PAINS OF LOVE

Catherine Bloom woke with a little bit of a headache and did not remember anything about last night. She took a
look around the room she was in, in a room she have never seen or been before. It had white-long curtains that didn't
let the sunrays pass but you could still feel its warmth. Most of the room was white and the sunrays made it shine like
old-- Catherine's thoughts were interrupted by three things: 1) She was holding a hand, and it was defenetly not hers, it
was bigger. 2) She felt a soft breath and a different weight on her back. Then she realized that she wasn't alone.
Instantly she let go of the hand and slowly started to move the body from her. She couldn't see who the person was,
because she still was a little bit dizzy. From what? She didn't knew. She heard some footsteps appoaching and she
quickly got dressed and went outside the balcony. Before going to the balcony, she took another look to the person
and she realized that it was was-- "knock, knock" someone knocked at the door and Catherine ran towards the
balcony.
"Come in!" answered the young man on the bed
"Good morning, master Quatre!" greeted Rashid
"Good morning, Rashid!" greeted Quatre looking around the room
"What it is master Quatre?" asked Rashid
"Nothing." answered Quatre
"Master, I just came to say that breakfast will be ready in 15 minutes." said Rashid leaving the room
*Was it just a dream? But it felt so real.* thought Quatre "Huh?" Quatre's thoughts were interrupted by a strange sound
coming from the balcony and he headed towards the balcony.
*I hope it was her.* thought Quatre and to his surprise the thing that made the sound was a small white pidgeon.
"Hello there." said Quatre as the pidgeon flew at his straight.

Catherine ran as fast she could she just wanted to get to the circus before anyone noticed she was missing.
*Finally.* she thought as she could see the big ten
She ran to her trailer, opened the door and slammed it behind her. She almost tore her clothes off just to get a
shower. Outside, in front of Catherine's trailer door, was Trowa standing staring at it a little bit worried. That's when he
decided to open the door and ask Catherine what's wrong. When he entered the trailer he saw a trail of clothe
making a path to the bathroom where he heard the shower running and he headed towards the bathroom.
"Cathy, what's wrong?" asked Trowa when he saw his "sister" in the floor of the bathtub with her head between her
knees sobbing. He immeaditely turned the shower off and too a towel and wrapped it around her naked body. Then
he took her in his arms and placed her in the bed.
"Cathy what's wrong?" Trowa asked once again
"I had a headache." was Cathy's answer
"But you came here crying. What happened Cathy?" demanded Trowa
"I can't tell you." said Cathy
"Why?" asked Trowa
"Because I don't even know what happened." said Cathy with tears comng down her cheeks and she burried her in
Trowa's chest hugging him with all her strength.
"Cathy you shouldn't work today, you better go to sleep. I'll talk to the ringmaster." said Trowa making Catherine lay
down on the bed and he kissed her on her forehead. "Sweet dreams sis."
"Thank you, Trowa." said Cathy
"You're welcome." and with this words Trowa left Cathy's trailer
Cathys had a hard time before she could sleep. She only was trying to reemember exactly what happened last
night. She tried really hard that sleep overcame her in notime.

Cathy was at a disco having fun, when she spotted Quatre on the bar. He looked mad and he usually wasn't, so
she thought he was drunk and she decided to walk over to Quatre and talk him.
"Hi, Quatre!" greeted Cathy
"Hi Catherine! I never thought to find you here." said Quatre
"Same here. So what are you doing here?" asked Cathy
"Having some fun." said Quatre
"You don't like you're having fun." said Cathy
"Hey there hunk. Wanna dance?" asked a woman to Quatre
"Sure. See you later Catherine." said Quatre as he went to the dance floor
From the bar Cathy was looking to Quatre and the woman dancing with him. They were very close, that their
bodies were touching. To Cathy's thoughts, their dance sucked, so she decided to go over to them and break the
dance, Cathy was a bit drunk.
"Quatre, it's late. We must go." said Cahy
"No, I want to stay. I'm having fun." said Qautre
"Quatre I'm not asking you, I'm telling you." said Cathy almost yelling. He resisted but at the end he was defeated by
Cathy. Cathy took Quatre outside and waited for a cab.
"Where to, miss?" asked the man and Cathy told tha man where tog go.
In 20 minutes they arrived to Quatre's massion. Cathy payed the man and she headed towards the entrance, when
two big scary dogs came running and barking towards them.
"Oh shit!" exclaimed Cathy not knowing what to do
"Back off!" yelled Quatre to the dogs and the dogs did. "Don't worry, they don't attack unless I tell them to."
"C'mon I'll take you to your room. I'm worried to leave you here." said Cathy
"Hey I'm a Gundam pilot. Remember?" said Quatre
"Yeah, a drunken Gundam pilot." said Cathy

