Title: Retribution

Summary: Two groups of thieves find themselves drawn together through betrayal and lies.

Disclaimers: Give me a break. The friggin title isn't even mine. Its ShadowKano (THANK YOU CHICA!!!). So how in the hell would you think that GW's well created characters are mine? Yeah, you feel smart don't ya? Just read the damn fic. :-P

Pairing: 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6…you get the idea…1x2/2x1, 3x4, 5x6(x13), Talim x Shai x (maybe a third bishie), SxN, HxR, 1xR (one sided)…..the guys are gonna sleep around until they get to their respective partners.

 

Chapter 6:

 

“But, Hediki, it wasn't -ow!- my fault.” Talim whined. He winced again as he felt the other teen adding yet another stitch.

 

“Knife fights, two casualties, and no item of importance to show for it other than a few more battle wounds.” Hediki grumbled. “I knew I should've done it myself.” She plunged the stitching needle in again. Though she was aggravated she took great care in stitching up the other teen. After all they'd seen so much worse.

 

“Don't get mad at me….they weren't supposed to be there.” Talim pouted and rubbed at the bruises on his ribs. “They're great fighters though.” He remarked absently. “Too bad we were in a hallway, I wanted to try some new moves out.”

 

Ms. Hediki shook her head at her friend's wistful tone. If the gash on his wrist had been a little more to the left and about two inches deeper, he would've bled to death but that seemed to be the least of his worries. “You are ridiculous.” She stated. Talim only nodded in agreement. “You do know he nicked a vein, right?”

 

“Yup, and that I should take it easy even though I won't.”

 

“At least we're at an understanding.”

 

“Yup”

“So how close are you?”

 

“They've been hacking away at Mueller's supply for three months now.”

 

“Are you sure they're with him?”

 

“Must be taking the client's merchandise and selling it for more then splitting it up. It makes sense and I've seen how these two function. What about you?”

 

“Nothing much to say. The idiot almost got caught trying to steal our bait.”

 

“Hmmm…..”

 

“Zech…”

 

“Uh?”

 

“Be careful.”

 

“You too, Hilde. We move out on the seventh”

A/N: I wasn't going to include that last bit but I couldn't leave you with that short dialogue between Tally and Hediki. I think it adds a bit of suspense being that I won't be going into anymore detail about that particular snippet until much later. Review, please and I'll update....uh...tomorrow!!
