Warning: 5x1, Sap, slight Humor, OOC Wufei and Heero—you don't like, don't read… plotting pilot
Disclaimer: Don't own them, don't sue me—even with a job I'm still freakin' poor.
Notes: I thought I'd do this the right way for once and did some research on the Chinese New Year, just in case any of you wanted to know. It's all true too, none of it is totally made up rubbish—I got it off of Encarta ok! It better damn well be right.

Anyway, The Chinese New Year is actually determined by the Lunar Calendar and the cycle of the new moon which always falls between January 21st and February 19th (starting with the first New Moon of the year and ending 15 days later in the next month.) This Year it just happened to be January 22nd—the Year of the Monkey. (don't ask me why I just NOW decide to do something like this—it would have been way cooler if it was the Year of the Dragon^_~ unfortunately, that was 4 years ago.-_-0) The Chinese New year is the most important and longest holiday celebrated by the Chinese, lasting about 2 weeks, it is also known as The Spring Festival.

For the New Year families will clean their houses (spring cleaning), which is seen as symbolically removing misfortunes and bad luck that might haunt the family and their new year. Re-painting the red trimming on homes and decorating with flowers is also a tradition done for the New Year. On New Year's Eve, the family will get together to join in a great feast consisting of a variety of sea food dishes and dumplings. Each dish serves also has a specific meaning behind it: `good luck' and `prosperity' are two of the most important.

At midnight, everyone lights fireworks—this is actually done for a specific reason, not just for enjoyment. It is believed to drive off the evil sprits that may haunt a home, etc. and attract the much-wanted attention of the benevolent gods above. These displays of tradition usually last until dawn.

On New Year's Day, gifts are given in little red packets to families and friends and business acquaintances in the form of small money called hung-pao or lay-shee.

During the holiday there is one celebration which is considered one of the greatest. It is the Dragon and Lion Dances, where as many as 50 people supporting a paper dragon or lion will dance in a procession down the city streets, followed by other such performers. Ending the celebrations is the Lantern Festival in which merchants and homes place colorful paper lanterns outside their doors, and children run up and down the streets waving different shaped and sized lanterns to bring the old year to an end the New Year to a—hopefully—prosperous beginning.

So, there ya have it folks—that's just the basics of it, I'm sure, but it was good enough for me, so deal with it! Also, if you didn't know what the animals for the Chinese Zodiac were, here they are:

In sequential order: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Hare(Rabbit), Dragon, Serpent(Snake), Horse, Ram(Goat), Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Boar(Pig).

~Happy New Years Wufei~

Wufei was miserable.

That seemed to be the topic of the day as he uncharacteristically moped around the house the five pilots were occupying for the time being. Everyone had noticed the drastic mood change in the young Chinese pilot right away, which didn't help matters much, considering Duo was having a field day with this one. Wufei couldn't get the idiot off his back for five seconds—the braided baka wanting to know what was so terribly wrong with him.

Of course Wufei refused to say a word of it, knowing it would only cause him more trouble, so here he was, dragging his feet down another uselessly long hall in some nether section of the house—away from Duo… and everyone else. He understood they were worried and were just trying to be considerate of his feelings, but he just didn't want them to know—it was pointless anyway.

Sighing, Wufei rounded another corner, not knowing where it lead to or really caring for that matter—what was the point?

* . * . * . *

Heero watched as Wufei wandered off down another long-forgotten hallway in the giant house they were sharing; this was getting ridiculous. Why was Wufei acting so strange, what was it that was bothering him so damn much!? Heero growled and stalked off to his room, determined to find out what was eating away at the Shenlong pilot.

Looking back over his shoulder, Heero pondered his feelings over for the only other oriental pilot. Why was he doing this, he didn't really care for Wufei… did he? Heero scoffed at the idea and smacked himself mentally—of course he didn't! He was just doing this for the welfare of his and the other pilot's safety and their performance in the war… yeah, that was it.

