- - - -had only been a couple of day's since the whole incident with Neo Wing 0, and Meg's encounter with the famed system that had been rumoured to drive pilots mad. Kaito had since come to live with the girls in their Canada base and their parents had headed back to the Sanc Kingdom, after Duo was sure that his daughter wasn't going to nearly get herself killed again. Kaito had restricted access to certain things currently; it wasn't that the girls didn't trust him it was just that things needed to settle down first. The girls had shown him to his own room, which was down the hallway of the cabin's second floor, and had shown him where their rooms were if they were needed for some reason.

Cassi had spent those last couple of days sleeping, eating and trying to repair her damaged suit. It hadn't taken a beating from the suits they'd battled, but from the fall that it had taken when Meg had fired Wing 0's main weapon at her and Kaito. The right arm had taken the most damage as it had landed on it, and her beam sabre needed fixing, and her gundam's stabilisers needed realigning. She was busy doing that the one particular day and was sitting on the cockpit door to do it, when she saw Meg striding across the hanger bay. Kaito was also in the hanger fixing his suit up, although it really didn't need much work done to it, so he was buising himself with helping the technicians and so forth.
Meg stood across the hanger where the Wing 0 was locked down, it the most beautiful and marvelous thing she had ever seen. But she also remembered that it was also the most dangerous.

Slowly she yawned, she hadn't been able to sleep long for days plagued by the same dream of flames and the shooting of Cassi. Slowly she leaned the railing, she hadn't been able to eat much ether. She knew she would loose strength and probably get sick easily but right now she didn't know what was good or herself.

'Uh i've got to get out of here," Meg whispered as she started across the hanger to her beloved gundam Deathscyth Angel.

Cassi and Kaito watched as she took the elevator to the top and started the repairs to inside her cockpit.

Kaito decided to check on the young red head girl and found her fast asleep upside in what appeared in be trying to fix the wiring under her controls.
stood up on her Gundam's cockpit door and leant against the frame, trying to see what was up.
"Kaito!" she called across to him. "Is she ok?" Kaito turned back to face the blue haired girl, the younger of his two female counterparts and sighed.
"She's fallen asleep," he responded. Cassi shook her head and chuckled, as Kaito gently lifted the sleeping girl up in his arms. She knew he intended to take her to her room, and she needed to be lying somewhere more comfortable than on the metal that was her gundams cockpit door. She gave her male counterpart a nod, and returned to realigning her gundam's stabilizers.

Kaito carried Meg to her room in the main cabin, and gently put her down on the single bed in it. He shook his head quietly, both he and Cassi knew that Meg had not been eating or sleeping properly recently, and if she wasn't so reluctant they'd have called her father by now. Sighing he closed the curtains and left the room, closing the door behind him. He had his own work to finish, and he was sure Meg would be happier if Cassi worked on her gundam and not him, for now that is.was seriously getting annoyed the dream was repeating again and again in her dreams. So as her dreams continued they suddenly changed to a large wooden collage on the edge of a town.

'No not this" Meg said as she watched her dream continue.

A young Meg was in the living room playing a brown bear and a women and her father were both watching her play. The woman was beautiful with short red hair and emerald green eyes. She was wearing a long yellow sundress she had sown herself. Her father was working on his laptop and laughing at some chain letter he been sent.

"Momma...momma teddy's arm fell off again," The young Meg cried and started to cry.

"Shh it's all right honey mommy will sew it on again," The women said and slowly removed a needle and thread from her basket and began what the little girl thought as an operation.

"Ha ha my little shinigami," Duo laughed as he picked her high into the air and twirled her around, the little girl cried in laughter.

Then suddenly the scene was encrypted in flames and the little girl was crying in a room surrounded by flames still clutching the brown teddy bear. Then she saw a figure moving towards her and picked her up.

Then Meg watched as the child stood outside crying in her father's arms.

"Mommy... I want mommy!" She cried as the firefighters tried to put out their burned house,

"Shh it's alright my little Shinigami," Duo said but he also was on the verge of tears.

"No I don't wont to remember this!" Meg screamed as she watched Marti Maya suddenly walk up and tell her father something.
Cassi and Kaito were taking a break and were inside the kitchen when they heard screaming coming from Meg's room.
that the Deathscyth Angel pilot was in some sort of trouble, both put down what they were doing and rushed upstairs. Cassi, who was ahead of Kaito, ran up to the door leading to Meg's room and pushed it open. She stepped inside whilst switching on the light switch, which turned on a bright light bulb. The whole room was immediately filled with light as Kaito stepped into the room, looking towards where Meg lay on the bed, still screaming.

