Summary: Duo had been caught stealing from a powerful Lord’s shipping organization. He is then transported to said lord’s estate on an island that holds only the Lord’s servants, the Lord and himself. How is he to survive and still hold onto his rebellious nature when he starts to show feelings for the very man he despises?
Dedicated to: dkAdeena. She gave me the plot bunny and well…here it is. It was originally suppose to be a one shot but it grew out of control once it was in my possession. Who knows, maybe it’ll be a nice continuation.

Chapter 6
"Run."
"What?"
"RUN!"
Duo jolted at the shout more than he did at the clearly not human roar. He swallowed his pulse in his throat as he was tugged to his feet by the other. Opponents or not, survival was key. "What the hell are we running from?!" He called after the dark haired man. Wufei didn't answer. He quickly took the braided youth by the hand and practically dragged him along the beach. They had made it just a few kilometers from the spot they had been in when a large troll came leaping from the brush. Its beady eyes scanned over the area frantically. A club was clutch in one of its large leathery hands.
"What the fuck?!" Duo squeaked taking in the ten foot tall creature. The skin, the color of dried mud, had to be at least three inches thick. Something so big was never found on the L2 island.
"We have to get out of here." Wufei stated not looking over his shoulder. A troll was the equivelant of a rhino. The species was known for its bad eye sight and short temper. Normally that was nothing to worry about in other species but when one got to be the size of a small elephant there wasn't much to stand in the way. Not even spells could detour an enraged troll.
The troll roared again. Saliva flew from its mouth as it turned its head side to side so that the roar, along with its bad breath, could carry in all direction. It couldn't find what had woken it from its slumber but it did spot something that looked familiar as far as its blurred vision could tell. It growled low in its throat eying the braid that bounced against Duo's back as he ran. Taking quick thunderous steps, the troll took off behind the two. "HOLY HELL!" Duo panicked moving his feet to run instead of just following behind Wufei. It only took a few steps before the braided American was ahead. Wufei gawked but quickened his steps either way. Even if they were the smaller and more lithe ones compared to the troll, they didn't want to be close enough for the thing to swing that club.
"What...is...a troll...doing...here anyways!" Duo panted almost falling as he cut into the vegetation. Wufei followed not answering. Trolls weren't indengous species on this island.
"Do you have somewhere to hide?" He aksed. Duo cursed. He didn't want to show where he'd been hiding but they didn't have much of a choice. "Grab on!" He called making the signs for his teleport spell. He felt a hand grab onto his shirt and muttered the single word to activate it. Their forms disappeared just as the troll to the first swing t them.
Wufei and Duo reappeared inside of the latter's hiding place but not before swinging to the side and hitting the far wall. The two grunted bouncing off and landing in a heap on the ground. "Gah...get off me..." Duo grunted pushing the other off roughly. "Gosh, what was that?" He asked pushing off of the ground quickly.
"It was a troll if you must know." Wufei grunted sitting up slowly. He ran a hand throw his hair. His ponytail was coming aloose. "Someone must have put it on the island...I need to tell Yuy..." He shook his head slightly feeling some aches from he previous fight coming down on his shoulders. He sighed and finally pushed to stand up. He slowly took in the area. For some reason he was expecting something a little more...intricate, like a small house underground.
"Hey hey hey, don't get comfortable. You're out of here as soon as tubby is gone." Duo pipped up. He grumbled haughtily as he made his way over to his hammock. He made a point of flopping down on it letting it swing side to side. "Why haven't you taken me in to 'Yuy' yet?" He asked.
"He ordered me not to make a move." He answered looking over to the other and gauging his reaction. There was none. None outwardly anyways. Duo frowned deeply but made no movements. His mind was trying to figure out why his pursuer wouldn't want him taken in when he was so close to getting him.
"What game is he pulling?" He whispered more to himself. He sat up slowly glaring at Wufei. "I'm coming with you." He stated with all the finality he could with such a half formed plan.
Wufei's eyebrows raised visibly at the statement. "Are you sure?" He questioned. Duo shook his head and stood from the hammock. "Just lets go before I realize how stupid this is?" He stated crossing his arms over his shoulders. Wufei couldn't argue with that. He nodded instead. "Alright..." Wufei stated not understanding any of this. He shook his head slightly. These two had to be meant for each other. He reached into his pocket pulling out a scroll.
"What's that?" Duo asked coming to a stop.
"Unlike you, I'm unable to do teleportation spells." Wufei stated letting the scroll unravel. If Duo had anything to say in response or any doubts about going, he didn't have a chance to voice them. The scroll was read and the two dissolved within a matter of seconds. They reformed moments later in a whole different place. Duo gawked. His head tilted upward taking in the high ceiling lined with golden trimming, down to the arched windows of...an office?
"Ah...hello, theif."