Well, for any reason, he had to find out the problems Wufei was facing, so, like any good little Perfect Soldier would do, he turned to his trusty laptop and superior hacking abilities until he found the exact, if not surprising reason behind the Shenlong Pilot's depression.

Chinese New Year.

Immediately Heero's heart sank. No wonder Wufei was so depressed; out of every celebration and festivity in the Chinese culture, Chinese New Year was the most important holiday. And without his family… it must have been even harder. Heero distantly remembered the way Wufei was acting on the American New Year, and could recall the Chinese man acting quite the same way, but everyone was too distracted with the festivities to notice then.

Heero frowned, he couldn't quite compare to Wufei in the sense of understanding, but he could tell that this was a very important issue with the dark young man; how Wufei must be feeling, being torn away from his family and heritage, thrown into a war where these sorts of things weren't exactly regarded as a necessity or object of import.

Well, perhaps Heero could do something for his fellow pilot and… friend? Frowning again, Heero contemplated the thought, realizing that the reason behind wanting to find out more of Wufei's strange behavior and helping him feel more alive was indeed because he thought of the Chinese pilot as a friend… maybe more. Blushing slightly, Heero shook the rogue thought from his mind and went about preparing for this new mission, after all, he wasn't the Perfect Soldier for nothing, and everything had to be perfect for his plans tonight—it was only Chinese New Year's Eve, and that was probably the most important part of the holiday, so Heero would have to work quickly if he wanted everything to go smoothly and, well, perfectly.

* . * . * . *

`knock, knock, knock' “Wufei…? Are you hungry… dinner is almost ready….” A muffled `no', from behind the door was the only reply Quatre received to his question. Frowning, the little blonde was turning to head back down the hall when he spotted Heero emerging from his room, looking like he had a date on the town tonight.

Putting aside his traditional green tank top, a light, see through button up, mandarin style shirt covered Heero's torso now; the long clothing, made in a dark red with gold flower blossoms flowing across the front and back of it giving the wearer a more exotic look. Heero also put aside his black spandex for a pair of loose, flowing silken pants, shimmering a soft cream color in the light. Underneath it all, if you looked close enough, you could see a pair of white slippers covering his usually booted feet.

Quatre blinked back his shock and cleared his throat, a broad smile forming on his soft pink lips. Heero jumped slightly, not expecting anyone to be behind him; he covered up his shock quickly with a more neutral face, glaring at Quatre in question. Quatre just continued to grin at the poor boy though, and it was starting to make Heero a little nervous.

“What?” Heero stated gruffly. Quatre shook his head, still smiling and walked up to Heero,

“Oh, it's nothing, you just look really nice tonight Heero—are you going on a date with someone…?” The gleam in Quatre's eyes, were suggesting more—a lot more, forcing Heero to wonder if this `mission' was such a good idea after all. Heero just raised one elegant eyebrow and slowly backed away from Quatre, towards Wufei's room, shaking his head softly and murmuring,

“No, I just… it's for a mission. I just received a mission report from J and this is my disguise.” The look on Quatre's face clearly showed that he knew Heero was lying, but he stayed quiet anyhow, nodding his head slowly and turning away to walk back down the stairs.

“Ok, Heero, whatever you say…” and with that, he disappeared down the long staircase, leaving Heero to mentally berate himself for his clumsiness and stupidity. Just when Heero was about ready to go back to his room, lock himself inside and forget the whole ridiculous thing, a door opened up behind him, causing him to spin around in shock, finding equally shocked eyes of the deepest obsidian staring back into his own prussian orbs. Heero swallowed, feeling a faint flush glowing on his cheeks and finding himself growing nervous under Wufei's intense gaze.

Heero began to fidget with his new clothing, looking down when Wufei continued to stare at him. Wufei only raised a confused eyebrow at the usually stoic boy before him and cleared his throat, bringing them both out of their trances. Heero looked up, taking in a deep breath as he looked Wufei in his eyes. Staring back Wufei felt the irritation boiling up and just about bit Heero's head off when he snapped at the Asian boy.