Once inside the house on the second floor.
"Wich one is your room?" asked Cathy
"The second door on the left." said Quatre
Cathy opened Quatre's room door. She was about to place Quatre in his bed when she stumbled and she found
herself laying on the bed with Quatre on top of her.
"Quatre get off." Cathy demanded pushing him up
"I like this pisitiojn." said Quatre smelling the scent of her hair
"Get off!" yelled Cathy
"You're so beautiful." whispered Quatre when their lips met
"Please Qu--" Cathy got cut of by another kiss of Quatre
Cathy couldn't take control of it. So she returned Quatre's kiss placing encircling his neck with her arms. Quatre was
now unbottoning Cathy's top, revealing a perfect pair of--
"No!" yelled Cathy. "Huh? What happened?" asked Cathy to herself. "God, it was only a dream." sighed Cathy in relief.
"But, oh my god, that's what happened last night. Now I remember. Huh? Trowa?" said Cathy when she saw that
Trowa was sitting on the couch but he was asleep. Cathy headed towards him with a pillow and a blanket.
"You were watching over me. Thank you brother." whispered Cathy as she placed a pillow on the edge of the couch
and made Trowa lay down sleeping on the couch and placed the blanket over him.
"Sweet dreams Trowa." whispered Cathy kissing him in his forehead. She look outside and it was 10:30 pm. And soon
sleep overcame her, again.

So, two months and a half have passed by and Cathy couldn't take those images of her and Quatre out of her
head. She tried really hard not to see Quatre, but tonight he was taking the day off and decided to go to the circus.
"Catherine, Trowa are you sure you want to do the act tonight? The net is old, it might break, and the new one doesn't
come until two more days." said the ringmaster
"We need to do this act, the circus need something new. I'll go practice my aim now." said Cathy
"Need a target?" asked Trowa
"No, thank you." said Cathy
Trowa was worried about Cathy so he decide to watch her, with out her knowing. The minutes passed and Trowa
saw that Cathy looked all right and he thought that she would be fine. Just when he was turning around he saw
Cathy drop her knives and kneel on the floor with pain, so he ran towards her.
"Cathy are you all right?" asked Trowa very worried
"Yeah. I just had a little headache." said Cathy with a fake smile
"Are you sure?" aske Trowa
"Yeah, honestly. I'm fine." said Cathy
It soon came the night. Everyone in the crowd was excited about the new act. Cathy was to jump from a very
high platform and Trowa was to jump from a lower one and catch Cathy on the air and try to land on his feets with
Cathy on his arms.

In Quatre's manssion.
"Master Quatre, you sure you don't want company?" asked Rashid
"Rashid, I'll be fine. Besides I will be with my friends." said Quatre
"Have fun then, master Quatre." said Rashid
"Thank you Rashid." said Quatre