Cassi strode over to her bedside hurriedly and leaning over her, gently shook her via her shoulder.
"Meg," she urged shaking her. "Meg, wake up. Wake up!" Meg sat bolt upright, sweat coating her face and hands, and her eyes wide and unfocused as she looked around the room in confusion. Slowly allowing herself to calm down, she once again looked around the room to see Cassi half leaning over her, and Kaito standing half way into the middle of the room.
"What?" she asked somewhat confused. "Where? What are you guys doing in here?"
"We thought you were being attacked," Cassi responded as she sat down on the edge of her friends bed.
"Attacked?"
"Yeah," Kaito responded. "You were screaming so loud, we heard you down stairs."
"Oh."must have been some nightmare," Kaito said calmly, "Care to talk about it? You know you can talk to us if you need to." He walked over and sat on the end of the bed, "I promise, whatever it is, I won't laugh. Might make a joke or two but I won't laugh."

He always saw Meg, as well as Cassi, as strong. He really couldn't believe that these nightmares were bothering her so much. It seemed strange that a nightmare could nearly bring the girl to tears while fighting thirty mobile suits didn't scare her one bit. He shook his head slightly and smiled.
fine...i'm fine," Meg said and sat there as tears ran down her face.

'You sure?" Kaito asked, "You look scared to death,"

"Was it the same dream?" Cassi asked, remembering her conversation with the dream where Meg had shot her.

"No," She said, "Just it's just that fire it...listen I need something to eat,"

Meg quickly retreated to the kitchen where she opened the fridge and hauled out some leftover pizza. She began to eat but soon remembering the fire began to unknowingly cry and let the tears fall down her face.

Suddenly shooting up from the table she retreated to the hanger where she curled up in the cockpit of her gundam.

"Why...why did have to dream about it again!" Her sobbed and continued to cry remembering those horrible images, 'Mother"
sighed and glanced over at Cassi, "What now? She's upset about something. Actually, I think she's got a problem with fire. Guess we all have to have something to fear." His biggest fear had always been that he'd hurt someone he cared about. He'd nearly gone that far after what Oz had done and he hated to even think about what would have happened if the girls hadn't gotten him out of there.

"So," he began calmly, "What are you, the mighty Cassandra afraid of?"
got up from where she was still sitting on Meg's bed and walked over to the window, so she could open the curtains and look out at the Canadian land before her. She folded her arms and shook her head, before turning around and heading towards the door.
"Well?" Kaito questioned. Cassi stopped and looked at him.
"I've seen and experienced a lot in the last couple of months," she told him. "I've looked death in the eye, i've fought in a handful of mobile suit battles and i've experienced my mother's wrath. So I'm not exactly afraid of anything anymore."
"Liar," Kaito accused as he followed her out of the room and downstairs. "Everyone has some sort of fear, I told you mine, it's obvious what Meg's is, so tell me what yours is."
"I already told you," Cassi responded as they peered into the kitchen to see if Meg was still there. "I fear very little."
"But you fear something. What is it?"

Cassi stopped as they reached the door to the hanger and turned to look at him, her eyes glistening.
"Truthfully?" she stated. "I'm afraid of losing the only two people who understand me. You and Meg, you two are the only ones I know who understand me, the only two I know I can trust with my feelings and my life. Sure I trust my mom, but...sometimes some things go deeper than that. I had that with my father and he left me, I couldn't bare the thought of losing my surrogate brother and sister to. Nor could I bare the thought that i'd be turned on, that for some reason i'd lose one of the only two reasons I bother fighting for." She wiped a single tear from her eye before it could fall, and turned away to open the door.
"You happy now?" That said Cassi walked into the hanger, and began walking down the metal staircase and onto the lower underground floor. Kaito followed her quietly, so she really looked upon him and Meg as family. That was surprising.sat in her cockpit curled up on her seat crying with her face in her knees. The images of her old house kept coming into her mind, that fire that taken away one of the most important things in my life and it was all Marti Maya's fault and somewhat of her own fault.

'It's my fault I should have never that stupid red head idiot talk me into it!!" She cried.

Suddenly she heard steps coming up towards her gundam on the ramp beside them. Looking up teary eyed she saw it was Cassi.

