Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ Gundam Day Care ❯ For the sake of 10 credits ( Chapter 13 )

I combed my hair until it was shiny and flowing. I was extremely happy with its length, just past butt length when it's unbraided. I slipped on my outfit. If this didn't win me my 10 credits then Wufei must have been blessed with a miracle.

"Duo breakfast is ready!" called Trowa through the intercom. Gosh, he must be really thankful Quatre recently got that installed I thought to myself. It'd be a real shock to the system if I heard Trowa yell up three flights of stairs just to get me down for food. Not wanting to disappoint, I quickly slid down the stairs. My hair flying like a banner of brown behind me and walked into the dining room, flicking my hair just like the girls in the shampoo commercials do.

"Duo breakfast is ready!" Trowa called into the intercom. I wondered what Duo was going to do. I didn't mind making bets with him as the results of them were usually worth the loss but I never expected the things that happened next.

My eyes bulged out of my head and my jaw dropped wide open as soon as he walked into the room. He was wearing the tightest pair of black cutoffs I had ever seen, a matching black midriff that was equally tight and his hair was out of its usual braid, shiny and fluid like a waterfall. I think a pool of saliva had started to form on the corner of my mouth.

Duo sauntered over towards the table, no he was moving towards me. I noticed that his hips were moving slightly (yep, I was definitely drooling). He collapsed effortlessly into my lap, not breaking the eye contact that we had. His index finger was tapping his nose.

"Duo, what?" I asked.

He nodded his head towards Wufei. He was still staring at Duo, eyes wide, mouth open and blood dripping from his nose onto the tablecloth.

"The bet?" reminded Duo.

"Huh? Oh yea the bet." I shook my head to try and snap out of the trap Duo had thrown me in and fished out ten credits. He took it and smiled at Wufei.

"Hey thanks buddy! You got me some extra cash to spend for the week. Hmmm maybe you should get a tissue or something now, you're losing blood fast you know?"

I sat back and played with my love's beautiful hair while he chattered endlessly to Wufei. Deep down inside my heart I knew that I loved Duo with all my heart and that no amount of credits in the entire universe could take him away from me. I started to think about Duo's announcement for marriage. It was a real dream come true for me. Then I realized that we hadn't told the others about Duo's decision. I listened to the rate that Duo was ranting and raving on about. I picked up a grape and stuffed it into his mouth to silence his for a moment.

"Now that Duo is quiet for a moment" I began "I want you to remember that Duo wanted to announce something very important to us all but then I dragged him into our room because there was something that we hadn't discussed. We'-"

I never got to finish; Duo had eaten that grape with superhuman speed and interrupted.

"YUP! We're going to get MARRIED! M-A-R-R-I-E-D! and I completely estatic about it"

I think that the two surprises we presented were just too much for Quatre who promptly fainted soon after those words.

I needed to do some studying for my HSC (some dumb test that will let me get into UNI if all goes well) and I don't have much time to write for you. I'm so sorry that there will be cliffhangers but please don't stop checking for updates and reviewing. I will try my best to write for you.