In the circus.
"And now ladies and gentelmens, boys and girls. The moment you've all been waiting for. Cathy and Trowa's Big Jump."
(I know it sounds stupid, but I had nothing else on my mind.)
"Yeah!" excalimed the crowd
For a moment there were inmense silence and the drums where playing the suspense music. Everyone had their
hearts on their mouths. When Cathy anounced she was starting.
"C'mon Cathy you can do it. Forget the headache." said Cathy to herself
Cathy shaked her hands and feets and relaxed. She had been practicing this act with Trowa for days, she knew
exactly what to do, but this time she was nervous. She felt weird on her stomach. What she didn't noticed was that
she was already falling of the platform. Everyone was amazed. Trowa's eyes almost exploded when he saw Cathy
falling. He thought he could jump and grab her, he didn't trusted the net, it was very old. When Trowa saw Cathy near
him he jumped, he got her hand but it slipped thorugh his fingers. Trowa got to the other side without Cathy. When he
turned he saw Cathy on the floor and under her was a puddle of blood. He ran towards her. Before he could get to
her, Quatre was already beside her trying to wake her up.
"Somebody call an ambulance!" yelled Trowa still running
"How is she?" asked Trowa to Quatre
"She's still breathing, but it looks like she lost a lot of blood." said Quatre
In 15 minutes the ambulance came. The nurses immeadeatly, but carefully, took Cathy and placed her in the bed
and on the ambulance and headed back to the hospital. When the ambulance arrived to the hospital, an operation
room was already prepared, they even got the blood for transfusion. Trowa and Quatre got to the hospital 5 minutes
later. The doctor tolde them to wait, that it will only take minutes to tranfer the blood.
"I'll go call the others. Do you want something to drink?" said Quatre
"No, but thanks anyway." said Trowa
Half hour later Heer, Relena, Duo, Hilde, Wufei, Sally and Midi Une came in the hospital. They rushed to where Quatre
and Trowa where. When Relena saw Trowa she rushed to hug him. (No, this is not a Relena/Trowa fic.)
"How is she?" asked Hilde
"We don't know. The doctor hasn't come out yet." said Quatre
"What happened to her?" asked Relena
"we were in the premier of our new act, when she suddendly los conscience." said Trowa
"Hey, that doctor is heading this way." said Duo
"Doctor how is she?" asked Trowa
"She's out of danger. But I preffer to keep an eye on her." said the doctor
"Can we see her?" asked Sally
"Only one person." said the doctor
"Trowa you go." said Une
"Thank you. Doctor before you go, tell me what happened to her." said Trowa
"I preffer to wait until she awakes." said the doctor
"O.K." said Trowa and he headed to Cathy's room
Trowa placed a chair near Cathy's bed. He looked at her sleeping form. He took her hand in his and kissed it.
"Cathy, please wake up." whispered Trowa
"Uh!" sighed Cathy opening her eyes
"Cathy you're awake." exclaimed Trowa
"Where am I?" asked Cathy shaking her head
"You're in a hospital. You had an accident." said Trowa. "I'll go get the doctor." Minutes later Trowa got back with the
back.
"How are you feeling, Miss Bloom?" asked the doctor
"Call me Catherine. I'm fine, but a have a tremendous pain here." said Cathy placing a hand in her stomach.
"Well, um, I must ask you this first. Are you married?" asked the doctor
"No." said Cathy
"Then, do you have a boyfriend?" asked the doctor
"No doctor. Why are you asking me this?" asked Cathy concerned
"Because you lost your baby." said the doctor
"WHAT? What baby?" asked/yelled Cathy
"Didn't you knew you were pregnant?" asked the doctor
"No. Oh my god." said Cathy lost in her thoughts
"Doctor, can you please leave us?" asked Trowa
"Sure. I'll be back later." said the doctor leaving the room
"I know what you must be thinking of me now." said Cathy
"No, Cathy, you don't." said Trowa. "Now I want you to tell me what happened and who was the father." demanded