Cassi approached Meg's gundam quietly, and stopped to casually lean on the rail of the metal gantry she was standing on. Kaito walked past her, obviously going back to working on his own gundam. She peered in at Meg quietly, probably making a judgment as whether or not to try talking to her or just to leave her be. She had obviously decided to talk to her, as she stepped onto the open cockpit door and walked a few short steps across it. She sat down with her legs tucked up beneath her chin, and wrapped her arms around them.to talk about it?" she asked gently. "Talk loud or quiet if you want, both Kaito and I are here both Kaito and I are here, we're the only ones here to. Although Kaito's going to be working on Shadowarcher if you do want to talk." As Cassi said that she waved over to Kaito's gundam, which was right at the end of the hanger bay and on her Gundam's right side.

Meg sat upwards and hugged her legs towards her face tightly as her face was stained with tears.

"Huh look at me a gundam pilot crying out a stupid mistake," She said, "Cass I...i'm afraid of fire ok and I had a dream... "

Cassi saw her friend bit her lip, it must be hard.

'"When I was young," Meg whispered so only Cassi could hear, "My parents use to live outside a small town where the Kushrinada family lived so my dad could be near his work...then...Mariemaia came for a visit. She was supposed to be babysitting me since my parents were away. But she asked me to help her test a new experiment she was working on. It went wrong right away and the whole house caught on fire"

Slowly crying and let out a sob.

"I was trapped in my room...I just...I couldn't get out...then my mother came in and scooped me up in her arms...she got me out the door into my father's arm but the ceiling collapsed... Mother,"

Meg burst out in a cry of sobs and tears. Cassi slowly handed her friend a hanky and she blew her nose.

'Thanks" She said and sniffed. "Don't...don't tell Kaito I just told yea that...the entire thing was fault i should have never helped her"
Cassi got up and knelt at the entrance to the cockpit, before reaching out to hold Meg's hand in her own. She knew how Meg felt about losing a parent, as she'd lost her father when she was 8. wasn't your fault Meg," she comforted. "It was hers, she shouldn't have asked you at that age. It was irresponsible." She tightened her grip on Meg's hand, hoping it would offer some comfort.I told Kaito this so i'll tell you to," she began in a soft whisper. "You and Kaito are like the siblings I never had, I love you like family and my greatest fear would be to lose you. You're one of the two things i'd hate to lose, the second being my mother." Cassi knelt down completely, and rested her hands on her lap. Glancing over at Kaito, she saw him disappear into his own cockpit and sit down, he was obviously working on something.lost my dad when I was 8," she whispered to Meg. "He got caught up in his work as a backup preventer and was shot trying to keep another war from breaking out, the people were caught but my father died." My mother doesn't know I know, so please don't tell her." Meg nodded quietly. Cassi sighed as she curled her knees up beneath her, rather than sitting on them.remember hon, you're not alone. If anything troubles you, you have me and Kaito now, k?"hoped that Cassi was getting through to their companion. He'd felt it better if the two girls talked out Meg's problem. He knew both girls had lost a parent, so they had this in common and would be able to talk about it. He'd never lost anyone he cared for and he was glad of it but he felt useless in helping Meg because of it.

Hurting someone he cared about might have been his biggest fear but it wasn't his only one. The talk he'd had with Cassi made him think about them. He'd always been afraid of drowning and closed in spaces. He couldn't quite remember why but he knew something had happened that brought about those two fears. He was surprised that he wasn't terrified of being in the cockpit of his gundam. Meg said and wiped her eyes clean of tears, "Thanks Cass your like a sis to me too...I want you to have this'

Slowly Meg removed a long necklace off her neck, it was a small pendent hanging from a piece of leather. The pendent was round with small wings carved in the sides and a cross in the middle.

Cassi took it and read the back:

Óúlsá fóén hëten cysen
Oulsä foen utërspäceóth
rotéctpó hytén romfí lläen eamonsdí
Réámsdó hällsó ómécä óten hytén
Óldhï émen lósécé ótën rótéctpó
Ntilúth Ëathdí ácëta émen wäyáth romfë hyten

"It means Soul of the sky, Soul of outer space, protect thy from all daemons, Dreams shall come to thy, hold me close to protect, until my death take the away from thy," Meg said, 'It's some form of Pig English or something my mom gave it to me she was big on that language."

