"OH COME ON!" Duo whined as loudly as he could making Heero cringe. He

looked at his watch and groaned as it displayed three thirty. That meant

that he had spent four hours listening to Heero type on his laptop. Surely

fly boy was done by now..... "Come on Hee cha! You have to go to the zoo with

me!"


Heero sighed, right about now he would do anything just to make Duo be

quiet. For four hours he had listened to the braided baka whine and

complain about how badly he was being treated because Heero wouldn't go

out with him. Guess the thought of going on his own never crossed his

mind. "All right, all right lets go," Heero said shutting his laptop

down and grabbing his brown bomber jacket from it's neatly hung place in

the closet.


"Really? You mean it?!" Duo asked his excitement peaking again. "Can we

go for ice-cream to, and maybe a movie while we're at it.." Duo ticked

off on his fingers several things he wanted to do that night.

"Don't push your luck," Heero growled as he marched out the door and

down towards his jeep.


"You know you're such a pill sometimes," Duo complained running after

him, stopping to scream don't wait up to Trowa and Quatre before

disappearing out the door in a whirlwind of energy. Just barely sliding

into the jeep before it zoomed off into the distance.

"What was that?" Quatre asked, blinking at Trowa a few times.

"I don't know, I recognized Heero and I think that was Duo that followed

him out the door." Trowa said tracing Quatre's lips with the pad of his

thumb before kissing him lightly on the forehead.


They were both snuggled on the couch in front of the television, wrapped

in a giant comforter that Quatre had bought somewhere. Quatre still

couldn't shake the cold feeling that had surrounded his heart so Trowa

didn't push him to go out anywhere.


"Thanks love," Quatre said as he smiled and snuggled further down into

Trowa's lap causing Trowa to wrap the blanket more firmly around him.


"It's going to be all right sweets, it's going to be all right," Trowa

whispered in his ear.

"This is great!" Duo chirped happily as he dragged a very grouchy wing

pilot through the aquarium exhibit at the zoo. Duo stopped at the large

clear window view of the shark holding tank, watching several large

specimens swim by. "Wow....."


Heero unhooked his arm from around Duo's and walked up close to the

glass and peered into the tank while Duo bounced off to watch the sting

rays a few feet over. At first he didn't see anything and he wondered

why Duo was so amazed at nothing. Suddenly a wave of uneasiness passed

through him and he took a step back. "Wha?" he whispered to himself as

he watched a giant shark approach the glass. It's dark eyes blazing at

him through the deep dark blue murky waters. //Sharks are blind aren't

they?// He thought as he tried to remember his history on sharks. This

one seemed to be staring right at him as if he knew he was there.


"What's going on here...." he asked to thin air as the shark pressed

it's nuzzled against the glass exerting it's tremendous weight on it.

Heero watched in horror as the glass began to break, small streams of

water begin to make there way down to the floor. Glancing around he was

shocked to see that he was alone, where had Duo gone? Gone when he

needed him the most.


More and more water began to pour into the exhibit hall and Heero went

and searched for an exit, but all the doors had disappeared. Feeling

along the walls he desperately searched for a way out.

The giant shark pressed harder against the glass and Heero screamed as

the glass broke.
