Itel: Of course i like it anyhoo before Wufei starts to rant about his role in both of my fic's please onward with the story.

Wufei: I do not rant.( folds arms while laughing is heard in the background.)

Shadows of Darkness 1/?

Duo looked at the gaurd in front of the door he had to go in and a unholy grin came to his face as he came up behind him without a sound.

The man turned and saw the boy behind him just standing there and for some reason he was frozen by the violet glare, Duo slowly put his finger to his lips as he leveled the gun to the gaurds face with a smile then waved as he pulled the trigger.

Blood splater onto his face and the mans body fell to the ground, Duo didn't even bother to wipe it off his face he just walked to the door and took out his lockpick not worried about anyone coming along without him knowing becuse he would hear them before they would round the corner.

Quatre keep watch as he stood in a darkened corner not to far from where Duo just killed the gaurd he didn't know why Duo just knock the guy out but he saw the look on his friend face and it bothered him there was no humor in the eyes they were blank.

Duo looked around and saw two men at the computer walking over to them he tapped one of them on the shoulder. "I belive you two are in my way."

The men looked shooked as he looked at the boy who had blood all over him not knowing what to say they looked at each other then the boy who they noticed had a long braid, One of the men went to alert some help.

"Now why would you do something like that eh?." Duo said with a smile rasing the gun then just as quickly as he smiled his eyes narrowed on the man who moved. " Now let us have some fun without any interuptions."

Quatre was still on the lookout a man with stacks of papers and forms in his hand walked pass him the young man walked behind him and knocked him out then jumped when he heard two shots and a scream coming from the room.

Thinking his friend needed help Quatre ran to the door and was shocked to find that he was wrong, Duo shoot the man who was going to press the button for help but the man was alive while the other man was pinned to the desk with a knife in his hand his blood dripped down onto his co-worker who was shot in the stomach and leg.

"Is everything ok.?" Quatre asked as he took everying in then winced when Duo gave him a grin he never saw on the violet eyed man face before.

"Just fine why did you left your post are you trying to get us cought?." Duo asked narrowing his eyes at his friend and to Quatre suprise aimed the gun at him right between the eyes. "Go back i have everything under control don't i guys."

Quatre paled when he realized that if pressed the issue Duo would without question shoot him just to finsh the mission. "F..fine."

Duo patted the knife in the kneeling mans hand making him cry out as he sat at the vacated seat the half dead man on the floor was sitting in and went to work forgeting about Quatre.

The Sandrock pilot was shaken but went back to his post to make sure no one was coming trying to get the thought of Duo's gun pointed at him, Deep in thought about the events that just took place Quatre almost missed the two gaurds walking pass him by time he notice them they were almost at the door looking at the dead body on the ground.

Two shots was heard then Duo came out the room he didn't look shocked to see the two guards in front of him, Quatre watched in amazment as Duo shoot them point blank before they even got a chance to aim.

"Am so sorry Duo i wasnt paying attention" Quatre said feeling ashamed for his mistake and cursed himself for not paying attention, Duo didn't say anything his eyes showed nothing that was going on in his mind.

Duo looked at the man Quatre knocked out and shot him before shoving Quatre into the wall and holding his gun to the blonde head.

"I told you to look out if you can not do that then what is your use?." Duo hissed pressing the gun harder into Quatre head. " Maybe i should just save us the trouble of a weak link."

Quatre eyes went big he didn't know the person in front of him holding the warm gun to his head and from the tone in Duo voice he knew what Duo was saying was no bluff to scare him. " Duo i said i was sorry i would have shot them before you came out but you got them before i did..it was a mistake."

"Mistakes are one thing i cannot have being made and negative on your assumption that you would have killed them before they pulled there guns." Duo said not letting up the gun but clicked it so the bullet went into the chamber the sound was loud in Quatres ear. " I would have been wounded or killed before you got one of them but i heard them before they reached the corner thats why i came out."

"So ..um mission finshed.?" Quatre asked winceing when Duo smirked and step closer to him until they were nose to nose.

"Not yet first i have to deal with you." Duo said then he felt air change and looked up to see Wufei looking at them.

"What in hell are you doing Maxwell?." The dark haired boy said as he stalked over to the two boy's then stoped in his tracks when he saw the gun at Quatre head. " Release him at once and lets go Heero got the data you sent him there is no time for your foolishness"

"Sure Wu-man." Duo said steping away from Quatre who slumped to the ground then walked pass them leaving the other two alone.

