It's sad but I got only one single review…until now…. but still..thx a lot for that one… I'm feeling a bit better now… and a … wave of inspiration hit me… so I'm writing this as long as I remember all the stuff that came to my mind… but I'll probably wait a bit until I post it… maybe…. I woke up when the sun was slowly rising on the horizon, colouring the sky like everywhere else as well,orange and pink. But the sea… I stood up from where I was lying on the sandy ground, not caring that I was still naked. I went to the end of the cage and looked at the water. I think there's nothing more beautiful than the red colours of the sun glistening in the sea. Strange that the events of last night came back to me while watching the sea. Maybe it was because of Duo.
After we had kissed, we did it again. And again. Each time more fabulous and wonderful than the last. Somewhere inbetween, my clothes somehow disappeared and, as I noticed later, the same happened to Duo's. Well, for all of you hentai minds out there, I'm NOT gonna give you the details or anything. I mean, this is kinda private, you know. Still, I can tell you that it was…. unbelievable. I never thought that sex with another man could be this good. We even did different styles…. But oh well… no details. I'll just tell you that another man inside of you feels absolute wonderful, warm, breathtaking, simply …. unbelievable.
I smiled to myself as I looked behind and saw him still sleeping, somewhere beneath our pile of clothings. Although we had been so close together, and although I confessed my feelings towards him, I still couldn't find out WHAT he was. It made me sad somehow that he didn't trust me enough to tell me. However, since I studied psychology for some time I knew that he had to be afraid of humans somehow. No matter how much he hid it, I could see it, I could feel it.
The big question was just: why. But the fact that he was afraid opened a new view for me. It meant that he had to be something, or someone, who had been betrayed or badly treated by humans. And since he wasn't human himself, it meant that he had to be either some kind of animal or some kind of mysterious creature like a unicorn or …whatever.
I heard him groan slightly as he rose a bit from his spot, and I quickly moved over to him and sat down right beside him before he had even opened his eyes.
"Morning, Duo." I whispered into his ear before giving him a quick kiss. It seemed that his senses quickly came back to him as soon as I had given him the kiss. He smiled at me before cracking an eye open.
"Morning." He whispered back, voice still hoarse. Oh well, I guess he wasn't all too awake right now. Well, after all we were quite active last night. NO, not only in the way you're thinking. We had swum near the beach, visions only lit up by the moon himself. It had been a bit dangerous, but it was wonderful. Not to mention what fun it can be to do things like a tickle war inside the water. Of course you can do other things as well, but they're half fun and more… wonderful.
However, the resolution was the same and both of us had been death tired. I quickly located my clothings in the pile under which Duo was still lying partwise. He looked at me in a strange way and I smiled at him before dressing quickly.
"I'm not on holiday, you know? I still have to report the resolutions of my observation from yesterday. Not to mention that I have to do some more today." I quickly explained before looking for my shoes. But I soon remembered that they were lost somewhere on the way here. That reminded me…
"Duo, how am I going to get back to the main island?" I asked him while he slowly dressed. He yawned and stretched a bit before answering me.
"Well, same way like yesterday. Shall I help you with your ….. observation a bit again?" He smiled. One of those smiles you could die for. And I nodded, not resisting and going towards him to kiss the lovely smile. Guess what, he kissed back.

"Ah, wait, Duo!" I shouted while jumping to the next little rock. Duo had guided me to a wonderful place where there were so many orca whales. And there was a cave and some funny little rocks in the water which you could use to jump onto. From rock to rock. It was fun. But Duo was so much faster that I wondered what he really was. I wasn't too clumsy myself, but I had real problems not to fall down from the slippery stones.
"Oh, c'mon, Heero. Hurry!" He shouted happily while waiting on a bigger rock quite far away from my place. Well, it wasn't all that far, but I had to hop until I would reach Duo. So it was far away.
"I'm not a frog, Duo!! I have real problems to hold myself onto those slippery stoney thingies!!" I shouted while waving my arms around in the air in order not to fall down. No luck though for I lost my balance and fell down, backwards. But instead of hitting my head somewhere and getting some cuts and bruises, an orca caught me and carried me to Duo.
"Thanks." I patted its head and it made happy noises before I stood up and Duo hugged me. I was a bit startled at first, but hugged back nevertheless. Until Duo suddenly let go and all noises, which had come from the other orcas around us before, disappeared. And as I turned around, I saw one single whale in front of us. It seemed quite old, many scars and old wounds marking its skin. I suddenly felt sorry for the whale and had to think about all the terrible accidents I've heard about. I just hoped that this whale wasn't going to tear me into the water and eat me in order to release its anger against humans. Before you wonder, I'm not making this up. You all know orca whales other name, killer whale. Now that name isn't just made up as well. Orcas are famous for their `brutal' hunting habits. Sometimes, not always, but still often enough, they hunt bigger female whales and their babies. That alone can take about half an hour. As soon a the little whale gets tired, they're able to separate the baby from their mother. And then, the brutal stuff starts. They bite, hit and hurt the little whale so long that it can't swim properly in the end and drowns. Then the orcas eat it. It sounds cruel, but it's not as cruel as human habits like cutting off a shark's fin's and then throwing it back into the ocean -alive. However, all thoughts were forgotten as Duo started `speaking' with the creature.
Okay, it was no real conversation but they exchanged funny sounds and in the end, both looked at me. Fter a painful silence Duo finally explained everything.
"Uh, Heero? This," he pointed at the whale, "is Bela. My mother." I gasped and my jaw dropped. Staring at Duo, I gulped for a few times, standing unsteady. I couldn't trust my eses what I just heard!!! I mean, right? Suddenly I slipped and hit my head immediately, blackening out just a second later.

