Prologue

Mr Maxwell looked round the kitchen of the small house. His oldest son is standing leaning against a wall, his wife Helen is cooking dinner and his only daughter was helping. He looked to the table to his youngest child. The 15-year-old boy looked up feeling his father's gaze on him. The violet eyes met his father's cobalt blue ones. Mr Maxwell felt his heart break at the sorrow in his son's eyes. He didn't want to sell the boy, but out of his three children Duo was the most beautiful and would get him the most money.

The Maxwell family were poor farmers that helped out everyone they could. They worked in the fields most days and sold what they could and saved the rest for food, but there was never another money to buy more seeds or any more food than just corn. But the other day while Mr Maxwell and his youngest Duo were out at the market, the Lady of the Estate approached Mr Maxwell.

Lady Hilde was still very young and her own father had just passed away. Her mother had died in childbirth and her father refused to take another wife, so he spoiled Hilde and she grew up believe that whatever she wanted she would get. She owned over 200 aches and that included the village in which the Maxwell's lived. The city was just outside her land and was into the Yuy's lands but she still went there, as it was the only place in miles where a market laid.

*A few days early*

It was at this market in which Duo caught her eye. When she first saw him and the long chestnut braid that hung down his back, she thought it was a girl but when Duo turned round and she saw the flat chest and the violet eyes she knew that she was a he and that she HAD to have him.

She had approached the two Maxwell with ease and Duo and Mr Maxwell both bowed as she came near.

"Thank you but that is not needed here." She told them, for the top of her white stallion. She was dressed in a pale yellow dress, which hung low on her chest, showing off her small breasts. "This is not my land therefore I am not important. However can I have your names?"

"My Lady I am Father Maxwell, I run a small farming business as well as the Maxwell Church. This is my youngest son Duo Maxwell."

"Tell me Father Maxwell how much do I have to give you in order for me to buy your youngest son?"

That question left Maxwell wondering what the hell she was talking about. Duo was moving away from Hilde heading towards the cart, which held the goods to be sold.

"What do you mean My Lady?"

"I want to buy your son. I'll give you anything you want for him. Tell me your price?"

Duo and his father changed a look and Mr Maxwell turned back to Hilde. "My son isn't for sell."

"I could give you a bag full of gold which will last you and your family for five years." Hilde said, she moved her horse closer to Duo and eyed the young boy. "Come here." She ordered. Duo walked forward, his head was hung low. "Look up." He raised his head until his eyes met Hilde's. "How much?" She asked again.

"I told you my lady, my son is not for sale."

Hilde made her horse circle round Duo and she ran her eyes over his body. Baggy brown trousers and a dirty white t-shirt that was ripped clad his body. The long hair was pulled back in a rough braid. But no matter how tacky the clothes were and how dirty he was, nothing could hide the beauty that lay before her eyes.

"He's gorgeous." She purred and reached out to stoke the brown bangs that hung over the boys face. "He would make a prince proud. I will pay a million gold coins." She held her head high and turned to look at Mr Maxwell, who seemed to be lost for words.

"A million gold coins?"

"Two millions!" She changed her price. Duo was looking at his father. "Five millions and that's my final offer."

His father looked at Duo, who looked back at him already knowing that five millions gold coins could last the family for their whole lives and any child they have lives. He also knew his father would say yes.

Mr Maxwell loved his youngest more then any thing but for five millions gold coins he would sell his soul to the devil.

Hilde smirked; she could see that she had won Mr Maxwell over. "I'll be by in a few days to pick him up."

She then totted off and Mr Maxwell and Duo hurried home.

*Present time*

"Duo..."

"I know Father." Just like his looks, Duo's voice was also one in a million. The soft gentle tenor and gentle features made Duo Maxwell an angel.

"Five millions gold coins Duo. I couldn't earn that even if I worked for all my life and yours."

"Still, we'll miss you little bro." Catherine walked forward and hugged her brother. Duo hugged her back. "I'm sure Miss Hilde will let you come and visit."

"Of course he can. Any time he wishes as long as someone comes with him."

The family look to the only door to the outside in the house at Lady Hilde. She wore simply blue robes and looked round the small dark room like it was a stable. Mr Maxwell stood and Helen grabbed Duo and kissed his forehead. "Be safe my child." She whispered in his ear. Duo nodded and nodded to Trowa who closed his eyes and opened them again as a good bye. Hilde handed over a few bags of gold coins.

"You will find that is the right amount. Come Duo, your new life awaits you."

Unable to speak Duo just followed her. He understood the reasons why he was going but it still hurt and he knew that he would never be able to change Hilde's mind over buying him. There was a large gold and silver carriage waiting in the yard and Hilde was helped into it. She turned and smiled at Duo.

"Do you care to join me?" She asked and patted the red velvet seat next to her.

"Yes My Lady." Duo climbed in next to her and she called to her guards to move onwards. She turned to Duo.

"Don't worry my Love, you'll love living with me." As she spoke her hand slipped up Duo's thigh and squeezed Duo's member. "It'll be fun."
