Notes: There is suppose to be a Hx2 rape scene but I can't bring myself to do it. Wufei is very OOC in here, but he is also very caring for Heero!

Chapter 5 - Confused

"He is quite a looker."

Heero glared across the chessboard at Wufei, he chose to ignore his friend and moved a piece on the board.

"He was also very friendly and charming." Wufei pointed out noticing the way Heero's eyes narrowed at him. "Pretty, beautiful even. He doesn't deserve a life of a pleasure slave."

"What is your point?" Heero hissed.

"If you marry Hilde then you can keep him safe."

Heero paused for a second thinking then shook his head.

"I cannot marry Hilde." Heero stated and stood up. He moved to the window and sat on the same seat Duo had been sitting on early that day. Through the darkness he couldn't see much. Lights from the stables were on but that was the only movement in the grounds below.

"Hilde is wrong to treat someone the way she treats her slave. Yet she brought him and he is hers. There is nothing we can do. As much as I hate to admit it."

Heero snapped his head round. "How do you know him?"

"I met him early today. He was heading up to her chambers while you were at dinner."

Heero glared harder at Wufei before turning back to look outside trying to calm the raging feelings inside of him.

"Relena always says you should talk about your feelings. I'm here to listen."

"Thanks but I don't want to talk."

Wufei nodded. "I understand. One piece of advice: If I had kept running away from my feelings then I would have never realised Sally felt the same way as I did, now look at us. Expecting our first child and I bet she's working. Stupid onna should be resting…" And still muttering to himself the older man left the room leaving Heero to his thoughts.

Duo sat in the chair by the window. It was pitch black outside, not a single star shone in the heavens. From Hilde's window you couldn't see the stables and the light Duo would of welcome as a lover.

"Duo."

Duo turned to face his mistress. Hilde was naked, standing in the doorway that separated the outer chambers from her bedchambers.

"Come my love." She purred, her index finger stroking the air towards her.

The sight of Hilde with no clothes on did nothing for Duo, part from making him want to be sick.

Taking a deep breath Duo stood from the cool window seat and moved towards her. Her lips closed round his and Duo wanted to fight but he knew that no matter what Hilde would have him tonight and fighting would just turn her on even more. So he laid back naked on the bed and let her do as she wished.

Wufei's words had hit their mark and Heero's hand brushed across the seat. His hand caught a piece of golden brown hair and he lifted the long strand to his face.

"Is it true? Everyone says it. I hide from my feelings when I don't understand them. Is this what Relena feels every time she looks at Dorothy? And what Wufei feels when he holds Sally in his arms? When my father held me as a baby did he gaze upon me with feelings of love and joy shining in his eyes?"

Yes Heero Yuy *was* talking to himself.

No Heero Yuy *wasn't* going mad.

Heero was just trying to sort out the mass of feelings swirling round his brain, that since setting eyes on the braided slave had been messing about and playing with each other. Butterflies danced in Heero's stomach at the thought of Duo, red hot angry filled him as he thought of Hilde forcing Duo in to bed, the thought of Hilde taking away Duo's bright eyed innocent made Heero's blood boil.

Heero left the warm window seat and put the fire in the heath down. It was way to hot in here but in the morning it would be freezing. Heero laid down on his bed, hands behind his head and he stared at the white ceiling.

"What can I do?"

Duo sobbed silently. His own body had betrayed him. He had laid back, shut his mind down ready to take what ever Hilde planned but the feel of her hands, mouth and warm wetness had made Duo's body react in a way that made Duo cringe at the thought but had made him beg for release.

Now Hilde was fast asleep on her large bed and Duo was curled up back in his black tight clothes in the window seat again. He wished for a star, so he could make a wish but wishing wouldn't make the feelings of self hate and disgust go away.

Duo tried calming his raging body down. The feelings were too much and he started to cry again. He could just image his family's reaction to see him like this. This wasn't *their* Duo. Their Duo was a strong fighter who didn't let any one push him about yet here he was, here Duo was, crying because a girl beat him and tainted him. In a way he had a right to cry but this boy that was crying *wasn't* Duo.

Duo suddenly raised his head and wiped the tears away.

"Tell me to submit and I'll fight, tell me to love and I'll hate, tell me I'm weak and I'll prove I'm strong, tell me I'm pretty and I'll cut my face up, tell me to stay with you, to live with you and cherish you… and I'll run away… as fast, as possible."

Duo stood up and looked down at the sleeping Hilde.

"No body owns my soul. Own my body, use my body as you will but my soul will stay strong. I'm leaving. With luck I'll never see you again."

In a strange trance of calm Duo walked through the halls, head held high. No one questioned him. His violet eyes flashed dangerously when G tried to stop him from taking a coat. G backed away and Duo walked out of the main door leaving it open, letting the cold night in to the warm house. G watched Duo's figure hurry down the drive way and out of sight.

G slammed the door shut and hurried to Hilde's chambers.

"Lady Hilde. Forgive me."

"What do you want!?" She yelled covering herself up and glared at the old man. Her eyes flickered across the room. "Where is he?! DUO!!!"

"He can't hear you ma'ma."

"Why not?"

"He's just walked down the drive and into the night."

"And you let him?" She yelled.

"There was nothing I could do. I told you when you first got him there was a fire burning in him."

"Find him and get him back NOW!"