“What is it you want Yuy? Are you just going to stand there all night and stare, or do you have something to say?” Heero blinked back his shock and steeled up his nerves, not wanting to get upset at Wufei and determined to see this thing through. Heero straitened up and stared Wufei square in the eyes and said,

“I heard there was a festival of sorts in town tonight and was wondering if you'd like to join me…. I thought it might do you some good to get out of the house after being locked up in here for so long.” That had to be the longest sentence and the most words Heero had ever spoken at one point in time, shocking Wufei into a near state of dumb numbness, then there was the fact that Heero actually wanted to go out—to a festival no less, and THEN the Japanese boy was asking him—Wufei to go with him! This had to be the enemies doing; it must be a trick of sorts, or a test from one of the Doctors.

Wufei looked over Heero and glanced around the hallway, checking for anything else suspicious in site, but there was… nothing.

“Alright, Yuy, what's the game?” the look he received from Heero explained clearly that there was none and Wufei must have been insane. Wufei huffed and turned to go back into his room once more, glancing over his shoulder at Heero before he locked himself away inside his room again.

“Nothing, it's… nothing—I just assumed… oh, never mind….” Heero turned to walk back into his room, a sly smile forming on his lips as he turned his back to Wufei, who had stopped and turned back around, wanting to know now, what Heero really had been about to say and do. Wufei's eyes narrowed—he wasn't going to be dismissed that easily!

“No, Yuy, what were you going to say? I want to know—tell me!” Heero just slowly turned back around casually, as if he had never said a word, an innocent expression forming on his usually stern countenance. Heero blinked and shook his head, replying,

“I don't know… it's not important now… now that you don't want to go. You're really the only one I can tolerate… I just thought I'd ask….” Turning away once more, Heero was stopped abruptly by a strong hand on his shoulder and a low growl. Looking back, Heero saw the stubborn, child-like curiosity in Wufei's dark eyes and fought hard to hold back a smile. Stamping his foot Wufei spun on his heel, entering his room quickly, but calling over his shoulder gruffly,

“Damn it, I'll go with you, but only because you forced me to!” Heero raised an eyebrow at that, snorting softly at Wufei's stubbornness… at least his plan worked….

Reemerging from his room once more, this time re-clothed in new dress garments of his origin, Wufei stomped up to Heero and glared at the Japanese man, obviously waiting for Heero to get moving so they could get this over with. Heero just smirked, giving a once over of his new companion and nodded mentally as he made his way down the hall to the stairs' landing, Wufei following close behind.

When they made it to the bottom of the stairs, Heero began to wonder if it was such a good idea to dress as… provocatively as he had because every eye in the room was on him when they appeared. Heero was just about ready to turn and run when he heard a low growl from behind him and strong hand on his shoulder pushing him towards the door. Everyone just continued to stare as the two young men left the house, slamming door shut behind them on their way out.

Outside, Heero just stared at Wufei, eyes wide, surprised at the dark-haired man's forcefulness when just moments ago he refused to even leave his room deep within the house. Turning away, to walk down the steps, Wufei grumbled out,

“I didn't like the way they were looking at you is all… sorry……” Heero blinked in shock, so… Wufei must have felt something for him after all. Heero mentally grinned at his luck and followed Wufei down the steps, leading the way down the dirt road and to the side-walk along the street, soon to arrive at their destination.

* . * . * . *

“So, where are we going… if you don't mind my asking?” The two Gundam pilots had been walking along in companionable silence for a half hour or so, when Wufei decided to break the silence, curious as to where Heero of all people could be taking him. Heero just hummed his answer and a small, rare smile formed on his lips as his eyes lit up suddenly. Wufei frowned, confused as to Heero's odd behavior and looked back ahead of them at what Heero was staring at and stopped.

Wufei could barely stand on his own two legs as the full weight and reasoning behind Heero's odd behavior became quite apparent; before them both stood a town, illuminated by bright lights and loud cheers—children running up and down the streets and adults, young and old enjoying their time in a loud celebration of joy and passion. Before them stood the colony's China Town.

