The automatic security system that Heero installed for Quatre activated as soon as the alarm triggered. Steel blocked all the doors to the outside and metal bars crated a cage around the windows. In less than a minuet the whole house tightly locked down. Any intruder would find it impossible to get in or out, courtesy of Heero Yuy, tested by Duo Maxwell. It was the same one that was in Duo's garage, but just no cameras.

“Who do you think it could be, Quatre?” Hanna asked as they walked toward the security room. Usually there would be a Maguanac there but Quatre insisted that they all take some time off. All forty of them.

“I don't know. It could be anyone. Most likely a spy from a rival company.” He replied.

When they arrived at their destination he turned on all the screens to where he could every thing in the house and the outside yard. Every screen seemed to show no signs of an intruder.

He then rewound the tapes to see every thing that happened 10 minuets ago.

“Quatre why is the back door left open?”

“Huh?”

“See there.” She pointes at a specific room “It's open just a smidge.”

“I don't know… maybe someone thought they clo…” he stopped when he saw exactly what had happened.

Jessie, Quatre's Golden Retriever, opened the door just enough for him to slip in, and triggered the alarm, causing the door to automatically shut. He had a cookie in his mouth from a plate left in the room and was now just lying there licking his jaws.

“The dog triggered the alarm.” Hanna said in disbelief. Then she just died out laughing. Quatre joined in as soon as he re-watched the little event.

They went down a told everyone what happened only after he turned of the ever so loud alarm off and un-blocked all the entrances to the house. The only problem was though is that the alarm triggered the police and they would be there shortly. And police and the Winner Estate was sure to attract any news station within and 100-mile radius. Quatre really didn't want a story about a dog tripping the alarm at his house on the Morning News. He'd have to think of something.

“You're not serious!” Duo said letting out a laugh. “The dog triggered the alarm. I knew it couldn't be a bug like you told the reporters, I mean Heero made the thing, but the dog!”

Duo had to hold his gut he was laughing so hard.

It wasn't that funny… okay it was but still it's over and done with. How is Andrew doing?” Quatre asked over the phone. (Duh. Of course he's over the phone.)

“He's still sleeping. I'm going to take him shopping later, you know, get him some clothes, toys, and some hygiene products. Would you like to meet up with us and help cause it's gonna be a lot of stuff.”

You mean it's gonna be a lot of stuff and you want me to help pay for a majority of it.”

“Well… yeah, that and I'm not that good of a shopper. I mean I am when it comes to video game but not this kind of stuff.”

Sure, I don't mind, but why so much? Isn't it supposed to only until he finds a good home?

“Well… yeah. But what are the chances of finding a good home for him, I mean a really good home for him, in like, a week?”

What are the chances that you've already taken a liking to the kid and what him to keep the little guy?

“Better than the chances of finding him a home.”

And how much better would that be?” Quatre asked as a grin came to his lips.

“Umm…if I had to guess…umm…it was nice talking to you and everything, but I have go. I need to start breakfast so the kid has something to eat when he gets up. How about we meet you at… Sears in and hour. Okay bye.”

Duo quickly shut of the vid-phone and sighed. He needed to get some friends that didn't catch on to things too quickly. Having his fellow pilots as friends made it hard to do anything without someone picking up on it.

He went into the kitchen and looked for anything he might be able to make. Breakfast ended up as being French toast with a side of bacon.

About ten minutes after Duo started cooking Andrew came in dragging his feet wearing one of Duo's old t-shirts he had slept in.

“G'mornin`” was all he said before plopping down at the table.

“Well you're wide awake aren't you?” Duo said. “I bet you're hungry.”

Andrew gave him a dead nod.

“That's what I thought. I got some French toast and bacon for you.” Duo said handing him a plate of the very yummy breakfast. Andrew was wide-awake at the sight of food and wasted no time stuffing his face.

“Would you like something to drink in the break between mouthfuls however short they might be?”

“Un ush, hez.”

“Sorry, I don't serve German drinks.”

Andrew swallowed what was in his mouth so he was able to speak English “Orange Juice, please.”

“Much better.”

Duo gave him a glass of Tropicana before sitting down and eating himself.

“Hurry up and eat, we…”

“Can I have some more?”

Duo, who hadn't been paying attention looked up to see Andrew had completely cleaned his plate.

“Umm… okay.”

*Knock, Knock*

Heero, who had been flipping and through the channels on his TV got up and answered the door to find Catherine waiting with a mischievous smile on her face.

“Hel…”

“Hi, Heero. I heard Relena was coming over tonight for dinner, so I decided I'd come over and help you make it romantic. I know you may not want my help but we both know you need it.” She said very quickly and went straight in the house.

“lo.” Heero finished. Then to no one in particular “Why don't you come in? You don't have to stand out here and actually wait to be invited in.” before going inside and seriously hoping she wasn't planning to make soup.

He went into the kitchen to find Catherine was going through his cabinets looking for pots and pans.

“Exactly what do you think you are doing?” Heero asked.

“Like I said. Helping.”

“I don't need any help.”

“Really? What do you plan on doing tonight? I really hope you know what you're going to cook, what you provide for entertainment, and what about….”

“It is a dinner date. Just a dinner date. It's not like I'm proposing.”

“You still want it to be romantic, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Then you need some help. What do you plan on cooking anyway?”

“Umm… I haven't decided yet.”

“You're joking. What about some…”

“No soup!”

“I wasn't going to say that. I was going to say how about spaghetti.”

“Oh… that sounds fine.”

“You're really opinionated aren't you.”

“Hnn. How did you find out about this anyway?”

“Oh, well, Relena called Hilde and told her. Hilde called and told me and we decided that you would need just a little help. Hilde would have been here already but she had to make a stop and pick up a few things.”

“Wait Hilde is coming too.”

“Yeah.”

“Although I don't agree with the fact that you two just come over here and start using my kitchen with out my permission, what exactly is she picking up?”

“Candles, scented candles actually, some flowers, and some soft, romantic music.”

“So in other words, you and Hilde are barging in and planning my date.”

“Not so much planning. More like assisting.”

“Catherine… out.” Heero said pointing to the door.

“But…”

“Out! My dinner, my date, I will plan it how I want without any `assistance'”

“Fine, but don't think it will be this easy to get rid of Hilde.”

“I have my ways.” He said with a smile.