"She told me that it would protect me...plus my dad implanted a tracking device inside," She chuckled, "So if you're in trouble just press the cross it'll send us a signal k?"
took the necklace and hooked it around her neck.Meg," she told her softly and stood up to shake the cramp out of her legs.who was still working on his Gundam heard Cassi and Meg say something, and figured that Cassi must've managed to talk Meg around a bit. The blue haired girl stood up and shook her legs a bit, obviously trying to work out a cramp in them. She smiled over at him, and walked back onto the gantry. Stretching she looked around the hanger bay, this was all a bit too closed in for her.
"Kaito, Meg," she called to them as she walked towards the stairs a few meters away from her. "I'm going to grab my jacket and go for a walk into town ok."
"Sure," Kaito responded. "Try not to get into trouble."
"I may be 15-years-old," Cassi countered as she stopped at the top of the stairs and looked back at him. "But I don't act it. Besides I have these if I do get into any trouble." As she said that, she raised her left arm with the wrist radio on it and tapped her belt beneath her jacket, where she kept her small revolver and slightly lifted the necklace Meg had given her.
"He's just concerned," Meg grinned as she tried to focus on her work again. "He'd do the same for me and vice versa."
"Maybe," Cassi groaned as she began walking down the steps. "But I have a feeling you two just do it to me because i'm the baby around here."
"You're spot on," Kaito joked as Cassi stepped off the steps and walked over to where her bike was parked.

Cassi turned and glared at him as she retrieved her jacket and bag, but he just laughed as did Meg. Frowning and shaking her head, Cassi walked over to the door and went out, closing it behind her. She walked up the bike ramp and into the open air. It was cool outside, and a gentle breeze was blowing. It began ruffling her hair as she walked, and goose bumps rose on her arms so she fastened her jacket.
"This will definitely be a brisk walk," she said to herself as she began walking. As she walked she was semi-aware of someone watching her, but she paid no heed to it, she could look after herself after all.

Kaito shook his head with a smirk and looked over to Meg, "You hungry? I was thinking of ordering pizza." He'd noticed they always seemed to order out for meals. He could cook but he didn't want the girls to know that. He'd never much enjoyed it and only did it when it was necessary.
walked quietly down the concrete streets towards the town, it was a fifteen minute walk, but if she'd ridden her bike it would've taken half the time, but Cassi liked quiet walks they made her feel better. The cool air danced across her face, turning it from it's usual creamy shade to white with a pretty red blush on her cheeks. She was still being watched even now, who the heck would have the nerve to follow her for this long and not announce themselves. She was considering laying down the riot act if it were Meg or Kaito playing a joke on her. She was the youngest of the three pilots, and she was well aware of the fact that her two fellow pilots knew this, that was why they always told her to be careful even though she was a black belt in martial arts and a qualified gundam pilot.

She was nearing the town and was getting tired of the nagging feeling, so she turned around and glared at the emptiness behind her.
"I don't know whom the heck you think you are stalking a young lady, but I suggest you come out now or i'll find you myself," she threatened, as she prepared to fight anyone who came near her. Seeing nothing she turned and walked into the town. It wasn't a massive town, but it was big enough. She passed several alleyways and noticed shadowy figured lurking in the ones she passed.
"That does it," she growled under her breath. She turned off her walking route and into an alleyway, and began looking around.

It was too quiet, which caused her to go on high alert. With the training she'd received she knew that when it was too quiet, something was seriously wrong. Glaring around at thin air, she heard footsteps as someone approached her from behind. She whirled round and came face to face with an OZ soldier, not much older than herself, probably about 17 or 18.
"Yes, she'll do just fine," he snorted as he stepped towards her. Cassia's first instinct was to knock him out, but he'd seen her so he'd have to be killed. She hated killing kids around her own age, but an OZ soldier was an OZ soldier.
"If you want me for something, you'd better be willing to come and get me," she told him.
"No problem," he retorted and nodded to someone behind her.

