Duo ran outside into the bliss of night darkness with tear filled eyes. Taking a path into the forest he made a sharp turn and down another path away from the safe house. All he wanted was to get away from that damned place. Why, why did they have to say it? Mainly in front of him! Duo continued to run, until he realized before it was too late... that he was at the edge of a cliff.

Once realized where he was he took a half step and fell into the waters death below. Good, now I don't have to see his angry eyes at me. At least no one will miss me. No one... Duo flipped so he was going to hit head first into the waters death, he closed his eyes hoping that it would be painless. But also not realizing that he had a follower.

Heero chased after Duo at top speed. (Do I need to say how fast he can run? Nope, didn't think so!) What's wrong with him? He didn't let me explain. I feel the same way he does. Hell, I'll give my life for him. If something ever happen to him, o god, lets not think there. Heero made the turn almost on Duo's heels and chased after him deeper into the forest.

Once he came to the cliff clearing he looked around using quick glances and finally saw an arm go over the side. "DUO!!" He yelled as he reached out to grab his arm, but... missing only by an inch. No, no, no, no, no, no. "NOOO, DUO!!!" With out a second though he jumped.

Duo crashed into the water first followed by Heero. Zero's pilot opened his eyes and looked around under the salty waters blue gleam. Seeing a figure sink down further and further, down to the sandy death where a sand shark could be waiting. Heero, without thinking first swam towards the figure. Snaking an arm around his waist he stared to the surface.

Breaking the waters end where it meets air he gasped for air as he felt Duo choke up some water. The boy slowly opened his eyes and saw Heero, now standing in Shallow water holding him. (he swam, okay, so it's late I don't feel like writing that. Lets get the juicy part faster! Lol) Duo finally figuring out that he could move, slapped Heero away, leaving a mark.

Duo started to run away when he was pulled into a set of strong arms. At first struggling to get away when Heero laid his forehead down on Duo's shoulder, he stopped. "Don't you ever scare me like that again." Heero removed his arms as Duo spun on his heels to look at Heero when he did his lips touched Hero's. "Don't you ever do that again. You do and I might not be able to-" Heero stopped in mid sentence and looked at Duo.

"Heero, I understand if you don't ever want anything to do with me but that doesn't mean faking that you like me." Heero put on a hurt look.

"Do I joke?" Duo remained silent. "Didn't think so. So I wanted to tell you that..."

I swear,

Duo was taken aback after he said those words. "Do you mean it?"

Heero nodded and smiled a real smile. "Wow! Not every day you see one of those!"

Heero only giggled inwardly as he wrapped his arms around Duo and kissed him on his head. "I mean every word of it." Duo smiled as he gently pressed his lips onto Hero's. After a few moments Heero broke the kiss and hugged Duo tightly. "Promise me that you'll never pull something like that again. You scared the living hell and heaven outta' me and the same time." Duo nodded and returned his hug.

Duo finally broke the hug and kissed Heero catching him off guard and them falling forward (duo backwards,... duhh.) crashed into the water. Heero closed his eyes as he tangled his fingers into Duo's long locks of hair as the longhaired pilot wrapped his arms around his lover.

Finally everything was at peace. The war had ended and now they found love... but are the wars over or will a new threat appear? None seeing a gunman sitting on top of the cliff.
