
"Would you rather make it legal?" I parried.
"No, because then it'd be illegal to fuck you and I don't know what I'd do then."
I smirked and looked back out the window. "But before I eat I'm taking care of those bastards outside."
"I have two tranquilizer guns in Deathscythe."
I laughed. "Perfect. I'm up for a bit of hunting. Care to join?"
"Oh, I'd love to."
-NEXT SCENE-
"Brothers?" Quatre spat out over the dinner table.
Wufei rolled his eyes and Trowa raised an eyebrow.
"Sounds believable," Trowa said slowly.
"You're right about silencing the media in shock," Wufei scoffed.
"We don't need the extra attention. We're much better off outside the limelight," Duo argued back.
"I can't even remember those days," Quatre sighed.
"It'd give us enough time to find a safehouse until they were talking again," Trowa offered.
Wufei sighed. "I suppose if that's the best you could come up with."
"Come on Wuffie, you know you'd love to be my brother," Duo said in a sultry voice with a wink.
"Watch yourself Maxwell."
"So where were you guys at lunch?" Quatre said suddenly. "I thought you were on your way down."
Duo looked over me and we both laughed a bit. "We, um, thought the paparazzi needed a rest."
Trowa's eyes grew dark. "You didn't."
"Oh come on, I just bought the tranquilizer guns! I had to test them out."
"You two have got to be the most irresponsible men I've ever known!" Wufei exclaimed. "Especially you, Yuy. You think you're more mature than he is but you've got it all wrong. It truly is injustice!"
Quatre giggled a bit. "At least they survived to be called men. Those two, if they weren't messing around, were trying to get themselves killed."
"Eh, what else are brothers supposed to do?" Duo laughed.
"Oh help me," Wufei groaned, slamming his head down on the table.
"Heero, do you think they've woken up yet?"
I laughed. "I sure hope they do before nightfall if they haven't already. It's supposed to rain."
-NEXT SCENE-
In the middle of a deserted park on the outside of Paris seven naked men sat duct-taped together knocked out cold as dark clouds began to move into the area.
-NS-
When I walked into my room the shower was running in the bathroom and loud music was blaring from the CD player inside.
"You gotta KEEP `EM SEPARATED!" Duo's shrill voice shot through the shower and bathroom door.
"So much for maturity," I sighed as I walked to the bathroom.
"HEY, MAN YOU DISRESPECTING ME???"
"No, but you sure as hell NEED TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"
"YOU GOTTA KEEP `EM SEPARATED!"
With a sigh I opened the door, against my better judgment. Duo was rolling his hips around in the shower, running his hands through his long hair. Oh dear God.
"Hey Heero."
"Did you hear me a moment ago?"
"No."
"I told you to be quiet. You'll wake someone up. It's late."
"Sorry Heero, I'm bored so I have to entertain myself somehow."
As Duo turned back to the shower spray I saw he was…entirely turned on.
"So tell me, was it the music, the hot water, or me that gave you that?"
"I'm not sure but I can tell you which of the three can get rid of it for me."
I suddenly felt that mental tug in my brain again. Time to connect. Time to give into the addiction in my body. Years of being deprived of my one obsession were finally over. We were alone, and if I needed an excuse I could blame it on whatever it was that J shot us up with.
Within seconds I was without clothes. "What are brothers for?" I murmured.
As I stepped into the shower I felt the instant humidity assault my lungs. I could barely breathe. How was Duo carrying such a hard-on when all his effort had to be spent breathing? And three seconds later, said hard-on was up against my growing one.
"The brother thing is really great role-play," Duo murmured, instantly attacking my neck.
"Uh…" I tried to argue back but he latched onto my most sensitive nerve in my neck and all that followed was a moan.
"Haven't lost my touch I see," Duo groaned, beginning to grind his hips against mine. I was breathing in liquid straight out of the air and I noticed our chests heaved together as we continued to grind. My hands found the curves of his ass and I grabbed them, shoving him closer as to not tease me.
"Ah!" Duo cried out sharply, bowing his head against my neck. I felt his hand reach down between us and grab both our erections. "Heero, this isn't…gonna last…much…ah!…longer!"
In my last bout of strength I lowered us to the ground and held Duo to me by raising my knees. "Duo, it's been a while. I don't have anything to make this easier on you…"
"I'll be fine," Duo nearly moaned as he grabbed my erection. I watched with my breath held in painfully tight as he lowered himself onto me.
I don't know where I found the willpower to hold still as Duo groaned in pain as he seated himself fully onto me but I did and it was a good thing I had. Duo didn't come around quickly. His hands created bruises on my biceps and his teeth drew blood from his lip. I thought of telling him to stop but I'd die if he did. After what seemed like an eternity I felt Duo rock up on my shaft and back down.
"Oh god…!" I cried out. My hands immediately flew to his hips and forced him back up my shaft and right back down. Duo responded enthusiastically. I threw him against my erection; rough was all we knew. Duo held to my neck and threw his head back and we opted for more speed against his prostate than force. Sweat and water mixed on our bodies and the natural lubrication had Duo's erection gliding between our bodies. I bit Duo's neck and then his chest and took one of his nipples in my mouth.
"Heero…I'm close…!"
I mixed things up, I slowed down and thrust into him so hard Duo's cries became silent. His mouth was open wide in a scream but no sound came out. And then the breathy cries burst through. Nearly sobs from my body and his as I almost tore him with effort. Duo was shuddering, pounding himself down on me. My hands left five circular bruises on either side of his hips and with a final cry Duo exploded between our bodies. Seconds later I shattered and flipped Duo onto his back and pounded into him for all I was worth, riding my orgasm to the last instant.
Then we lay there, holding each other. I rolled off Duo and let the water pour down on us.
"The water's cold," Duo complained.
"Let's get out."
I managed to stand and shut the water off and help Duo to stand. He appeared okay, not too sore yet. But we'd see in the morning. I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist and handed one to him.
"Let's get in bed," I murmured, kissing his soft hair.
-NS-
"We could do that for a living," Duo sighed, content.
"Have sex?"
"Yeah, twin brothers going at each other with reckless abandon. Porn movies are really into that right now."
"You've got to be kidding."
"It was just an idea."
"I think you're tired and don't have a clue as to what you're saying."
"Probably."
"Just go to sleep."
I felt Duo's warm body snuggle against mine. "Alright. G'night Heero."
"Goodnight."
I turned the lights out. As I felt Duo's arms tighten around me I realized I had only shackled myself further into the darkness which was my lifelong struggle.
The worst realization hit me then. One day when my shackles were taken off Duo would be too. I had made a grave mistake. But as my body slipped into unconsciousness I forgot about my shackles and focused on the man in my arms. My lover, Duo.
-NS-
A man with a black mask turned to his right-hand man. "It's time for phase two. The pilots surely are assembled once again. Aim for Italy. Florence area. There's another refugee camp there. When the little showoffs turn up get the one with a long braid, pilot 02 of Deathscythe. Do not fail this mission."
"It will be done."
"Good. Now leave; we have a busy day tomorrow."
The masked man turned to a computer screen with the five faces of the pilots on it. "And once I have you, Duo Maxwell, I'll bring the Gundam pilots one by one to their knees. J always did ignore me when I told him that you were the fracture point of the team. He'll get to watch that first hand. Finally."