Cassi had heard noises behind her, but the soldier in front of her made the first offensive move and she had to take him down first. She elbowed him in the stomach and flipped him onto his back, and turned to face the others. There were five guys surrounding her. Great she thought. The brutes of the OZ forces Knowing she was in trouble, she went to try her wrist radio, but got stuck in another attack. Frowning she made a move for her gun, but another guy attacked her. The last option was Meg's necklace. She reached up and pressed the cross, just as two of the guys pulled a dummy move on her, and managed to grab her arms.
"Let me go," she growled out as her arms were twisted behind her back.
"Sorry missy, not a chance," the first guy from before snorted and with a swift whack to her neck, Cassi was knocked out and fell limp in her one captor's arms.
"Let's go," the leader ordered. The captor lifted Cassi's smaller frame easily into his arms, and followed him down into the darkness of the alley.
'Something's wrong" Meg said and looked at Kaito as he opened the pizza box.
"What do you mean?" He asked and placed the pizza in two plates.
"I dunno something's just wrong," She said and went over and picked up one of the walkie-talkies. 'This is 02 calling 01 come in 01" The line was all-static.
"She's not answering," Meg said.
"That's not like Cassi" Kaito said.
"Yeah I know let's go find her I have a feeling something's seriously wrong," she said.
"How can you know that?" Kaito asked.
"Call it woman's intuition," She said.

In a small plane heading to the mainland, Cassi lay unconscious across a pair of chairs with the safety belts fastened over her so she wouldn't fall off the seats. She didn't know that her radio had crackled to life, and she hadn't heard Meg's voice calling her code number and luckily her captors hadn't either. Her captors had removed her gun though, and one had it hooked in his belt. she'll wake up before we get there?" asked the one as he glanced nervously over at Cassi. He'd been one of those who she'd hit pretty hard, and he didn't want to be on the receiving end of another hit if she woke up.doubt it," snorted their leader who was in the co-pilot seat. "I gave her a pretty hard whack, she'll be out for a while."
on Sabel Island, Kaito and Meg had taken their bikes out to town rather than walking as it would've taken way too long. Stopping in the town, they parked and locked their bikes up before walking around and trying to look as indiscreet as possible.where are you?" asked Meg worriedly as they turned and noticed the alleyways. She wouldn't have gone in one would she? They started searching the alleyways. Some led into others, and others led into dead ends. They searched the first set they saw, until they came to the one where the whole incident had took place. They knew this as some of the junk in the alley was in disarray.
walked into the alleyway with Kaito just behind her and began looking around, while Kaito called Cassi's name out. He was just about to tell Meg he couldn't see anything when he kicked something.this?" he asked as he bent down to pick the item up.bag," Meg responded. "She must've dropped it."woman's intuition was right," Kaito told her. "Come on, we'd better start a wider search for her. Meaning we'd better go back to the base." Meg nodded and the two took Cassi's bag and returned to their bikes. Unlocking them and starting them up, the two headed back to their base. Only to me met by Dr. H. He was waiting at the bottom of the exit ramp as they slowly wheeled their bikes down it. Kaito, the main computer's picked up some signal or other," he told them. "Come and have a look. We don't know what it is, but you may." Kaito and Meg nodded as they followed the doctor to the main computer. They both examined the screen and Meg sighed,
"That's the tracking device on my necklace. Cassi must have activated it when she got into trouble."
"I wonder if our parents ever got into this kind of trouble or this amount for that matter," Kaito sighed, "So this is where she is then? Seems to be moving. So what should we do. Wait for her to stop or go after her now and have the doctor give us directions?"
"I for one am not gonna stand around waiting around for H to give us orders," Meg said and hauled out a pair of car key's, "We're gonna follow em...come on."
'Hey wait sec" Kaito said and was hauled off by Meg who lead him to a black Jag in a parking lot nearby. "Please don't tell me your driving,"
"Of course," Meg said and got inside and buckled herself in.
"Do you even know how to drive?" Kaito asked and buckled himself as Meg turned the Jag on.
"Uh well my driving instructor did say I was totally insane and I had road rage but it only took me seven times in drivers ed before I got my beginners," Meg said.
"Beginners...hey wait a second!" Kaito said and Meg took off out of the parking lot like a madman and followed the signal.
"Ha ha they'll never escape the goddess of death!!" Meg chuckled.
"Meg slow down!" Kaito said as he held onto the door handle for dear life. 'Slow down you maniac!"
"Music" She said and turned on my jazzy highway chasing music. Kaito clenched his eyes shut. If she continued this way they'd be dead before they got the chance to save Cassi. He had the urge to ask her to pull over so he could drive but he didn't think she'd go for that so he just held on tightly to the door handle with one hand and the bottom of the seat with the other.
"There's the van," Meg said and carefully followed it.
"We're being followed," a man said. "Loose em,"
"Huh they're speeding up," Meg stated, "Well I can do that too,"

Meg sped up and the Van turned sharply right and Meg followed and Kaito screamed as she flew over a hill and the Van's back door suddenly opened and they started getting fired at.
"Ahhh!" They both screamed as the windshield was taken out of the car and they skidded slightly to the side.
"'That windshield was brand new!" Meg cried and sped up as they went onto the open free way. Meg zoomed past the other cars in hot pursuit of the van and by now they could hear sirens behind them.
"Oh crap the cops are after us" Meg said and stepped on the gas.

