How they formed Chapter 2: Job Explanation

It was a good thing Heero liked to wake up early, because if he didn't, the both of them would've been late for the park. Now they were sitting at one of the crowded benches, and looking at other people do the same.

"You think there will be some announcer guy to explain this to us," Duo tried to whisper, but it was obvious others could still hear him.

"Yeah, but let's just look at the competition while we wait for them," the Japanese boy said back to him. Like suggested, both boys looked around and saw there were plenty of people who looked hard to beat.

"Hey, that's that Chinese boy I bumped into yesterday," the braded boy said finding…said Chinese person. And this said boy had spotted him too.

"Damn, how'd I know that idiot would be here," he whispered/asked himself. Either way he shook it off, and assumed he would be able to beat the boy easily, but he soon saw the other boy next to him on the bench. The both of them looked like friends, and would most likely be working together. Yes, the Prussian eyed boy looked very hard to beat.

Then he looked towards another boy who looked hard to beat, and it with Duo and Heero. The three of them looked towards the tall lithe figure with amazingly gravity defying hair.

/They're staring at me…/ Trowa began to think frustrated. No matter what he did, women or gay men looked at him. God he hated his good looks. Not that he couldn't find others around there that weren't just as good looking, but the stares always went back to him. Damn testosterone!

/That tall boy is kinda cute…what am I thinking!?! I'm not gay, / a certain blonde (gay) boy said looking around. He hadn't really been around people much, but he knew better than to just talk to anyone about anything. He also had the special gift of a space heart, which is reason for him staying home. All these people hurt his damn heart.

It was five minutes past twelve, but everyone just stayed thinking the person who asked for their help was just late. Then fifteen minutes passed. Then thirty, forty, and then a full hour had passed. It was now two, and a couple of people had left thinking the poster was a fake practical joke.

Duo would have left, but Heero had convinced him to just stay, and only leave if there were ten or less people still waiting. There were still fifty people there, so they waited patiently.

Trowa had thought of leaving, but realized that if he went back he would have to clean the lion's cages. This was his only excuse to miss that, so he stayed waiting. Wufei figured it was a clever trick, and the person who was in charge of this was just getting rid of the ones that wouldn't be good detectives.

Quatre on the other hand, had fallen asleep, but woke up every so often to make sure he wasn't missing a thing. (I had to bash someone.) It was not until it was five, did they see security guards come up, and surround them. Blocking anyone else from entering, and then, a woman with blue hair, cut with long bangs in the front, came up and with a microphone, explained.

"I am Lucrezia Noin. I will be the one to inform you of the longhaired thief mystery. As this person's title, he is a thief, and a very clever one at that. He has tried to kidnap, and steal a few things from my factory, Swans Inc., but has failed so far. I need a detective to solve this, but I find that most are far away from here. So I have come to ask the help of all of you. You are allowed passes to go through every room within my company building. You can also go in there whenever you want. First to solve the mystery to where he is, why he wants to steal from my company, who he is, and captures him, gets fifty thousand dollars. Let the contest begin."

With that explanation everyone who had stayed waiting patiently, was handed passes from the security guards, and saw some of the people who had left before trying to get through. Obviously it was a trick to get those who easily quit out.

"So, should we start the investigation now? Or tomorrow," Duo asked his partner in mystery solving.

"Baka, right now. If we wait until tomorrow someone else may be ahead of us and get that reward too," Heero answered back. The two of them then started to walk towards Swans Inc. and saw others were doing the same. Apparently every place in that building would have someone trying to find clues. This was going to be hard.

What do you think? The next chapter they meet. There are going to be trapped doors, rooms and other stuff. Like in the cartoon Scooby Doo!! Anyway…let me write the third chapter now.