Wufei couldn't think straight or hardly breathe; he was so overwhelmed with emotion. Heero just stood and watched, kindly keeping silent and respectful to Wufei's battered feelings. He was right, this was what Wufei needed even if it wasn't his home or traditional way of celebrating.

After staring for a long while, Wufei finally snapped out of it and glanced over at Heero, staring at the Japanese man in open shock. Not wanting to appear week before the other pilot, Wufei merely nodded his head, smiling softly at Heero as he slowly made his way towards the happy town before them, Heero following close behind.

* . * . * . *

All throughout the night, Wufei had been overjoyed, thrilled that he could finally have a part of home near to his heart once more, even if it was only for a short while and it wasn't truly his home. Heero watched as Wufei took in everything and laughed as if he were a child again. Wufei was truly happy here, away from the war, and stress of being a proud warrior or emotionless killer. Heero envied Wufei, wishing he had some sort of link to an ulterior life, like the other's did… but he could remember nothing of his childhood, except the constant traveling and training he lived under with Odin and then Doctor J. But seeing Wufei this happy and carefree was good enough for him—it meant that he had done his job correctly and he could sleep peacefully tonight knowing he had ended one person's unhappiness with his blood-stained hands for a short while at least.

As the night wore on, closing near to midnight, Heero and Wufei had found a solitary and serene lake in the center of the town and decided to stay there for a short while, just basking in the eerie calm of the night, crickets chirping and the night-birds singing their songs happily, as if they knew of the joys the humans below them celebrated now. Because there was no moon this night, it was dark all around the two young men, but somehow the stars shone more bright and beautiful than usual—or more precisely, the colony's meteorological control had set the artificial moon-less and starry night sky to overdrive, so some people would still be able to see at night, even without the illumination of the `moon'.

All the same though, Wufei was happy and Heero was content to share his partner's joy on Chinese New Year's Eve. Suddenly loud shouts broke their silence and bright colorful fireworks lit up the sky in a show of dazzling special effects. It was midnight, Chinese New Year's Day—the Year of the Monkey had begun.

After sitting for a short while, watching the marvelous fireworks display, Wufei stood, sighing softly as he stretched his stiff limbs. Heero slowly followed suit, and moved up behind Wufei as he started off, back down the hill and towards their current `safe-house'. Heero wanted to ask why Wufei didn't stay, or if he had enjoyed the night, or if he was going to be alright now, or—too many questions plagued his restless mind and Heero just forced them all down, telling himself he had to wait, for Wufei to make the first move and first choice.

* . * . * . *

When they arrived back at the house, Heero was glad everyone had gone to bed, he didn't want to be bothered with countless questions, and he was sure Wufei didn't want to be either. As they silently made their way up the stairs, Heero suddenly began to feel nervous and started fidgeting with his lovely clothing again. No, ok, he wanted this, he did… he just didn't know if Wufei would…. Stopping before Heero's bedroom door, Wufei bowed deeply before the other Asian man and whispered,

“Xiexie ni, Heero.[1] I cannot express how much I am grateful for your… gift.” Straightening up once more, Wufei's eyes met with Heero's and they stared into each other's souls for a long while, until Heero finally spoke up, breaking the entrancing reverie.

“I… uhh, I have one more… gift to give you, fist….” Wufei arched one dark eyebrow at that, but nodded and followed Heero into his room when the said man turned and entered the dark bedroom. Turning on the lights, Heero motioned to his bed whispering,

“Please, sit, I'll be out in a moment…” and promptly entered the adjoining washroom, closing the door behind him quickly. Wufei just stood there for a moment, staring at the closed door Heero had gone through, but shook his head and sat down on the bed just as Heero had instructed. Wufei didn't have to wait long for Heero, as the young man emerged from the small room he had locked himself in only moments later, but this time looking far more… exposed than he had ever seen the stoic Japanese pilot before.