"Man the doctor came out of the room a while ago. Wonder what happened?" jocked Duo
"Look, Trowa is coming." announced Heero
Without a word, Trowa came, almost running, towards Quatre and punched him on the face. Quatre stumbled
down and started bleeding drom the nose. Relena, Hilde, Sally and Une helped Quatre get to his feet, while Heero,
Duo and Wufei were stopping Trowa. But Trowa was really pissed off that he managged to punch Heero, Duo and
Wufei, but they still were stopping him. Secutiy came immeaditely and took them all (Trowa, Heero, Duo, Wufei,
Quatre, Relena, Sally, Hilde and Une) to a room.
"What was that for?" asked Quatre while a nurse was taking care of his bleeding nose
"Cathy told me what happened between you two." said Trowa
"Oh that. I thought it were a dream." said Quatre
"What do you mean?" asked Trowa
"The next day I woke and she wasn't there." said Quatre
"Quatre, there's another thing." said Trowa
"What is it?" asked Quatre
"It's Cathy, she was pregnant." said Trowa
"What? Wait a minute, yo said was?" asked Quatre
"Yeah, with the fall she lost the baby." said Trowa
"Please Trowa, you must let me see her." pleaded Quatre
"I won't stop you. But before you go answer me this. Do you love her?" asked Trowa

*knock, knock*
"Come in." answered Cathy
"How are you feeling?" asked Quatre
"Quatre, what are you doing here?" asked Cathy
"Can't I come to see how my friend is doing?" asked Quatre
"I'm sorry." said Cathy looking away from him
"Cathy ..." said Quatre putting his hand in her chin making her look at his eyes "... I know."
"Huh? Trowa told you, didn't he? I should have told him not to saya word." said Cathy
"Why?" asked Quatre
"Because you must think that I would've used the child to make you marry me." said Cathy
"What?" asked surprised Quatre
"What did I just said?" whispered Cathy
"Cathy I, uh, I'm speechless." said Quatre "No. I'm not speechless. I have three words to say."
"No, please don't." begged Cathy
"I love you, Cathy." said Quatre
"Quatre, those are four words." smiled Cathy
"Hey, I made you smiled." smiled Quatre
"Quatre this is too hard." said Cathy
"I understand." said Quatre opening the door
*Cathy, you're letting the one you love go away. Do something.* she thought
"Quatre, wait." said Cathy
"What is it?" asked Quatre
"I'm sorry." said Cathy
"Oh, it's okay." said Quatre
"No, that's not what I wanted to tell you." said Cathy
"Then what is it?" asked Quatre
"Quatre I ... love you." said Cathy
Quatre just smiled and headed towards her and kissed her deeply on the lips.
"I can see you're doing fine." said the doctor when he came in
"Yeah. I'm fine." blushed Cathy
"And who is this? If I may ask?" asked the doctor
"I'm Quatre Raberba Winner. I'm the father of the baby Catherine lost." when Quatre said this Cathy looked at him in
surprise and she turned a lot red.
"I'm sorry." said the doctor
"It's okay. I even foun out today." said Quatre
"Doctor, can you please tell my friends to come in?" asked Cathy
"Sure." said the doctor
"How ya doin' babe?" asked Duo when he came in
"I'm fine." said Cathy
"What happened to you? The doctor wouldn't tell us." said Relena
"Well, I was pregnant." said Cathy
"WHAT?!" asked/yelled evreyone in unison
"Wait a minute. You said "was"." said Sally
"I lost the baby. Um, where's Trowa, guys?" asked Cathy
"He went to change from his clown suit." said Une
"I have a question. Why are you two holding hands?" asked Hilde to Cathy and Quatre
"I have another. Whowas the father of the baby?" asked Duo smirking at Cathy and Quatre
"I was." answered Quatre also smirking
"Way to go Q-man." said Duo
"Cathy, how did you felt when you knew you lost the baby?" asked Une
"I felt like a part of me was taken from me." said Cathy as she felt tears coming down her cheecks, she also felt two
arms embracing her arms wich she knew belonged to Quatre
"Cathy, you are really lucky." said Relena
""Why is that?" asked Cathy
"Well, you know that I've been married to Heero for almost two years now and I want to get pregnant but there seems
to be a problem that we don't know and you didn't want to get pregnant and you got pregnant." said Relena
"Relena?!" said Heero in between his teeth
"What? Oh, Quatre you must tell Heero what did you do that night. Give him some tips." said Relena
"Relena, you don't have to discuss our privacy in public." said Heero and everyone in the room giggled
"I'm sorry, but visit hours are over." said a nurse
"Well see you tomorrow Cathy." said Relena when everyone left the room
"Miss?' said Cathy to the nurse
"Yeah."
"If my brother, Trowa Barton, comes let him come to see me, please." said Cathy
"I'll see what I can do." said the nurse
"Thank you."
It was ner midnight, and Trowa didn't came. Cathy wanted him to come and if he came she wanted to wait for
him awake. As she saw the time pass, she thought he wouldn't come, so she fell asleep.