"What was that about?." Wufei aksed when Duo was gone as he helped Quatre up he felt the pilot shaking.

"He is insane...he was going to kill me Wufei just becuse he thought i endangered the mission." Quatre said as they made their way trough the halls.

"Thats not like him." Wufei said softly as they came up to where they entered the building passing the dead bodies that wasnt there before he figured Duo was out already.

From the darkness Duo came up behind them aiming the gun narrowing his eyes then quickly put it down. "There you two are i thought you both were lost."

Wufei and Quatre jumped the dark eyed young man had his gun aimed at Duo by habit then lowered it when he saw who it was, He noticed the narrowed eyes looking at him as if to dare him to shoot before the look was replaced by a smile when the gun was not a problem anymore. " Why were you in the dark i thought you were already out."

" I wanted to make sure you were not being followed..also i took out the two obsticals in our way." Duo said noding to the bodies then held up his knife with a smile but it wasnt normal happy smile but it was happy for another resason the other two didn't want to think about.

In a lab on L1 Two old men looked at a series of computers with frowns on their face, they looked at each other and then back at the information on the computers.

"Well the training went well with them and they are matched to each other but are they even safe?." Dr G said as he looked at his Friend who shook his head.

"No and we can't do a damn thing about it they both are killers perfect even thought you insisted Duo have a more cheerful image" Dr J said then turned in his chair trying to forget what he read about what he and G did to the two boys they trained to pilot.

"Yes but he will drop that soon..him and Heero balance each other and even though they both are even in everything i made sure Duo doesnt show it becuse it would clash with the image." G said then frowned deeper. "but they both are unstable and we can't correct it."

"How long do we have before his image you gave him brakes?." Dr J asked leaning in his seat not liking the look on his friends face he wished he rethought what they did to Heero and Duo the other Gundam trianers were not happy about what they found out and didn't want the other boys in contact with the two young men but he and G made them feel more easy when they were told that Heero and Duo were fine now he didn't know if he even think that.

"Soon and when he do Heero will not hold back on becoming the leader by any means." G said grimly standing up he remeber the training unknown to the others Duo and Heero were trained together since they were little even though everyone thought that they met for the first time when Duo saved the Darlin/Peacecraft girl who been following Heero around but that was just a show for the girl. "But we both know that they want to brake the others."

"Yes to make them work more to their liking..as Duo said that boy scares me..hell both of them do." Dr J said as he shook his head when he remeberd when he yelled at Duo during a lesson and Heero showed him never to do any harm to the longhaired boy hance why he now have an metal arm Duo was laughing as he screamed in pain while he was bleeding he had to pled for them to get help. " Am only still alive becuse they said they still needed to know more."

"Yes never bother or harm Duo when Heero is around and visa versa" G said with a wince.

"So what do we do they both know that we know what they are really like so when everything go to hell we are as good as dead before we could do any damage to whatever they plan." J asked even thought he knew there was nothing they could do. " We can hide out."

"No they will find us without any problem." Dr G answered shaking his head sadly knowing they were sitting like men on death row without knowing when their day will come.

The three arrived at the safe house late but Heero and Trowa was still awake, Quatre ran to his boyfirend and held him tightly making the tall boy look at him concened.

"Love..what is wrong your shaking." Trowa asked sitting them both down the blonde never let go of him he looked at Wufei and Duo for an answers since Quatre wasnt saying anything.

"Maxwell scared him." Wufei said snorting before sitting down on a chair next to the couch.

"But what did you do Duo to give him this kind of reaction.?" Trowa said his voice was low and hard, Duo didn't say anything he just folded his arms and looked at them both.

"He held a gun to his head." Wufei said tired of Duo's silance then fliched when Duo's eyes slowly crept to him.

"WHAT! do you think that was funny Duo.?" Trowa said angery as he glared at Duo who simply raised an eyebrow at his outburst.

"It wasnt ment to be he made to many mistakes that would have caused us to be cought or killed i was going to get rid of the weak link since he can't keep his mind on what he has to do." Duo said flatly without any emotion he didn't even moved when Wufei was in his face.

"You were really going to shoot him?" Wufei asked trying to calm himself he notice the simple nod from Duo. " Even Yuy wouldn't go that far have you lost your mind kill him becuse he makes a mistake even you would make a mistake now and then."

" Incorrect i make no mistake i only do as i was told to do if the information is not perfect then those mistakes are not my fault." Duo said looking Wufei right in the eyes then took a step back to get the other pilot out his space smirking.

