Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ Steel Angel Heero ❯ hagane tenshi toriko ( Chapter 1 )
Heya! I've started yet another series…it's not really a lot like `Steel Angel Kurumi' but I did get inspired while watching the show and I haven't seen that many fics out there with androids and such so I tried to be original…heh. Just a warning it may get a little confusing so you're going to have to pay attention or you could get lost…gomen!
Anyway tell me how you like this…it's experimental so if you don't like it your feedback is crucial and would be very appreciated...thank you! ^^;
Disclaimer: Neither Steel Angel Kurumi or Gundam Wing is mine…I own neither and I never will…I also don't own the idea of androids …heh sorry had to cover my ass…
Enjoy and Review!

A satisfied smile slowly spread across cold lips, as a small figure ran faster then the eyes could catch through twisted metal gates and out into an open field. Suddenly the figure stopped, yards away from the gates and the building enclosed behind them, and the small body stood unmoving. The smile that smeared full lips minimized into a mischievous smirk when nimble fingers suddenly pushed a button concealed under a thin wrist. Within seconds a deafening blast sounded from the gray building and the sky lit up in a bright explosion. The figure, who was now hunched over slightly, began to shake uncontrollably as maniacal laughter fell past crazed lips.
Smoking pieces of rubble and shrapnel floated down onto and around the figure as he straightened. With closed eyes the laughter settled into gentle giggles as the figure began to walk away from the rubble and fire that was once a hidden military establishment. The slender youth walked with a grace not possessed by humans and a sense of power that didn't seem to fit his slight frame. As he walked away from the burning base and along the edge of the surrounding forest the small boy's head suddenly shot up and he gasped, his eyes widening as he dropped face first into the dirt.
He could feel the wind pick up slightly as the body that was meant to impact his, went right over him. Gritting his teeth, he flipped over himself to land in a standing position. No one had ever managed to sneak up on him as well as this person had. The other's body had barely missed him and had gone completely undetected by his censors until the moment when they were upon him. However on a different train of thought it excited him that someone might actually pose a threat to his mission, finally.
The boy barely had a moment to think as the other rushed at him in the darkness and managed to land a punch to his stomach, causing him to falter slightly. The boy smirked and looked up from his crouched position on the ground to suddenly lurch to his left as a strong fist hit the ground, causing it to cave in and dust to fly. Standing to the side he frowned, the other seemed to be getting more serious about hurting him. Watching the dust fade and the other rise up from the punch, his midnight blue eyes calculated the other's body and assessed her weapons, both visible and non.
The other had to be female, he thought but a quick use of his scanners told him otherwise. The long braid trailing down the other boy's back wasn't conventional for his kind, but this person didn't strike him as the conventional type so far. He grunted when the other was suddenly behind him, his arm coming around his neck to shove his head back and cut off his air supply. Growling, he grabbed the other's arms and flipped him over his head to hit the ground hard. Once the other was on the ground he straddled him, pinning both his arms to the side of his body.
He smirked above the other, catching glimpses of pale skin and an blank expression, he was sure his strength was unmatched, this boy wouldn't be standing until he wanted him to be. Staring down at the placid face, he blinked when the drawn lips slowly lightened into a malicious, and strangely confident grin. The longhaired boy beneath him began to shake in the effort of pushing the other's arms off of his own. The strong youth on top gasped and struggled to keep the other's arms at bay, his censors were going crazy in his head, telling him he was using too much of his strength and his capacity had already been met as he continued to push against the other.
Deep blue eyes widened in the dark as the other boy's strength only seemed to increase and he began to easily push the boy off of himself. The shorthaired boy grunted as he was suddenly on his back, and the other loomed over him, his hand latched around his throat, holding him almost effortlessly. Gritting his teeth, and not used to being overpowered, the boy on the ground gathered his energy, he had one last defense the other surely wouldn't know about. The braided boy above him held both of his hands within one of his own, and he suddenly jerked one out of the grasp to hold it up to the other's face. A dim red glow came from the boy's hand and suddenly a ball of pure energy shot out, hitting the longhaired boy square in the face, and sending him flying backwards.
Jumping lightly onto his feet and leaping up into a tree with little effort, the shorthaired boy panted slightly, his eyes and scanners working hard to find where the other had landed. Suddenly his breathing stopped, and he stood motionless above the ground, his body rigid as the other boy came into view. Sapphire blue eyes roved over the other's form, saving it into memory for when he got back to the lab, his slim brows furrowed slightly as he took in the other's feature's. Pale skin and a long braid was all the darkness allowed him to see, his real eyes searched deep though, and showed him the explosives and cannons hidden within the other.
Swallowing to himself, he struggled to stay still in the branches and behind the leaves, he could detect the scans the other was making across the land and he didn't want to be caught in the radar. Lowering his energy levels and mellowing out his circuits, he only prayed the other couldn't detect metal. Older models hadn't been created with metal detectors simply because they took up so much space in the mainframe, however lately a new chip had proven to make cybots (1) even deadlier, leaving more room for a metal detector and enabling them to detect up to five times more adequately.
