AUTHOR'S NOTE:

I can't believe it is finally over. I have been working on this story for around two and a half years, so you can see how thrilled, yet sad, I am about finishing it. I absolutely fell in love with my two characters Riley and Vienna. In reality, they are my best friend and I. But I realized that, as the story came out, they became their own people, and not quite as much like my friend and me. The friendship is much the same, I would say, which is where I got my theme. Friendship and loyalty mean a lot to me, and it came out in this story more than I had planned. Chapter Twenty-Four came out not quite like I had planned. The loyalty and friendship between Riley and Vienna was far more obvious that I had originally planned it out to be, but I think it ended perfectly.

I hope everyone who has been reading it enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you for your reviews and support.

P.S. By the way, I am planning on writing a mini-story to go along after this one. It'll mainly be about Riley going to high school and finishing up her senior year. If I do write it (which I really plan on) it may take awhile in putting up since I am mainly trying to focus on my original, Secrets of the Sea (found at fp.net). But keep an eye out for it!
