Chapter 1
Heero had been on Earth for a month now. He didn't particularly like the senseless killing that came with the job description. He had by now managed to narrow down the list to one person and at the moment that person was currently trying to drag him off his laptop.
"Hee-chan! It's a nice day outside and you should be out there having fun not sitting in here on that stupid computer of yours!" Duo complained loudly while pulling Heero's arm. Heero looked at the hands holding his arm in a stubborn grip then to the face of the person whose hands they were. Taking in the firm set of the jaw he realized that he wasn't going to get any work done with Duo around. He gave in.
"Alright! I'll go outside, now will you let go of my arm?" Duo complied with Heero's wish and let his arm go.
"Come on, come on, come on." Duo said right before he turned and ran out of the bedroom door. With a resigned sigh Heero got out of his chair and followed the braided baka out of the house into the outside world.
Since he had come to Earth, Heero always tried to not go into an area with lots of plants while there are people around. Due to the fact that he had elfin blood in him he often felt the plants twisting their limbs in his direction trying to attract his attention. It was sometimes difficult to get them to stop before people noticed without accidently letting his control on the bit of magic that it took for him to conceal the fact that he wasn't human. The safe house they were currently residing in with the other pilots was in the middle of the forest.
Duo was waiting for him on the porch, as soon as he saw Heero he gripped his arm again and started to pull him threw the woods and towards a stream not to far from the house. While taking the path threw the woods he felt the plants reaching out to him. Duo, being Duo, kept talking on and didn't mention that he did find it strange that the plants kept leaning towards them. Upon reaching the stream, Duo started to strip down to his boxers. Heero suddenly felt the need to grab that lush body and burry himself to the hilt in that tempting ass. In his desperate need to hide his suddenly raging hard on, Heero quickly pulled his shoes and socks off and dove into the cold water. When he broke the surface he noticed Duo was no longer on the shore.
It was eerily quite in the clearing. Heero looked around wildly with worry for his secret crush. Hands grabbing his feet pulled him under. When he broke the surface again he saw a laughing Duo. Heero's face screwed up in anger and he dunked Duo under and held him there for a few seconds then let go. Sputtering, Duo glared at Heero.
"And what was that for?!" Duo exclaimed while Heero glared at him.
"You pulled me under." Duo sighed as he turned away from him and swam towards the shore where their clothes were. Heero hesitated for a second than followed. Duo pulled on his clothes while mumbling under his breath the whole time.
"See ya' back at the house Heero." Duo said. With that parting he turned and made his way down the path back towards the safe house. Heero waited until Duo was well down the path until he climbed out of the water to get dressed. With his clothes on, Heero went deep into the forest letting go of the glamour that hid his defining elfin traits. His teeth and ears grew longer, stopping at their appropriate length. He stopped his walking, pulled of his shirt and closed his eyes in concentration. Out of his back sprouted a pair of sky blue angel wings, another trait that he received from his Shinshi.
Opening his eyes he continued walking, slowly gaining speed until he looked like a bluer to the human eye. He went on like this until he was miles away form the safe house. Heero noticed that up ahead the trees gave way to a field. Upon reaching the field he started to flap his wings and managed to catch gust. Heero flew around the field for an hour. He landed and ran back to the house in human guise.