Wufei had to fight to keep his jaw from dropping to the ground as any memories of the Heero he knew took a flying leap out the window and were replaced with images of this new one, slowly sauntering up to him in nothing but a small—very small, silk robe that left nothing to the imagination. Wufei slowly started forming very naughty images in his mind, of a certain writhing, moaning, panting Japanese pilot beneath him as he fucked the boy wild… WHOA! Where had that thought come from?! Clearly from this new, very naughty Heero before him, he must have been dreaming, this couldn't have been real, could it? Oh yes it could, and that thought was made very clear when Heero opened himself up to Wufei—quit literally—removing the one small article of clothing hiding his perfect body from the world to see.

Wufei's eyes practically bugged out of his head and would have fallen out, he was sure, if he hadn't blinked to clear his torturous eye sight, only to be given the same image again. Wufei thought he was feeling a nose bleed coming along when Heero suddenly spoke up, shy and uncertain, two things Heero was most definitely not.

“Happy New Year Wufei… I-I hope you liked your gifts….” Blushing softly, Heero turned his head away, not quite sure what to do or how to act in this kind of situation, so he just settled for standing there, trying to cover himself up and using all his will power to keep from running and hiding somewhere far away from the man before him. Wufei could only continue to stare, blinking at the gorgeous image painted before him; never in his wildest dreams had ever thought this one would come true… but by some twisted form of fate it was and now he had the power to make it happen.

Slowly, unsure of how he was supposed to do this, Wufei reached out and gently brushed his hand down Heero's side, causing the said boy to jump slightly, not expecting the touch. Wufei pulled back quickly, as if he had been burned, but looked up into Heero's dark prussian blue eyes, which stared back down him curiously and frightened.

Wufei realized that he would have to show Heero that everything was ok and that he was very happy with his New Year's gifts, since it seemed Heero was completely innocent to these kinds of acts. Smiling softly, Wufei reached up and wound his fingers into Heero's untamed locks of hair, pulling the boy down into a strong passionate kiss, startling the boy, but soon Heero found he liked the kiss and fought back.

Both boys fought for dominance of the kiss, Heero finally finding he had hands again and moved to tangle his own within Wufei's bound black silken hair. Pulling the band from Wufei's hair, Heero wove his fingers through it, finding Wufei seemed to like that a lot when a loud moan erupted from his lips. Heero grinned into the kiss but gasped when Wufei found one his nipples and pinched it, playing with the soft nub until it was hard.

Wufei took advantage of the open mouth above him and thrust his tongue deep inside the wet orifice, tasting the boy and reveling in it. Heero moan and started to lean heavily upon Wufei as his mouth was invaded by a foreign object, but he liked it and let it take control, giving up this once, liking the feel of being dominated in such a way. Wufei felt Heero's release of his power and took immediate advantage of it, wrapping his one arm that wasn't tangled in Heero's mass of hair behind the boy's back pulling him down and twisting around `till Heero was laying on the bed, facing up with Wufei still ravaging his mouth like a starving man who had just been given food after a month.

Gasping in shock at the sudden change in situation, Heero stared up Wufei, out of breath and already wanting more, waiting for whatever would come next. Wufei pulled away from the kiss long enough to stare down into those dark, lust-filled orbs of the darkest blue and smiled softly once more, nuzzling Heero's long corded neck lovingly. Moaning Heero threw his head back, liking the feel of that and wanting more. Not wanting to disappoint his new lover, Wufei chuckled at Heero's innocent eagerness and continued to lick and nip his way across Heero's neck and shoulder to the other side, then slowly made his way down Heero's powerful chest, stopping to lavish his attention on each dusky nipple then continuing his way down to the small, little belly button that lay perfectly in the center of Heero's taut abdomen.

Loving the rich, deep sounds coming from Heero, Wufei nuzzled the small button in the center of Heero's stomach then decided he wanted more, making his way further down Heero's abdomen to the center of all his pleasure. Smiling up at Heero, who gazed down at him dazedly, Wufei slowly reached out with his tongue and licked the tip of Heero's aching cock, never taking his eyes off Heero's face as it contorted into a picture of pleasure, even from such a small and simple touch… hmm, what would it do if he really embraced Heero the way he wanted? Well, only one way to find out.

