Mission 1: Two Allies in Armor

"They're coming up fast, why can't we just hit them!" Duo whined, glaring at Heero through his COM screen. Heero glared back, looking as serious as ever, other than a few years older.

"We're waiting to surprise them; they're not expecting us this time. You're impatient Maxwell... What the hell?!" Wufei's mutters turned into shouts as he saw two figures coming over the hill, mechanical figures.

"Since when did OZ have Gundams?" Trowa said, shocked himself. Heero merely scowled.

"Well, there was Epyon, they may have made more," Quatre stated, looking at the two strange Gundams.

`We're not with OZ, don't worry, but for now, let's just win the battle' a figure said, their face hidden on the COM screen, disappearing as quickly as it appeared. Each of the boys just stared in shock.

"Leo Mobile Suits, coming within range in ten seconds!" Quatre said, trying to catch their attention as he looked at his scanners. The others snapped out of it, other than Heero, who was never in it.

"Let's go, Mission Commenced!" Heero stated, moving ahead of the rest of them, until Duo outpaced him.

"Think we scared them?" one of the strange pilots asked their companion, a grin on their face.

"Of course, but I'm offended they related us to Epyon, what a hunk of junk," they replied.

"Not really, it was pretty powerful, as far as you've told me." They shifted in their seat, gripping the controls of their Gundam.

"Shall we kick some OZ ass?"

"Oh course, see in you in a few minutes, dude." They disengaged, each going to the opposite sides of the attack force, heading right for the Eurasian Colony.

"They were easy, as usual," Duo said, leaning against the leg of his Gundam as he and his companions took a break after their battle. It was getting dark, but they didn't care.

"Of course. But did you see that silver and ice blue Gundam, other than it's odd colouring, it fights well, I wonder who the Pilot is," Trowa replied, sitting cross legged beside his Gundam.

"If you're wondering who the pilot is, it's me," a voice said, sounding as if it came form somewhere near Heero, who was leaning on the leg of his Gundam, eyes shut. Everyone jumped, staring at where they thought the voice was coming from.

"Don't be a coward and stop hiding!" Wufei challenged the person, not realizing who they were. Little did he know they were in for a real surprise.

"I'm not a coward, and I was just trying to add the whole effect of mystery, you're boring, dude," a girl said, stepping out form behind the Wing Gundam. Everyone, other than Heero and Trowa, gaped at her. She just stood there, hands folded across her chest.

"The pilot is a... girl?!" Duo stammered, just staring at her.

"No, what did you think I was, a turkey? Of course I'm a girl," she said, smiling, her blue-green eyes sparkling in the setting sun. She wasn't ordinary, but she wasn't stunning either, just a willowy girl of their age, long ash blonde hair and those freaky blue-green eyes. "Oh, since you met me, I guess you should meet my friend too, come on out Hitomi!"

As she said this, another girl came out from behind Trowa's Gundam, grinning like a Cheshire cat. This girl was probably the total opposite of her friend, probably in personality too, but physically she was. Jet black hair, black eyes, similar to Wufei in nationality, but shorter than him and the other girl.

The guys were still shocked and bewildered by the appearance of these two girls claiming to be Gundam pilots. Of course, as if they knew, the blonde started laughing.

"You should see yourselves!!" she yelped between laughs, "Well, except for Mr. Death-Glare and the guy with hair that defies gravity..." She soon controlled herself and jumped down right beside Duo, Hitomi followed suit, but sat beside nobody.

"You're weird..." Quatre said, giving the blonde a strange look.

"Hey! I'm just telling the truth, you guys are very serious you know," she said, smiling again. Hitomi, definitely now the opposite of her, was staring at the fire.

Wufei and Quatre just stared at her as if she was crazy. Heero's cell rang, and they almost jumped through the sky. He took it out of his pocket, flipping it open and answering to whoever had called.

"You want us to return right now? We have a situation, two girls saying they're Gundam pilots, we'll be there in a few minutes, after we deal with these two jokers...What?! You want us to bring them along if they are pilots? Are you mad... Fine! I will bring them, but we need to know if they are pilots!" Heero said, somewhat exasperated and annoyed.

"Trace, can you believe they don't think we're pilots?" Hitomi said, faking a disappointed grimace. So now they knew the blonde's name, or her codename, they all thought.

"I'm offended by that, but if you don't believe us, come on, we'll show you," she said, standing up, smiling again.

"Is she always like this?" Wufei whispered to Hitomi as they followed suit.

"Only really when she meets new people."

"Thank the gods..." he muttered as they walked to a grove of trees, two large figures hidden under canvas. She walked up to one, pulling down the canvas to reveal the icy blue and silver Gundam.

"This is my Gundam, it's called the Element Wing, don't know why, it's not very elemental..." she said, leaning against it, that big grin still on her face.

"The other one is mine, the Essence Wing, I like the name, it suits it, unlike hers," Hitomi said, pulling the sheet form hers to reveal a tall silver, white, and pale green Gundam. Both had the strangest colouring any of the guys had seen for a Gundam, ever.

"Ok, so now you're coming with us," Heero said finally.

"Gonna take us captive now?" Trace challenged.

"No, Sally wants to see you. Though I think it's all a lie that you two are Gundam pilots, you're girls," he muttered.

"Oh shut up, we've been watching you guys, none of you can handle the Zero system very well, even you, Mr. Perfect Soldier," Hitomi taunted.

Everyone stared, no one every said that to Heero. He twitched, then returned to his normal, emotionless self.

"Get into your Gundams, we'll take you to the base," he simply said, then headed for his own.

"Yeesh, someone's touchy," Trace laughed when she climbed into her Gundam. Hitomi laughed as well. They followed the boys back to their base, a well-hidden building in the middle of a desert. They were guided into a landing bay, where the other Gundams had their own places.

In the middle of the bay was two women, one of them talking with Heero as the girls got out of their Gundams. One looked serious, with brown hair in two braids, the other has short black hair, and looked a little more cheerful.

"So you are the two girls that our boys found," the brown-haired one said, "I'm Sally Po, and this is Noin."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Trace."

"I'm Hitomi."

"Well girls, would you be interested in..."
