Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ Gundam Day Care ❯ Reflection ( Chapter 2 )
Disclaimer: Please do not sue. I have no money. I spent it fixing my computer so I could write this fic. I do not own any of the gundam pilots. This fic was inspired by the movie Daddy day care so I also give them my credit.
Please do not steal any of my ideas. I worked long and hard on it.
Please read and review. It's the only way I can make this fic/series better.
That night I lay on my bed and thought about the things that had happened. Maxwell and Yuy living in the same house. No one dead. Maxwell and Yuy running a business together. No one dead. Maxwell taking charge of the business. Still no one dead. To top it off, Maxwell had somehow managed to infiltrate Yuy's once thought to be impenetrable barrier and taught him to show some emotion. Yuy had smiled a real smile and laughed a happy laugh. Yuy had also said he was having fun. No one in a million years would have thought Yuy would have said he was having fun but his actions proved it. I had observed him throughout the day. Somehow Maxwell had miraculously cured his temper as well. He was now more patient that I would ever be. I fell asleep pondering over how such a phenomenon could have occurred.
"Crash!"
I grabbed my gun from under my pillow.
"Breakfast is ready." Yelled Maxwell.
What time was it? I looked at my clock. Six in the morning!!! What was Maxwell doing up at six in the morning? I sighed, tucked the gun into my pocket and headed downstairs for breakfast.
"And we should have get the kids to make a trace around each other. Then they can bring a tracing of themselves home."
It was obvious that Yuy wasn't paying attention to what Maxwell was saying. He was staring at me. It was a cold stare, not a death glare. He just stared.
"What? Is it something on my face?" I asked. "Stop looking at me like that."
"Wufei. This is a day care center. I will not allow weapons in the house while there are children present."
Maxwell looked at me, mouth full of pancake and eyes wide in shock.
"oo ave a ea on?" (1)
"I'm sorry Wufei but these are children that are arriving soon. Not soldiers. I don't want them to pick up a gun and accidentally kill someone. Please hand me that gun."
"But Duo has a gun! He almost shot me yesterday!!"
"Chang, Duo is allowed a plastic gun when the children are around. His real gun is upstairs somewhere in closet. Now the gun."
Heero held his hand out.
"And what will happen if I don't give you the gun?"
"Then the other option is for you to leave all the weapons you have brought with you in your room or to leave them in the basement." Heero said coldly. "If you don't then I'm sorry but you are not welcome to stay."
I was defeated. "Ok I'll leave my weapons upstairs." I got up and headed for the door.
"Where are you going Wuffie?"
"To find myself a job and my name is Wufei."
"Then I guess you wouldn't mind pulling your own here and throw out the trash for us?"
There was a hint of mockery in his voice but I chose to ignore it.
As I walked out the door I saw the woman I had met yesterday.
"Good morning." She greeted. "I see that you're here again. Are you going to be working here?"
"No. I'm merely living here until I find another place to stay." I said and walked away. I could hear her son telling her that my name was Wuffie. I am so going to kill you Maxwell.
I walked and walked before finding myself at a nearby park. It was only eight in the morning. I found myself a quiet spot and began my meditation exercises. I breathed in and out slowly, feeling much better with each breath I took. I could feel myself relax. It felt good to be able to do so. I continued my meditation but before long I found myself thinking about Yuy's massive personality change. What did Maxwell do to him? I was positive that no drug could have induced such a change. Mental note to self: must have a discussion with Maxwell on how Yuy is now a reflection of what he once was.
