Chapter 3

"Okay so then you take the screw and you give it a twist like this…" Gadget said pointing out the screw from the inside of one her gadgets. "And that's all…" Ayumi/ Gadget sighed. "Let's go find a burger place to eat."

"Do you really think I'll remember all of this?" Tsuki asked her friend.

"Not really, but it's just that I'm gonna start needing help back here…"

"So pick someone from the mechanics classes. They have to do like one hundred and eighty hours of field work."

"You want me to pick a mechanic?" Gadget asked taking off her work smock and removed her goggles ignoring the lines she had from them. "Sure let me do that and have them staring at my bottom all day."

"Last I heard Duo's in the mechanics class." Tora said putting her hair back into the low ponytail she kept it in.

"Duo's always here with broken things… if he could fix it don't you think he would?"

"He probably does it to see your face everyday." Tsuki teased fluttering her eyelashes at the genius. "Wasn't he the one who said 'Anything for you… and I mean anything.'?"

"He was teasing… besides he hits on you too Tsuki."

"Yeah but he's never once offered to fix my 'lonely' problems."

"What are you talking about?" Gadget asked for once confused in her life.

"You missed it." Tora said. "You had to be there to see it. But back to why we got on him in the first place you should really consider talking to the Mechanics professor about that though. They're learning how to work with tools and screws and such. They'll probably recognize a lot of the parts and whatever you use not to mention with Duo he can fix that Trowa guy's motorcycle when he manages to mess it up again." The three girls sighed.

"But back to Duo." Tsuki said. "You know you want him like that. You look at him with the look that says 'I wanna ravish you right here right now.' "

"I do not!"

"Yeah you do… though really I don't think he'd mind it all the much if you did too." Tora smirked at the girl who was now trying to find something interesting to look at to hide her embarrassment.

"I really wouldn't mind a good ravishing. Which one of you three ladies will be the lucky gal to do it?" The voice of Duo Maxwell joined the conversation.

"What makes you think we're talking about ravishing you, eh, Mr. Maxwell?"

"Let's see I heard my name then something about 'I wanna ravish you right here, right now.'" Duo said before slinging his arm around Ayumi. "It's you who wants to ravish the braid man; I knew you were a bit kinky, Gadget." He said making her roll her eyes.

"Not really, I kinda need an assistant since work has blossomed quite well. Your name came up… then we moved onto the subject of who we want to ravish… take advantage of."

"So you do want me…" Duo asked not once removing his arm.

"Leave the onna alone Maxwell." A voice made them all stop and turn around

"Oh come on Wu-man, you haven't gotten a good look at her." Duo grasped Ayumi's shoulders and placed her in front of him. "I mean really take a nice long look at her and tell me you don't think she's hott."

"I won't waste my time on the onna."

"Who's your friend without manners, Duo?" Tora asked cracking her knuckles. Duo kinda shied away from the female.

"That's Wufei Chang… Wufei meet Tora Yamazaki." He said watching Wufei roll his eyes at the girl… soon they were bugging out of his head as her fist collided with his stomach.

"Hello, Wufei, It's a pleasure to finally meet you." She said with her voice with a too sugary sweet covering to it.

"Don't worry Wu-man she did the same to me when we were introduced." Duo said to the guy on the ground grasping his gut. "Anyway back to the introductions. Ayumi Tanaka, Tsuki Hanyao I want you to meet Wufei Chang. My favorite torture buddy…"

"He'd be my favorite torture buddy as well!" Tora said with a smirk.

"Ok you can talk about torture I've got to find an assistant and something to eat." Ayumi said.

"What a coincidence, Wu-man and I were just about to go to meet up with the rest of our friends to eat."

"Yeah what a coincidence!" Tora said. "Let's go hang out with DUO and his friends…" Tora elbowed Ayumi a little

"Great, let's go!" Duo said putting one arm around Tora before she growled an angry growl at him, so he opted for Tsuki and Ayumi to escort. Once inside the place Duo stood on tip toe to see above the room of crowded people. "There, they are!" He said walking off with the girls on each arm and Wufei in the back muttering something about Onnas on PMS. "Hey guys I found three lovely ladies, do you mind if they hang for a bit?" he asked not really waiting for answer as he left to retrieve three chairs to add to the table.

"Hello." Quatre said.

"Hi!" The three girls said at once.

"I'm Tsuki, That's Ayumi, and this is Tora." Tsuki introduced herself before receiving blank stares…

"Uhmm this is Heero and Trowa… Neither is open with words often." Quatre provided.

"I see…" Ayumi said smiling softly at Quatre… almost immediately this didn't' settle well with Duo despite his friend's sexual preference.

"So Gadget… you need an assistant?" Duo said suddenly making the other guys frown at him.

"Actually I do. It's beginning to get to a point where I'll probably die of being so busy."

"Yeah, she actually tried to teach me how to fix a car engine…" Tsuki said shaking her head. "Bad idea…"

"Well, Heero can fix cars…" Quatre said.

"I can too!" Duo said being ignored.

"How about computers and maybe some robotics…?"

"Most likely I could do it…"

"Would you do it? You'd be paid well, especially since it's our business…" Tsuki practically pleaded with her wide blue eyes.

"I could help!" Duo said.

"Sure you could by giving her more work…" Tora said being the only one who heard him.

"I can fix a car Tora." Duo said plainly. "I can fix a car with my eyes closed." Duo objected.

"I'm sure you can, Duo-Chan, but its not just cars I deal with… You wouldn't believe the things people need fixing." Ayumi smiled a polite smile at him.

"Like Mrs. Sauvé's toy that she brings every other week?" Tora said making Ayumi blush suddenly.

"Can I take your order yet?" A waitress walked over to the group.

"Yes I'd like an iced tea with lots of ice and I'll have today's special." She said quickly not really listening to what everyone else was ordering. Within minutes all the drinks were served and Ayumi wasted no time to take in enough to have her ice follow the barrier known as her lips. She allowed herself to crunch on the ice.

"You know… eating ice is a sign that you're rather horny…" Duo whispered in her ear making her shake her head.

"So Heero do you want the job?"

"I'll come Monday around four o'clock."

"Okay." Ayumi said. "That' perfect cuz I have a lot scheduled for then!" She grinned.

He stood there waiting for his bags to appear. Part of him regretful for never being able to get in his father's good graces, so he took it upon himself to take on his father's mission that was left undone due to his death… Kill the three girls he spent many years pursuing. Sure his father hated him for being what he was… a half-breed. Eventually he began to hate himself because he couldn't control his cravings for blood every now and again… no he wouldn't think about that right now… right now he wants to make his father proud and just get rid of them for him.
