Prologue

It was prophesized that one day, five warriors, the first a wielder of both magic and weapons, the second a fey youth more beautiful than can be described, third will come from the sea, the fourth a kind hearted mage and the fifth an expert blade master with the power to wield fire on command, shall arise from all corners of the land and sea to save the world from an evil mage, that gains power from the essence of darkness. If they do not arise, the world shall perish and darkness shall rule forever.

The five prophets looked at each other in silence as they read the prophecy again and again. "What do we do now?" A man with shoulder length white hair, and an artificial hand asked the other four in his company.

"Wait for it to come true." The second answered, one of his eyes, the only one visible, glowing with hope.

"What if it doesn't come true? What if the prophecy is wrong about the five warriors that are to save the lands? The land will plunge into darkness forever." The third asked, as he scratched his magically induced nose.

"We can't allow it to be false." The fourth replied as he looked up at his four companions.

"Then we must ensure that it does." The fifth responded. His large frame showing his tension. The other four nodded in agreement.

None of them spoke another word as they formed a circle and began to chant.

They would ensure that the prophecy came true. They continued long into the night as well as the next day, but the next night they slowly vanished, as their plan was set in motion, off of the face of the earth.
