He sighed looking at the photo album he had ever since he was a young boy. Actually the pictures inside of it were filled of his childhood memories. Many memories up until the day he had lost his father and became a true blue Gundam pilot. He flipped through several pictures most of them contained his sisters that were closer to his age some consisted of his much older sisters. He couldn't help but smile a little bit when he found a picture of him and his sisters were playing a prank on their father. Of course the man had been furious to find that he was covered in orange paint but it had been quickly forgotten when he tackled his younger children to cover them as well.

"Hey, Q-man, what are you up to?" The voice of Duo Maxwell reached the blonde's ears. Quatre turned from his spot in the attic to look at the boy with the braid and smiled a welcoming smile. He had insisted that all five of the boys come live with him after the war since it would be lonely, despite the Maguanacs around, with his sisters still scattered about living their own lives. Since peace had begun four years had already passed and they were all now in college classes finding their place in their future careers since it was highly doubtful that ex Gundam piloting on their résumés could get them any job. He was grateful when they had left the lives they had started to set up to come stay at his home, although he couldn't help but feel guilty to tear them away from the important girls in their lives. (But he had noticed they hadn't protested when they had)

"I originally had come up here to find some pictures for my sister so she can show her children what she had been like at their age. But after finding this old photo album I got carried away with looking at these memories." He said as Duo pulled up a dusty chair to sit next to the boy.

"Carried away with memories, huh? Any skeletons in the closet you wouldn't mind sharing?"

"I guess not." Quatre said quickly turning the page. He scanned over several pictures and was ready to turn the page when Duo pointed out a picture.

"Are those three part of your huge sister collection?" Duo asked pointing at a picture of Quatre approximately around the age of eight years old sitting at a table snacking with three girls each had a particular look to them that could have one easily guess what their personality could be like. The one girl on the right of Quatre looked like a peace keeper of sort. She had light brown hair and bright peaceful blue eyes and a smile that would light up the darkest rooms. The girl on the left looked like the genius of the three, she had long black hair that was pulled into a braid and she had brilliant green eyes that held much innocence and wisdom in their depths. Then finally there was the girl across from Quatre; she had mean look to her. Her face had been scrunched up almost as if in a permanent scowl, kind of like a certain Chinese boy he knew, and her short black hair had been spiked up except for a few pieces in her chocolate eyes that served as her bangs.

"You're talking about those three girls?" Quatre finally asked sucking on his lower lip looking at the picture. He closed his eyes remembering vividly a day when he left behind the three girls afraid of what he'd found out about them. "No, they were once my best friends…" Quatre said almost sadly as he closed the book. "Hey Duo, Take this photo album to Abdul so he can take it to Iria…" Quatre handed Duo a completely different photo album. "I'll be down in a few minutes."

"Sure…" Duo grabbed the book and headed for the stairs leading back down to the library. Once Duo was completely gone from the area he opened the photo album once more. He looked at the picture of him and the three girls and for some reason he felt a great feeling of pain well up inside of him. HE closed the album again before knocking over something. "I haven't seen this in years." He thought while slowly he reached a hand up to his right shoulder and held it there as the memory played like a movie in his mind… It was his fourteenth birthday and the three girls had just surprised him with a birthday gift one that Ayumi herself had created…A miniature robotic tiger.

"What's going on? What are we running from?" Quatre asked just before a searing pain came from his right shoulder.

"Quatre…" The genius of the three girls sucked on her lower lip as she looked at the wound in his shoulder… it was nothing more than a graze. The fourteen year old then realized he would be fine and glared at the being that hurt him. She looked up and saw a man with a crossbow in his hands. "You nearly killed him!!!" She yelled still holding on to Quatre.

"Can I hit him now, Tora?" The mean looking one spoke cracking her knuckles.

"And that will achieve what exactly?" The tall man spoke. "You're angry and the smell of blood has filled the air my young leeches…"

"He's right… The peace keeping one said.

"It doesn't matter your friend will find out what you three are anyway..." The man spoke. "He will learn that your kind really does exist… Vampires are more than just the widely known creatures of the night. He will know that blood gives you the energy to live, and with rage, which obviously had to be a rarity with her because even the other two girls backed away in fear. he will know that one day you three will turn your attention to the warm blood flowing through his veins." The man said making the genius purely angry

"I have tried to be patient with you; I have led you on trails which were wrong Mr. Hunter." She looked at him with anger that made her cry tears of red. She approached him as he backed up nearing a tree behind him. "All my friends and I want to do is live normal lives."
"
Normallives? Vampire girls don't live normal lives…They feed and kill till no end."

"Is that a fact?" She asked as more tears bled down her face. He raised his weapon to her again but she smacked it out of his hands bearing her fangs. "Then I guess I should start the feeding and killing with you!" She went to lung at him but she fell flat on her face. She growled in anger and annoyance while apparently retracting her fangs. She stayed that way before crying

"Are you okay now, Ayumi?" The voice of the violent looking girl came out gentle.

"I'm sorry." She whimpered. Keeping her face towards the ground as sobs racked her body. The Hunter then took this moment to reach for his weapon that had been discarded before only to find it gone. He went to ask where it was but everyone saw Quatre holding the crossbow.

"What's going on?" He demanded fearing what he had just heard was nonsense. By the looks on everyone's faces it wasn't.

"Good Job, dear boy…" The hunter got up hoping Quatre was on his side but the boy quickly turned the weapon on the man. Quatre sent a glance in the girl's way and the three of them looked at him before taking off. Ayumi lingered a moment longer allowing a final glance before they took off.

"It was for the best I suppose." He went downstairs just missing Abdul's departure. A sigh escaped his lips as he sat down on the couch. He glanced at Heero who was currently reading the newspaper. On the front page in the lower right hand corner was a picture of a man… A man with black hair and piercing blue eyes… a face he could never forget… it was the face of the man with the crossbow. He was now dead…
