Relena stepped down from the podium. Four hours had passed since she had first stepped up there. "Better than the last one at least," the Vice Minister sighed. "I have no idea how the press found out about the breach of security within Preventer head quarters."

"I heard about that," Hilde acknowledged. "Heero stepped in and saved face for the Preventers on that issue!"

"Well he did discover the architect behind the plot to assassinate me and the perpetrator was almost as talented as Heero in his accuracy at hacking and decoding, " Relena shuddered. If it hadn't been for Heero uncovering the assassination plot before it had come to fruition, there could have been an untimely ending to her career. "The security breach proved to be more than a headache for the Preventers for quite a few months after and the press wouldn't leave me alone either!"

Hilde reached out and gave the young woman a hug. "Let's get you back to your place, and then you can be `Relena' again. Your job here is done for today. It's after eight pm now, you've been here for over four hours and I think that we should leave before the reporters start getting a little too friendly," she said, pointing at the group of very eager paparazzi that were gathering out in the foyer as they snuck behind one of the pillars adjacent to it.

Heero lifted his head and got up from the bed, grabbing his robe. "It's only eight thirty five Duo."

Heero let out a quiet, amused laugh as he headed out of the door and off towards the phone. It had been ringing nonstop for the past five minutes, relentless in it's mission to attract attention. Heero gave a small sigh as he reached out to pick up the receiver, bringing it up to his ear. "Maxwell-Yuy residence…"

"Forget the formalities Heero, it's Wu Fei…" The concerned voice echoed.

"What's up Wu Fei? " Heero asked, noting the tone of his friend's voice.

"It's Sally… She's missing!!"

Heero's eyes widened. "Missing; what do you mean *missing*?"

A worried sigh escaped the Chinese man's lips, something Heero wasn't used to hearing. "As in no one's seen her. She hasn't returned home from work, but they found her bag lying near her car."

Heero's mind started ticking over, "Call the others, we'll meet you at the Preventers HQ in a half hour. I'll call Relena and see if she'll watch Itel for us."

"Thank you Heero, I appreciate this. I know how important today is for you."

"Don't worry about it Wu Fei. I'm sure she'll understand," Heero replied sincerely.

"I'll see you soon then Heero." Wu Fei ended the conversation and hung up the phone.

Heero placed the receiver down again. Grabbing his cell phone from the charger he entered Relena's number, continuing back towards the bedroom to inform Duo of Sally's sudden disappearance and change of plans for the evening.

Relena and Hilde finally made it back to the Peacecraft estate without being hounded by the press. The two girls were laughing at how Hilde had accidentally run into one of the young paparazzi by the fountain and knocked him into it head first, camera and all.

Hilde found herself blushing too. She had secretly hoped that she would be able to spend a lot more time with Relena during her stay, but she hadn't imagined staying with her for the entire period. "I'd love to stay here with you. Thank you so much Relena.
