Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ Practical Revenge ❯ One-Shot
Finally, I finished it, and here it is. ;) Much thanks to Aimee, who
has become my "very happy little muse." :):):) (She's what inspired
me to actually finish this last night, so thank her, and thank her for
it actually being funny, she sorted out my ideas. You don't know, and
probably don't want to know, what she saved you all from. :) )

Heero had finally begun to relax. It had been several weeks since
he'd played his practical joke on Duo, and Duo appeared to have
completely forgotten about revenge. So now he sat at his computer,
typing away, feeling secure. Duo watched him, well aware that Heero
was lulled into a false sense of security. It was all part of the
plan. It was evil, but then, Shinigami tended to be. <It'll all be
over soon, Heero. Soon.> Duo allowed himself a silent, maniacal
laugh..
****
Everything was going as planned. Heero wasn't going to know what to
do. Duo resisted cackling. He didn't have much time. He leapt into
motion, grabbing a cardboard box from under his bed, then sweeping
all of Heero's clothes into it. Absolutely all of them. When he was
sure he'd gotten everything, he grabbed another cardboard box and
started unloading new clothes and accessories. His face remained
serious until he was done unpacking. Then as he grabbed the box he'd
already packed, glanced at it and shrugged. <Who'd know that the
Perfect Soldier not only doesn't seem to wear underwear, he actually
doesn't own any?>
Before leaving the room, he made one last check. Yes, all of Heero's
clothing was gone, so was his own. And the new clothes weren't
visible...yet. <This is going to be sooooooooooo good.>
****
"Heeeeeero. Oh, Heeeeeeeeeeeo!" Duo sang out teasingly as he
intercepted the newly arrived Heero.
"What?!" Heero was not in the best of moods, and Duo was not what he
wanted to see right now.
"You haven't forgotten about Relena's visit, have you?" Duo managed
to suppress most of his smirk.
"K'so!" Heero glared.
"Hey, don't glare at me! Not my fault the Perfect Soldier's perfect
memory seems to be fading." Duo paused and looked at him
consideringly. "Ya know...you don't have a lot of time before Relena
arrives, and you certainly need to clean up. Why don't you let me
shampoo your hair?"
Heero merely gave him a Look. Duo narrowed his eyes. "Don't go
getting your spandex in a twist. I'm just being nice. It would help
relax you before she arrives. Heaven forbid you actually snap and
shoot her or something."
"Hn." Heero actually considered that, then gave a short, jerky nod.
Duo resisted the urge to laugh in triumph, and instead merely beamed.
"Wonderful! Come right this way." Duo quickly ushered Heero into
the bathroom.
After telling him to get clean first, Duo disappeared to get
'supplies', then came back to find Heero waiting. "Damn you're
quick. Well, you've got to sit still and keep your eyes closed, I
wouldn't want to get shampoo in your eyes or anything."
Duo then proceeded to wash Heero's hair, very carefully isolating
sections with different kinds of shampoo, grinning widely all the
while. He took his time massaging Heero's scalp to give the stuff a
chance to sink in, then rinsed the hair. The result was stunning,
and he was hard pressed not to laugh.
"Well, there you go." Duo stood quickly. "I've laid out some new
clothes for you on your bed. You should look your best for Relena."
Then he promptly fled.
Heero shrugged, then levered himself out of the tub. Though he
hated to admit it, Duo had been right. The shampoo had been
relaxing. Maybe he didn't give Duo enough credit.
That line of thought cut off abruptly as he caught sight of himself
in the mirror. Each spiky bang was a different color. Green, pink,
and purple dripped down into his face, red, blue, and some colors he
definitely didn't know the names for covered the rest of his head.
"DUOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Heero stormed out of the bathroom and stopped dead at the when he saw
his bed. Those were....Heero closed his eyes for a moment, then
stormed over to the door. "DUOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
He pulled on the door and it didn't budge. He tried it again.
"DUOOOO! Omae o korosu!"
Duo's voice drifted through the door. "How original, Hee-chan."
As Heero started rifling through his stuff, Duo's voice sounded
again. "They're not there. Do you seriously think I'd lock you in a
room and leave you a weapon?" Duo laughed. Heero death-glared at
the door.
"Now, Heero, you probably should hurry up and get dressed before
Relena gets here. She's due any time." Duo's cheerful voice
continued with glee, "And of course, once she gets here, I'm going to
HAVE to let her in to see you."
Heero paled, looked wildly around the room for some means of escape,
and found none. Duo had planned ahead. He focused on the bed again
and looked quickly away. He couldn't, he just couldn't. But the
only other option was to meet Relena naked, or dressed in a towel.
Either way, he'd never get the girl over her crush on him. Heero
nearly panicked as he heard the doorbell.
***
Duo lead Relena through the house, gaily chatting away. "Oh, yes, of
course he's here, he'd never forget a meeting with you, Relena-sama."
Duo coquettishly blinked his eyes. "He's just nervous, and wanted
to look his best for you."
"Oh, how sweet." Relena preened, the sixteen year old girl inside
her loving the attention of an attractive boy.
"Oh, most definitely." Duo smirked in anticipation. Then tapped
politely on the door. "Heero, are you ready? Relena's eager to see
you."
A muffled, "hn," came through the door. "I'll take that as a yes.
He's so talkative, isn't he?" Duo babbled to Relena as he discretely
unlocked the door and swung it open.
"Oh, Heero, I-" Relena froze.
Duo cackled.
Heero death-glared, from beneath his rainbow locks, trying to ignore
how silly he knew he looked in a sailor suit like a schoolgirl's,
neatly trimmed in rainbow shades that perfectly matched his hair.
The coordination of colors was simply adding insult to injury.
"Heero...um....are you...I mean...uh..." Relena's diplomacy was
failing her. Heero's glare was getting more intense.
"Why Heero," Duo recovered from his laughing enough to speak, "I
didn't know you were a sailor scout."
~~Owari~~
I have pic of Heero as a Sailor Scout, which I would post as a companion, except I lost the name of the person who drew it for me. *sighs*