The driver of the van laughed that Jag wouldn't catch them suddenly he noticed a tanker truck heading straight for them. Holding out a large gun he cried as he shot the back tires out and drove past the large tank the truck was carrying.
"No...no Meg stop!" Kaito said.
"Hold on!" Meg cried as she hugged the side of the freeway and zipped past the end of the tank just as it hit the railing on the side of the road.
"That's a new paint job now i'm pissed!!!!!" Meg cried and sped up.
"YOU'RE GONNA GET US KILLED!" Kaito shouted at her then pulled out his gun mumbling to himself as he fired at the tires of the Van in front of them right through what use to be the windshield. He yelped once as Meg made a sharp move to avoid a car and nearly lost his gun in the process. He cursed slightly as he fired again taking out one of the men that was shooting at them from the back of the van.
"Hold on!" Meg screamed as she rammed the back of the truck and she could see Cassi in the back, "There they have Cassi!" Suddenly the van took a sharp turn off the freeway and into a large meadow. It stopped in the middle and the men suddenly took Cassi's unconscious body out of the back and Meg followed them.
"I'm going run those guys right over grrrrrr," Meg said stopped the car pulling out her gun. Kaito sat in the seat still unaware that they had stopped and Meg had gotten out of the car.
"Stop right there unless yeah want to be missing a head put my friend down now!" Meg cried and pointed her gun aiming for the man holding Cassi.
"Huh" The man said and suddenly the wind started to pick and suddenly a helicopter came into view.

A ladder came down and Meg started to shoot as they grabbed onto the ladder and they ran after them grabbing onto the ladder of they were lifted into the air. By now Kaito had came to his senses and was firing at the copter also.
"Meg!" He yelled as a man suddenly kicked the red head off the ladder and she landed on the ground. "Meg...are you ok?"
"CASSI!" she screamed as the helicopter took off and the Preventer police cars were zooming towards them. Kaito checked Meg over making sure she was ok then turned and headed back to the car. He glanced at the screen watching the blip move away from them and sighed. he hoped that she was able to keep the necklace on until they were able to find them.

