Chapter 17
Trowa was looking for Heero. He had heard what happened between him and Wufei, and he wanted to know how Heero was doing. So far, Trowa had checked for Heero in Heero's room, the cafeteria, and Heero's brothers' room. He hadn't been in any of those places, but Trowa had met a nice man named Rhys in the seniors' room. Rhys was about Trowa's height, in his mid-twenties, wore his hair in a braid (much like Duo, only not nearly as long), and Trowa could've sworn that there was something going on between him and Rafe.
Now Trowa was back on the junior floor; he was going to check Heero's room one more time. Trowa was almost to the door when Duo and Quatre came out of the room. They went in opposite directions: Quatre to Wufei's room, and Duo to who knew where. Trowa decided to follow Duo (the two hadn't seen him yet because the hall was full of guys; juniors, sophomores, even seniors, all lurking outside of Heero's door, hoping for the chance to get a "date" with him) because he figured that Quatre was just going to comfort Wufei.
He followed Duo through the crowd and was shocked when he stopped at Milliardo's door.

Duo left his room and weaved his way through the crowd. It disgusted him to see how many people came to catch a glimpse of "His Royal Slutress," as some of the guys had taken to calling Heero. Duo stopped at Milliardo's door and banged on it, yelling for the R. A. to let him in.
Duo had expected Milliardo to avoid him, so he was completely taken aback when the door was opened. Duo looked into Milliardo's seemingly innocent eyes, and became overwhelmed with how much he hated the man. Duo had disliked him before, but this time he had gone too far.
"Good morning, Duo," Milliardo said cheerfully, as if he had nothing wrong. He was fully dressed, his blond hair framing his face; he looked absolutely stunning. "Come on in. Is there a problem I can help you with?"
Duo stalked into Milliardo's room. "You're completely evil. Did you know that?" Duo asked. "All of your siblings--Quatre, Relena, Iria, the other eight--are so sweet it's almost sickening, but you, you're pure, concentrated *evil*. How could you do that to them? You claim to care about Heero, yet you--"
"Whoa, wait a minute," Milliardo interrupted. "I said that I *want* Heero; I, in no way, care about him. He's just a toy, like all the others were. Although, all the others were virgins...I guess I'll just have to figure out a way to discredit that nasty rumor "Wufei" started."
"And just how do you expect to do that?" Duo said. "And even if you *do* mange to, somehow, stop that rumor, who's to say that Heero would even want you? He'd probably want someone nice, someone sweet, someone like--"
"Like you, maybe?" Milliardo interrupted, again. That was getting to be a habit with him. "Well, dearest Duo, I'm not going to tell you how I'm going to get the lovely Mr. Yuy in my bed. What do I look like, some super-villian from a '70s T.V. show who tells the hero every last detail of his diabolical plan, only to have the hero foil it and save the day?"
"No, you're not that stupid," Duo admitted. "And I wasn't going to say "like me"; I was going to say "like Quatre"."
Milliardo looked at him, as if to say "Sure you were".
"Well, whatever," Duo said. Milliardo's nonchalant attitude about the whole matter was making Duo angrier by the second. "Just rest assured on this, Mr. Winner, I will pay you back for what you did, and it will not be pretty. By the time I'm finished with you, you will curse the day you even heard the name Heero Yuy."
After saying that, Duo turned on his heel and stomped out of the room, on his way to join Quatre in comforting Wu-man.

Trowa, thankfully, realized Duo's intentions in time to be able to step back into the crowd before he left Milliardo's room. Trowa had been standing next to the door and heard the entire conversation--nymphs had ultra-sensitive hearing, much better than a human's. He now knew who had *really* printed the posters, and he had to tell Heero.
Only the question was, where was Heero? Trowa mentally smacked himself on the forehead as he remembered the only place (besides Wufei's room) that he hadn't checked. Trowa ran to the nearest stairwell, overflowing with boys, to get to the place he and Heero first met.

Rafe leaned back into Rhys's arms, the older man playing with his hair. This was the first time they'd been alone in weeks, what with the move (planning for it always took most of Rhys's time; after all, he was the princes' head bodyguard) and all. It had taken hours of subtle hinting, but finally Leif and Eric left to do...whatever it was that they did.
"I've missed you," Rafe said, nuzzling Rhys's hand. And he had, so very much. It was one of the problems of being with someone secretly. But they couldn't date openly; his mother would have a cow. It was unheard of for Sidhe nobility to be with someone of the warrior caste. "I love you."
"I love you, too," Rhys said, stopping his petting of Rafe's hair. "But..."
"You're worried about Heero," Rafe said.
"Yeah," Rhys admitted. "Ever since that nymph came here, the thought that maybe Heero's hurt as something has been gnawing at my mind. And you know how Heero can get when he's upset; he's not too rational then. So..."
Rafe sighed. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Let's find Leif and Eric, and we'll all go look for him."
Rafe climbed off his bed and grabbed his jacket, throwing Rhys's to him.
So much for "Alone Time", Rhys thought, as they left the dorm room.
