Oh well.

This is an epic-like sci-fi/fantasy story that I've been batting around in my head for a while now. The world of Ghandrah, the United Coalition of Planets and the Interstellar Scientific Administration are all mine. All events, settings, animals, creations, etc. are also completely mine. The only things I borrowed were some characters. All characters not from Gundam Wing are also mine.

I have placed, at the end of each chapter, some footnotes to help with the understanding of terms both from Ghandrah and from the ISA.

On this page, there will be a Cast of Characters list that will expand as the story progresses. I will also add a Terms list later on.

Oh, pairings…I really have no idea at this point other than to say there will be some, there will be het, yaoi and possibly yuri, and there won't be traditional pairings (if there are, they will be from minor characters). I'll update this as the story progresses.

The story is obviously going to be an alternate universe.

To the Interstellar Scientific Administration, the star was HR 3094, an aging star, bloated and red as it struggled for the last few moments of its long life. To the desert Tribes of the planet Ghandrah, the star was Rhuii, the Goddess of Fire. To the ISA, Rhuii was an opportunity to actively study the death of a star. To the Tribes, Rhuii was the red sun that burned the desert sands.

Ten years ago, the ISA pulled into orbit around the desert planet, sending its scientists to the surface to study the planet. Their descent to the surface sparked fear into the Tribes, and when the natives began to disappear from nightly Raids executed by the ISA, the Tribes turned to defend their land from the offlanders--the Lsar.

A prophecy spoken long ago, when the last of the forests disappeared, now comes to pass. A girl with hair of fire, two offlanders and three Tribal leaders must travel between the vast reaches of the desert oases and the vast reaches of the stars. The Tribes must ally themselves with an enemy more ruthless than the desert in order to save themselves. But setting aside old hurts and plans of vengeance is not as easy as prophecy makes it seem…

Quatre -- Tribal leader of the Shikah Tribe (the God of Destruction)

Duo -- Quatre's adviser, best friend and closest confidant.Phoenix -- Duo's sister, Warrior Head of the Shikah Tribe.Mhana -- Weather-seer of the Shikah Tribe.

Heero -- A scientist for the ISA, stationed at Alpha Observatory, planet-side.

Wufei -- Heero's friend and co-worker

Aja -- a cloth veil designed to cover mouth and nose against dust, sun and wind.

Aju -- the traditional robes of the tribes to protect from the desert.

Bhakh -- vulture like creatures. They are winged and they prey on the dead.

Djeinge -- the various scavenger creatures of the desert.

Ghandrah -- the main desert, also the name of the planet.

Jhundrii -- translated roughly into "raging death"Khanhii -- an ocean of extraordinarily large proportions.Khanji -- the Goddess of Water, also the name of the first moon, the larger of the two.Lsar -- OfflandersMorii -- the God of Mirage, also the name of the second moon, the moon in retrograde.Msanii -- camel like desert animals. They are pack animals, always staying near those in their group.