Alarms went off in the boy's head when suddenly his sirens alerted him to a scanning be done over his body. He stiffened, knowing the other had found him, and crouched slightly, preparing to jump. He blinked his large blue eyes however, when the other merely stared at him and turned around walking away deeper into the woods. Frowning as the other disappeared he could still detect him on his radar and made sure he followed him all the way until he was out of range. Landing gracefully on the forest floor, the dark headed boy sighed, he hated this new program the doctor had downloaded into his system.
Bringing his slender fingers up to his arm he winced as he pinched down hard on the synthetic skin. His creator had downloaded his newest system into him, a system that enabled him to feel both physically, mentally, and emotionally, giving the doctor the chance to train him harder. Rubbing his arm slightly, he looked back over to the rubble that was currently smoking. That was another reason why he hated this new program, he could feel remorse. Gritting his teeth, he took a step forward, preparing to go back to the lab when suddenly the air was knocked out of him as he was tackled from behind.
Grunting slightly from the force, he rolled the body on top of him, causing them to tumble down the hill in a mass tangle of limbs. The unprepared boy gasped when his arms were suddenly pinned to the ground and the looming figure over him spoke. "Illegal cybot number 001. You're going to have to come with me, by order of the Gray Corporation. (2)"
Hearing that, sapphire eyes widened, taking in the slightly glowing violet eyes and long braid hanging over the other's shoulder. This was one of his creator's enemy's cybots. He struggled, he wouldn't be taken in by that weakling's cybot who was years behind on research, and thus disappoint his creator. The other's hands only tightened around his wrists, as he struggled, and he wasn't pleased at the pain he felt. Relaxing his body as the other straddled him he calmed down, letting his arms lay on the ground limply in the braided boy's grip. Gradually the other's fingers went lax around his delicate wrists and he smiled inwardly, seeing his chance.
Seconds later, he crunched his upper body forward, throwing his head against the other's in a brutal head-butt. The impact caught the other off guard and caused him to fly back into the grass behind him. Flipping backwards into a handstand, and back springing a few feet away from the other fallen boy, the blue-eyed youth rubbed his forehead slightly, and watched as the other stood up quickly. Obviously the G Corporation hadn't advanced far enough to design a training chip with human emotions and feelings seeing as the other felt no pain and had merely been thrown back by the previous blow.
Baring his teeth angrily when the other merely continued to walk towards him, the shorthaired cybot raised his fists, backing up slightly. Suddenly the braided boy bolted and was before him within the second. The smaller of the two darted his head to the side quickly as a heavy punch was thrown directly for his face from the violet-eyed cybot. The two parried for hours, tirelessly until finally a single punch was landed in the brunette's stomach and an electric current was sent into his body through the connection with the fist. Doubling over, blue eyes blinked up blearily at the looming figure until a hand came down and pricked the skin on the back of his neck, effectively rendering him unconscious.

Heero held back a groan of pain, his head was throbbing, making him despise his creator's new invention even more. Opening his eyes slightly, he feared running a scan on his location, lest it be detected. The room he was in was all white and the over head lights glared down on him as he tentatively tried to pull his hands in to himself. Realizing he was tied down he tried to calm his censors and look around. Suddenly a large gray coat obscured his vision and he struggled not to blink.
"Cybot number 001 of sector 195L1 A.K.A Heero Yuy." The booming voice sent his tracers on a rapid search and a single image showed up in his memory, his creator's enemy, Professor Gray. He remained motionless as the other continued to speak, "Do you know why I've brought you here?" The question was followed with silence from both parties and the boy tied down on the table merely listened. "You are Dr. Jay's most powerful and," he paused, tracing a single finger down the other's cheek, "Beautiful creation. For years I've been straggling behind, scraping together androids and robots that couldn't even compare to those of your maker's cybots."
He paused, his voice had gradually risen in volume and he was almost yelling by the time that he'd stopped himself. "The good Doctor could've completely controlled cities with the power he possessed in you, but now…" he trailed off again and Heero could hear the other's empty laughter. "Now that I've created 002 I'm afraid your master's a step behind."
Before the last word had even finished leaving his lips, the elderly man reached back and slapped the delicate face hard, causing it to twist to the side immediately. Opening his eyes, he turned back to face the decrepit looking man, and glared at him heatedly. "Shut up you crazy old bastard," he said, his voice frigid and even. The shorthaired boy could feel his anger coursing through him as a result of the program, how dare this imbecile even hint that he matched his master in skill and intelligence.
At his heated comment the old man merely grinned cruelly, "You've finally decided to stop playing possum I see." Cold blue eyes merely glared back defiantly, the small Japanese's chest rose and fell as he repressed his anger at being captured. "So you don't think I've progressed enough to challenge your master's intellect?" the old man continued, and when he received no reply he turned away from the small body restrained on the table and stepped over to a large display of computers and wires.
