Outside in the garden….

I woke up to find Priscilla snuggled up really close to me. Looking at her brought a warm and fuzzy feeling into my heart. I don't know why I felt like that. Maybe it was because she looked really content, asleep like that. I just didn't have the heart to wake her. She would be what Daddy Trowa would call a cuddle bug. Maybe she would be my cuddle bug. I looked down at her again and swept some of that pretty, multicolored-hair off her face. She stirred and opened her eyes. Something that I had noticed about Priscilla was that she never woke up with sleep filled eyes. She would always wake up, eyes sparkling and wore an expression on her face that said `I'm awake and full of energy.'

"Morning David." She mumbled, still curled up beside me. I decided to try out her new name, just to see how she would react.

"Morning my cuddlebug."

"I'm not a cuddlebug!"

"You spent most of last night cuddled up next to me just like you are now."

Priscilla got up and checked the position that she had slept in.

"Oh yea" her voice full of realization "you're right I am a cuddle bug!"

She smiled a brilliant smile. "And you saved me from the dark monster!"

David nodded and held Priscilla's hand tightly.

"C'mon!" he said, "Lets go for breakfast. I'm hungry and I miss daddy Trowa's cooking."

Now back inside the house…

Hilde was the first to recover from the news.

"Congratulations! Duo, Heero this is the best news I've heard all year. So have you

set a date? Or got some plans? Anything at all?" she said with joy and excitement.

"Plans…no but we are considering selling the childcare business, buying a bigger house. Wedding plans are just way too complicated for me." Replied Duo with a lazy smile. He winked at Wufei who was glaring at him and trying to stop the nosebleed at the same time.

"Duo, stop teasing him. You might get hurt if you're not careful and I don't want an injured fiancé to turn up to the wedding ok?" I said quietly.

BANG BANG BANG

"LEMME IN! I SMELL VEGIMITE ON TOAST AND I WANT SOME!!!"

Trowa got up slowly and opened the door to let two children in. Priscilla immediately ran up to the dining table and grabbed a slice of toast.

"Mmm, vegemite." She mumbled, chewing on the toast. "The green eyed monster makes the best vegemite in the entire Universe."

Hilde turned to Trowa. "You know how to make vegemite?"

Trowa blushed. "Bought it," he said.

"David game me a new name" piped up Priscilla, who was still chewing on her toast.

"What is it sweetie?" Hilde asked with curiosity.

"He called me cuddlebug. I like the name!" she said cheerfully. "But you guys can't call me that. Only he can." There was a hint of possessiveness in her voice. I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. I knew Duo took their hugs, kisses and pet names for each other as a joke but I might have to consult Quatre and his space heart to get another viewpoint. Hmmm David and Priscilla Winner…heh I think I'm getting ahead of myself. Duo and I weren't even married yet let alone my daughter and the Winner kid.
