I stare out the window, as the rain drops flood the backyard. I've remembered everything, and yet, none of those memories even compare to all that I know. I've seen many things, and yet I am blind even to myself. I hear everything, and yet, I'm deaf to the sound of my heart.

Have you seen it? All the things that haunt my dreams. Have you seen me in my shadowed form?

The greyness of the outer world melts away from me. The color from all things suddenly turns grey, and disappears against the sky. The Earth, and Sky melt away into the barren plains that I have seen before.

Have you heard it? The call of the battlefeild. Have you heard the screaming of the tormented souls?

I watch as the world passes me by; seeing only skeletons.....while you see the living. I am dead, and you are alive. I close my eyes to the death that I have seen before me. There in the darkness, I hear the screams of the tormented souls, and see the faces of all those who were killed by my hand.

Do you remember it? Remember all the pain ripping at you? Will you remember what brought you out of it, so that I can be saved by it.

This.....this is my curse. To forever die, and be killed by the dead. Forever in haunting......break this curse, end my pain. Or at least put me out of my misery. Please.