"What is wrong with you? Yuy do you hear this he is clearly insane!" Wufei said then turned to face Heero who was now right behind him with a look that could kill then he felt a iron grip on his shoulder.

"Get out of his face and he did what was i think was right but he made a mistake." Heero said shoving Wufei back into his seat before turning to Duo.

"Wait you say he should have did it..by all means please tell me what was the mistake." Trowa said growling as he stared daggers at Duo who didn't look affected by anything until Heero said he made a mistake and then and only then did he look hurt.

"Mistake Heero..?." Duo said in a small voice that sounded confused as Heero stalked towards him and grab his hair.

"If you were going to do it you should have just done it before Chang walk up on you." Heero said yanking Duo braid so hard the boy fell down to his knees tears spranged in his eyes.

"FUCK! your both are insane what the hell kind of trianing did you two have humans make mistakes." Wufei said standing up holding Trowa back when the taller boy jumped up to get ahold of either Duo or Heero but both boys didn't even look worried.

"Everyone please stop!" Quatre said winceing from all the emotions he felt before he looked at eveyone his eyes glazed over as he tried to breath what he felt coming from Duo and Heero scared him not to mention it hurted to even feel something that dark coming from his friends.

"Trowa take him to his room tolet him rest this is over." Heero said pulling Duo out the room by his hair ignoring the growling from Trowa. " I have to talk with Duo."

Wufei looked back at Trowa and Quatre sitting on the couch before sitting back down in the chair he left.

"They are not well maybe it's just the stress we know Maxwell is not like that." Wufei said his voice sounded like he was hoping he was right.

"No Duo knew what he was going to do he would have killed me...you didn't see him when we got to the place he enjoyed killing those men he even killed the one i knocked out" Quatre said in a lobored voice looking down at his hands he still felt the gun on his head. "We do not know them..but i am afried that we will."

In the room they shared Heero shoved Duo into the room making him fall to the floor but he cought himself before impact.

"You should have just shot without pausing." Heero said locking the door then turned to Duo who was staring at him then bowed his head when those blue eyes were on him.

"Sorry ..i ..he's my friend ..but thats no excuse." Duo said still looking down he felt Heero's hands around his neck.

"We have no one but each other like always you jepordized that for someone who could have got you killed." Heero sneered as he added pressure to his hands still wraped around Duo's neck making the braided boy gasp but didn't try to get away from the choke. " you are making flaws left and right maybe this image of yours is making you forget what is inportent."

Duo noded then fell to the floor sucking in breaths as he looked up at Heero as the other boy took out a belt, his eyes went wide as he tried to get to the door.

"Leaving i don't think so Duo." Heero said grabbing Duo's braid yanking it so the fleeing boy fell on his butt then looked up at him.

"Fine..where do you want me.?" Duo said folding his arms as he looked up at the grinning Heero.

"Kneel on the bed and don't move since you didn't solve the probelm that came up we are going to fix it ." Heero said then let go of the hair in his hand.

Duo walked over to the bed and did as he was told then closed his eyes as he then cried out when he felt the frist blow then without delay the others came harder the the last making Duo fall on the bed but Heero didn't stop he knew that Duo was going to take it but the hits were not for Duo himself and he knew that what he was doing did not affect him if they were for him.

The three in the livingroom listened in horror to Duo screams and the hits, Quatre cried out feeling the hot pain coming from Duo before passing out.

"Take him to your room and lay him down he had enough today." Wufei said then got quite when he was the only one in the room then sat down trying to block out the noise, Trowa came out the room when he was sure Quatre was ok.

"They are doing that to get to Quatre" Trowa said glaring at the door where the screaming was coming from.

"I figured that was the case...we need to get away from them." Wufei said as he turned to face his friend but never said that he thought it was doubtful that they could get away .

Trowa noded knowing that was the best thing to do becuse Quatre could not take anymore from the two in the room.

Heero let the belt fall from his hand and pulled Duo to him and kissed him as they layed on the bed grinning at each other.

"You think it work." Duo asked breathless with droping eyes as he winced as Heero ran his hand on his back.

"They will try to leave." Was all Heero said ignoring Duo's question as they layed on the bed both of them had the same thing in mind

" That can not happen." Duo said voicing both of their thoughts as he layed on Heero's chest looking up at his lover.

"It wont." Heero said then kissed Duo on the forehead before closing his eyes, taking the hint Duo did the same with a small smile