There was a long silence as the old man stood, his back to the dark-headed cybot until he finally spoke, queuing the small boy's interest. "The boy who captured you earlier? With the long braid? He is 002 he is your match and maybe even more, seeing as he captured you so easily. A task, I might add, which has not been accomplished in over fifteen years since your creation.
Once again unable to hold his tongue in thanks to the chip, which pulsed in the back of his mainframe, the small boy snapped angrily, "What would be your point, professor?" Hearing a light chuckle from the hunched figure only angered the small boy more as he continued, "You and your master both are so oblivious to what goes on around you. So comfortable and secure in your power that neither of you noticed while it slipped away."
Dark brows furrowed at the comment, what the hell was he talking about? Before the blue-eyed youth could query the old man spoke softly, "You think you are the only one who has been experimented on with a personachip? (3) Blue eyes widened while the other went on, "I have an entire army that has developed their personalities and conquered them while you are a mere child in your new self."
The elderly professor stopped and turned suddenly, "I've even managed to be able to remove the chip at will and put it back with the cybot's personality still in tact." By now the small boy on the table was breathing heavily, how could this have happened? His thoughts and ramblings in his head were interrupted as the other hurriedly added, "002 has already developed quite a complex personality. Even down to defining his sexual preference."
Feeling a false blush rise to his cheeks at the mention of the other cybot's sexual preferences, the blue-eyed boy continued to glare defiantly, "I don't believe you," he said evenly and turned his face away.
Merely chuckling in response, the professor stepped over to the table and peered down on the headstrong boy, "Oh no? Would you like to meet 002's personachip?" Clenching his jaw tightly and not saying a word, curious blue eyes darted across the room when the professor crossed back over to the main computers and requested 002 over the link. Within seconds the sliding doors to the room hissed and slid open, revealing a lean figure that stood at attention, his large iris eyes blank.
The weathered professor smiled and beckoned the other in. Steady footsteps clicked throughout the otherwise silent room as the braided boy came to stand in front of his master. The professor held out his hand, a pair of tongs with a small chip held within them, "I'm going to place your personachip in 002." After saying this he proceeded to slice through the back of the other's neck with a small scalpel and gently slip the small chip under the skin and seal it with a burning pen.
All the while back on the table large cobalt eyes stared in wonderment when the large blank eyes blinked twice and brightened visibly. Suddenly an easy-going smile broke out across softened features. The taller boy grinned and his posture relaxed as he waved to his professor, "hey!" he chirped and swung around as he felt eyes boring into his back. As he turned his breath caught when his eyes fell on deep Sapphire, he blinked and smiled, regaining his composure and his eyes quickly darted away, traveling across the other's body.
Walking over to the table with a gentle sway of both his hips and his braid he leaned over the table and looked down on the other curiously, "Yo Professor? Is this the boy I brought in earlier?" he had an innocent look on his face as he examined the other on the steel top. The older human hummed and nodded, hobbling over to stand next to him and grin down on the other boy leeringly.
"Indeed he is, Duo. I'm glad to see your memory is improving," the elderly professor's yellow teeth glinted as he smiled crookedly up at his creation. On the tabletop Heero frowned, what did he mean his memory? Hawk-like eyes caught the action and the old man explained, surprising the dark-headed boy, "When he doesn't have his personachip in the things he does are not automatically stored into his memory mainframe," he explained. "So when he gets his `personality' back he doesn't really remember his missions or what he did at all while he was his normal synthetic self. However clearly his abilities to process and download memory are improving with practice."
After hearing the plausible explanation, deep blue eyes quickly refocused back on large, deep violets when a large hand was outstretched to him. "My name is Duo, Duo Maxwell." The smaller cybot glared up at the boy, determined not to speak, but his personality got the better of him and his defiant side showed it's self. "I don't give a damn who you are, and in case you didn't notice my hands are tied."
Large amethysts blinked slowly and realization dawned within them and a slow artificial blush made it's way to the other's cheeks, "Professor?" The old man merely turned to look at his creation in response. "May I shake 001's hand?" Large, almond eyes blinked and fine brows sunk in at the question. At the elderly man's nod, Heero gasped as he felt his hands were suddenly freed. Jerking up, without a thought, to grab at the confines around his ankles, he screamed when suddenly he felt electricity pulse through him and jolt his circuits.
"Ah ah ah!" he could hear the crotchety man behind him say, "Now don't move until Duo has secured your hands please or I'll have to shock you again." To emphasize his last statement a sun-spotted hand raised with a small taser that jolted slightly with blue electricity. Then there was a click and large sapphires flicked from the small device down to his hands, which were now clasped together securely, much to his disapproval.
Heero blinked when once again the large, smooth hand was placed before him and the silky voice spoke a soft `here' offering his help. Grudgingly taking the hand within his own, the smaller boy stood fluidly, but blushed as he was pulled a little too roughly into the sturdy chest in front of him. Clearing his throat and looking down at the hand that still held his own, he swallowed, daring to look back up into bright violets. When his eyes locked onto the soul-searching orbs, he gasped when a new emotion etched itself behind his eyelids and scanned across his mind.
Love.