The preventer's police cars stopped just a ways off and several people got out. Kaito's eyes widened slightly as he saw Dr. H, Heero, Duo, Quatre, Wufei and his father step out along with Cassi's mom. He supposed Dr. H had called them when they found out Cassi was missing.
"Where's my daughter!!!!!" Noin screamed as she raced towards Kaito and Meg.
"Those guys took her" Kaito said, "Uh meg help"
"MEG WHAT IN THE GOD NAME WERE YOU DOING WERE U THE ONE ACTING LIKE A MANIAC ON THAT ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!" Duo screamed. Meg didn't answer only walk over to her Jag and into the drivers seat and looked at Kaito.
"Get in the car now we're gonna follow that signal if it leads to hell," Meg growled.
"Maxwell control your daughter...where did she get that car anyway," Wufei asked.
"I have no clue," Dr H said. Kaito glared at her for a moment, am never stepping into a car with you again! Are you nuts?!" He shook his head and glanced back over at the adults.
"Hey my driving is not that bad!" Meg said,
"Meg took the drivers ed course 10 times before she actually passed," Duo sighed, "The instructors were calling saying that it would be insane and totally psycho to let her behind the wheel or anything with wheels,"
"Not you too Dad I can drive!!" Meg cried.
"I almost killed!" Kaito said.
"Ah but the point is almost we're both still alive," She said, "As I always say as long as you land it's a good landing no matter how many people are dead or much of the plane you lost."
"Hopeless," Duo said, "I need an aspirin."
"YOU YOUR DAUGHTER GOT MY LITTLE CASSIDY KIDNAPPED I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Noin yelled and started to run after Duo.
"HELP!" Duo screamed. "NO NOT THE BRAID ANYTHING BUT THE BRAID
"Are you sure your dad is all grown up?" Kaito asked.
"Sometimes I wonder if he's even the age he says he is," Meg sighed, "Let's go back to the base and try and find Cass she's our friend and we need to rescue her!!"
back at the base Kaito could hear Meg breaking various things in her room screaming and cursing out load.
"It's no fair i'm going to kill those stupid oz soldiers!!!" She screamed and broke the VCR. "Ahhh now I can't watch my anime video's grrr!!"
"Are you done with your temper tantrum yet?" Kaito asked and Meg opened the door and threw a lamp at him, "Hey watch it!!"
"U know what I will kill you Kaito I swear I will kill you!" Meg cried as she slammed the door.
"Don't worry she'll calm down after a few hours," Duo said as he approached Kaito, "After she breaks everything in her room that is."
"Don't be telling him anything or ill kill you too!" Meg screamed and threw her long Japanese double edged Katana threw the door.
"Uh you might wanna watch your back around the door too," Duo said, "Meg has a bad rep for throwing deadly and sharp objects when she's like this!!"
"GRRRRR!" Meg screamed and the television was thrown threw the window and suddenly shots were heard.
"She's got a gun I thought you took it away!" Duo cried.
"I didn't know she had one!" Kaito yelled as the door was up and a few bullets lodged into the wall.
"I HATE EVERYTHING OZ IS GONNA DIE!!!!!!" Meg screamed and realized she ran out of bullets and growled and screamed and threw the gun to the ground and tossed a few pieces of furniture across the room, "THAT'S JUST GREAT NO MORE BULLETS...OZ IS GOING TO DIE! GRRR YOU STUPID COMPUTER CANT EVEN TRACK A STUPID TRACKING DEVICE!"

With that Duo heard his daughter throw the computer out the window and it almost hit Wufei who was standing down below.
"Why you little hey if your gonna throw stuff throw it somewhere else stupid Onna!" Wufei yelled.
"You gonna do something about it Wu-man come on up here and tell me like a man," Meg screamed in anger.
"Oh yea come down here!" Wulfei yelled.
"Stupid dragon!"
"Stupid onna!"
"Baka Onna!"
"Kistune!"
"Konoyaro!"
"At least I have hair!"
"You call that hair I got more hair on my legs!"
"Why you stupid onna!"
"Baka old man!"

Thus the insults continued to yell for a few more hours until Meg hauled her Katana off the wall and threw it straight at Wufei and he tossed it back and this continued a few more hours. Meanwhile in the OZ base, Cassi had just regained consciousness to find herself locked in a smallish room. She was lying on a small bed up the one corner of the room, with a single chair up the other corner of the room. She groaned and sat up, she felt awful and probably looked it to. She reached up to rub her head, and found her wrists were cuffed with gauntlet cuffs. She frowned, and looked around the room. The door was obviously locked, and even if she could open it she'd be no good without the use of her hands or her gun, which she noticed was missing.
Those OZ brats took it she thought angrily. Just wait till I get my hands on them Swinging her legs so that her feet were on the floor, she rested her arms on her lap.

Leaning forward she felt something hit her top and looking down, she found that she still had the necklace Meg had given her on. Obviously they hadn't figured out that it was a tracking device.
"Good old Meg," she said to herself happily as she rubbed the pendant. Suddenly she realised that her wrist radio was still on her wrist, they must've thought it was a watch or something she figured.
"I wander," she whispered as she managed to shift her fingers and activate the calling button. "Meg, Kaito! Hey, are you guys there?"