The next morning Cathy awoke so well that she just would go out of the room and to the place she calls her home,
to the Circus. She felt pain no more, she hust felt sadness over a baby she did not knew existed and that she were to
give birth and died inside of her.
*If only I would've seen a doctor.* thought Cathy opening her eyes and, to her surprise, she found Trowa sitting on a
couch next to her bed, sleeping, but watching over her sleep once again.
"Sis, you're awake." said Trowa when he opened his eyes
"Did you slept there all night?" asked Cathy
"Yeah, I just wanted to see that you were oaky." said Trowa
"Thank you, Trowa. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Cathy
"Anything." said Trowa
"Hug me, witj all your strength. I really need it." said Cathy and Trowa just got close to her and did what she asked him
for
"I love you, Trowa. whispered Cathy
"I love you, too, Cathy." he whispered back
"Woah, do we need a crowbar to separate you two?" asked Duo when he got in the room
"Hi Duo. Did the others came with you?" asked Cathy
"Just Hilde, Relena and Heero. Une, Sally and Wufei had to work and I don't know anything about Quatre since
yesterday." said Duo
They all talked about everything. Hilde, Duo, Relena and Heero gave Cathy some "Get Well" presents. Hilde gave
Cathy a cest with a card, fruits, candy and a teddy bear. Duo gave Cathy a picture of all of them together: Heero,
Duo, Trowa, Quatre, Wufei, Relena, Hilde, Une, Catherine and Sally; and in the back of the picture it said:
To one of our dearest friend Catherine Bloom. All of us: Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, Wufei, Relena,
Hilde, une and Sally wants you to know that we will always de here for you. Anytime.
and they all singed it. Relena gave Cathy a music box that played the sweetest soft music. And Heero gave Cathy a
bouquet of 12 white roses with one red rose in the middle. Cathy loved all of the presents. Someime later Quatre
came in.
"Hi guys!" exclaimed Quatre
"Hi." they said at once
"Quatre where were you? I was worried." said Cathy
"I'm sorry, but I had to do things of importance. Can I ask for your forgivence?" said Quatre
"You're forgiven." smirked Cathy
"I need to do something. I know it's not the time nor the place, but I might not find the courage again." said Quatre
"Quatre you're scaring me." said Cathy
"I'm sorry Cathy, it is not my intension." said Quatre
"Go on." said Cathy then Quatre turned his gaze to Trowa
"Trowa, you and Cathy are like brother and sister. You love her as you would love a sister. Or at least that's what you
have made me think. You are the only family she has and she's the only family you have, and because of that you
protect her so much. Now I'm asking you to give me that job, the job of protecting her." said Quatre
"Talk clear Quatre." said Trowa
"I'm asking you for Cathy's hand in matrimony." said Quatre
"No." said Trowa
"What?" asked everyone in unison
"I'm not the one wether to say yes or no. You must go ask her yourself." said Trowa
"You're right." said Quatre heading towards Cathy, who was really nervous
When Quatre got near her, he pulled out of his pant's pocket a small blue velvet box and opened it, revealing an
engagement ring. The ring was very simple, but it was made out of pure gold and had three diamonds, the one in the
middle was transparent and the two on the sides were dark red. And kneeling in front of Cathy he asked:
"Catherine Bloom, could you do me the honor of being my wife?"
"Yes!" answered Cathy without thinking twice
When Cathy answered, she and Quatre kisses. They all were celebrating. When the doctor came in he said that
Cathy was to go out of the hospital tomorrow afternoon.