Without second though, Wufei completely engulfed Heero's large manhood within his skilled mouth and proceeded to pleasure Heero beyond any sane thought, swirling his tongue around the tip of Heero's enflamed cock and suckling on it like some child would a large lollipop. The look of pure ecstasy that came over Heero's face was enough to make any straight man turn gay as Wufei moaned around the large piece of flesh that came alive within his mouth. Realizing he didn't want Heero to find release just yet, Wufei reluctantly pulled away, causing Heero to cry out in pain, but his tears soon vanished when Wufei placed his hands back upon Heero's perfect body while trying to remove his clothing at the same time.

When Wufei was finally freed of any and all barriers, he lay his shaking body atop Heero's own, sweating form and instantly the panting boy clung to him, bucking his hips up to meet Wufei's own, causing the said man to roll his eyes back in his head and moan loudly. Forcing Heero to lay still, Wufei turned around and rummaged through the nightstand drawer, not finding anything he could use until he came across a small bottle of lotion; deeming that good enough to use, Wufei positioned himself back in from of Heero who looked like he had eaten way too much sugar, with his eyes completely dilated and large, staring down at Wufei's body and touching it like some very interesting play-toy. It seemed Heero still was a virgin and had never experienced something like this before. Wufei was glad and honored that he got to be Heero's first and he would make it count.

So Wufei poured the lotion over his fingers liberally, and placed them at Heero's secret entrance, slowly pushing one finger in, unwilling to injure Heero for his first time, though, that action seemed to snap Heero out of his daze and he squeezed his eyes shut and hissed out in pain at the intrusion. Wufei leaned down over Heero, cooing softly in his ears, whispering sweet nothings to calm the tense boy, while he massaged Heero's thigh with his free hand and continued to stretch Heero with his other, adding another finger after a short while.

Eventually Heero got the idea that if he relaxed it hurt less and soon he was ready to take Wufei, watching as the said man lubed his impressive manhood, to lessen the pain as much as possible for Heero. Positioning himself before Heero's entrance, Wufei stared down into Heero's shimmering orbs, asking silently for permission. Heero nodded slowly, swallowing hard, but Wufei ran his fingers back through Heero's sweat soaked hair and shushed him softly, kissing the boy on his forehead, then slowly pushed his aching cock pass the tight ring of muscles and all the way to the hilt in one smooth motion, causing Heero to throw his head back in a silent cry of pleasure and pain.

Wufei stayed still, though it was difficult with the torturous, tight heat surrounding him, but he didn't move until Heero slowly began to rock his hips back against Wufei's own, only then did he move, pulling his long, thick shaft almost completely out of Heero's quivering body then thrusting back in once more.

Wufei continued the slow deep pace until Heero eventually caught on and started to thrust his hips down to meet Wufei thrust for thrust, and their pace quickened until they had found themselves completely laying on the bed and Heero was screaming Wufei's name over and over, gripping at his hair, tossing his head from side-to-side, lost in the pure pleasure of their love-making. Eventually Heero could feel his orgasm approaching and clenched his muscle walls around Wufei's cock, coming hard and long, almost blacking out from the intensity of his first orgasm. Wufei nearly collapsed atop Heero when he felt the boy's body clenching around his own and his seed spilling over both their chests and stomachs, sending Wufei into his own mid-blowing orgasm as well.

Panting heavily, both boys stay as they were, limbs entangles in a lover's embrace, both too tired to even think of moving… but one thought crossed Wufei's mind as he felt himself drifting off to sleep, held within his new lover's arms—this is the best New Year's I've ever had….

[1] Xiexie ni—it means thank you in Chinese.

And I just want to point out that *copies and pasts* `uncharacteristically' is one fucking long-ass word to write!