Meg was still arguing with Wufei when she heard a cracking sound, but she had no idea where it was coming from till Kaito braved knocking on her bedroom door.
"Meg, it's our wrist radio's," he called. "Cassi's the only one with another one of them." Meg calmed herself down enough to open her bedroom door, and look him in the eye before lifting her wrist and compressing her answering button.
"Cassi?" she asked carefully. "It is you right? Are you ok?"
"Meg," Cassi's voice responded in relief. "Thank goodness, I didn't think my signal would reach you."
"Where are you?" she asked.
"Haven't a clue," Cassi responded. "But i'm locked in somewhere where ever it is."
"We still have your necklace signal despite Meg's her tantrum earlier," Kaito added in. "So just stay put and we'll get there as soon as we can ok."
"Stay put?" she asked incredulously. "The same building yes, the same room, no. And what do you mean tantrum?"
"Never mind," Meg responded. "Just hang tight."
"No problem, hey must go. There's someone outside the door," Cassi told them her voice dropping to a whisper. "Cassi out." That said, Cassi turned her radio off.that your tantrums over can we go an save Cassi?" Kaito asked crossing his arms and leaning on the wall. Meg glared at him for a moment then nodded, we can go now."
"Good," Kaito replied and started to head down the hall towards the cargohold.
"You don't start something that you can't finish Baka Onna!" came a voice suddenly as Wufei came down the hall in a huff.
"Oh great," Kaito muttered, "We don't need one of your fits now old man." Wufei glared at him and looked like he was about to attack the boy.
"All right let's pack some weapons and save her," Meg said and looked around her room. "Hey Kaito you seen my gun?"
"I don't think you wont me to answer that," Kaito responded.
"Fine this will do nicely," Meg said as she hauled her Katana from her wall. "All right let's get some things and head out,"

Kaito and Meg headed down into the hanger where they met Dr. H working on the computer downstairs.
"Where are you two going?" H asked.
"Cassi just contacted us," Meg said, "She's somewhere in the area of Ontario we're going to save her."
"Ontario?" H asked.
"Yeah," Meg said and grabbed some weapons off the racks, "Ah let's go Kaito."

Suddenly Meg stopped as she looked at Deathscyth Angel its arm were off it' body and all it's weaponry were separated from it's armor.
"WHAT THE HELL?" She yelled.
"We haven't finished repairing Deathscyth Angel from your last little mission," H said.
"You wont me to wait?" Kaito asked and looked at Meg.
"No you go on ahead," Meg said and she watched as Kaito took off in his gundam.
in the Ontario OZ base, two of the soldiers from before and the OZ commander Kaizer stepped into the room where Cassi was being held. She sent fierce glares at the two OZ soldiers, who stared back worriedly.
"Don't worry," Kaizer grinned as he looked down his long elegant nose at Cassi. "She's just a little girl, besides she can't hurt you with those cuffs on, can you?"
"Even with my hands restrained I can still do damage," Cassi threatened sending her best death glare at the OZ leader. The tall, young and rather good looking man chuckled and shook his head in disbelief.
"I doubt it, I doubt you could match up to any of your fellow pilots," he told her. "Especially that cute one, Meg isn't it?" Cassi mentally cursed, of course she'd called Meg's name during the last battle. This guy must've been around when she did so. Drat she thought furiously. I am such an idiot.

The OZ leader approached her quietly and knelt down in front of her, looking straight into her shining blue eyes.
"You're one of those pretty pilots aren't you?" he asked. "The pretty little girl who's trying to be tough and fit in."
"I'm not trying to be tough," Cassi countered. "I am tough." Kaizer snorted as he reached up and cupped her chin with his right hand, holding her eyes with his own as he stared at her.
"You're not tough little girl, you're a wannabe." Cassi hated that, she hated being called little and she hated been called anything like a wannabe or a baby or anything else for that matter. Meg and Kaito on the occasion referred to her as such, just because she was the youngest of the three pilots. Sure she knew they were only joking around, stating an obvious fact and that they only did it sometimes, but it still angered her.

Eyes blazing she lashed out with her cuffed hands, and used the metal gauntlets to hit the OZ leader hard in the face. A small trail of blood trickled from his lip in response to the attack, and out of the corner of her eye she saw the two soldiers back up a few steps.
"I am not little, and I am not a wannabe!" she cried. "Say that again, and I won't hesitate to do more to you than just cut your lip."
"Really?" Kaizer grinned as he stood up and wiped the blood away with a black gloved hand. "I'd like to see that. You two, take her to the martial arts combat room. I want to see what this little one can do." Cassi glared at him again, he'd said that to get her even more riled. She so had to learn how to control her temper with this sort of thing.

Both soldiers looked at each other and then at Kaizer wearily, they didn't want to attempt to touch her, not while she was riled up and able to knock seven bells out of them. Gauntlet cuffs or not, she was still dangerous.
"Now," Kaizer ordered sternly. "She won't hurt anyone." Slowly the two approached Cassi and lifted her up by her elbows.
"I can walk by myself," she snapped at them shrugging them off. Both stepped back and just led her down the corridor.
This should be interesting Kaizer thought. True she's only bait and the first part of my plan, but it wouldn't hurt to see what she can do.