"Uh….where….." I mumbled while rubbing my head. A splash of water made me gasp and I quickly bolted up, not understanding what had happened. I quickly regained my senses and noticed where I was - still on the little rock, the whale still in front of the rock, Duo still standing there. I rubbed my head as I felt the pain from the impact before. It quickly came back to my mind what Duo had told me just a few moments before. Or had it been a few hours?
"Duo? Uh, how long have I been knocked out?" I asked. And he quickly answered.
"Just a few minutes. It seems that you're surprised that she's my mother. But at least you can stop wondering about what I am ..was…." He stopped talking and bowed his head. I didn't quite understand at first, but then it suddenly made click inside my head and I yelled.
"You're a whale?!" He just nodded silently, not looking up once. I was really astounded as I thought about it. I mean, what would you say if you slept with someone and you love that someone and then it turns out that this person is actually a whale!! I quickly sat down, too shocked to stand on my own. The orca in the water made some funny noises again and Duo answered with other funny noises while I stared dumbfoldly at some spot in front of me. Just why?? My mouth suddenly went off without me and asked just that.
"Why, Duo? Why are you a whale?? I mean, If you really are one, then why are you looking so human like right now?" Desperation marked my voice. All the dreams of being together with him suddenly vanished from my mind. I felt a tear rolling down my cheek and realized that I was about to cry. But I quickly whiped away the salty drop and stood up, not even waiting for his answer and going back to the cave. Duo didn't stop me. Maybe he felt I just needed to be alone right now. It was some kinda shock after all.
After I finally reached the cave, I sat down and pulled my knees up to my chin, hiding my face between them. Things were taking a not quite pleasant way right now. And there was nothing I could do about it.

About half an hour later, I glanced outside and saw Duo still talking with his mother. But I could hear some parts of it, even from that distance. And he spoke normally right now. But the things I heard weren't all that wonderful.
"Mother, don't be upset." He started, and the whale answered with furious sounds. It sounded upset already.
"Listen, it's not like I promised him anything." A short silence before his mother answered with just a single sound. Hell, what where they really talking about?
"Mother, You have to understand this. He could be useful." The whale didn't answer but my heart did for it suddenly hurt terribly. Use??? What the hell did he mean?!
"Look, he could lift the curse, mother. Everything would be fine again, understand? We will be one united family again. I will be me again, no human anymore. Isn't it what you want as well?" The whale made some happy sounding noises, but I didn't care anymore. I quickly took a few steps forward and walked towards one of the other whales. Duo, however hurt me, and he froze as he noticed the horrified look in my eyes.
"Heero…" he said, low. He sounded guilty. But it was too late right now.
"Hey, can you bring me back, please?" I asked the orca in front of me. And it simply offered its back to me, and so I rode home, not caring about the shouts and yells of Duo. He could yell as long as he wanted, I didn't care anymore.

"Yeah, you heard me right already. I want to go back as soon as possible." I paused, readjusting the phone in my hand while listening to the `boss'. I called him `The boss' since he was the one who got me all those jobs I did.
"You can't just leave now! The time right now is wonderful for observation. And it would take weeks until the next man is aviavable again. Right now I have all my men working somewhere. Yuy, I can't take you back right now. Stay where you are and finish your work."
"But…" I tried to argue, but he left me no chance.
"No buts. That's final. Do your job and present the resolution afterwards." With that, he hung up and I quickly threw the phone into one corner of the room. I could hear that it just fell into its separate parts, but I didn't care. I was too angry and too damn hurt to think about my cell phone right now.
Not only that I just realized that Duo had USED me, but now I even couldn't leave without losing my job completely. Great. The only thing I could do now was to sit in my room and put down what I had seen the last two days.
It wasn't easy. I had to think all the things that had happened the past days, and of course, my memories kept returning to Duo. Just why?? I had never been the luckiest one concerning love things, but this time I thought I would really be the lucky one. Of course, I wasn't. Justwhy did fate hate me with all its heart?
I chose to ignore it and concentrate on my work again, no luck though for my mind kept returning to Duo. Sighing, I surrendered and stood up,quickly lying down on my bed and throwing the blanket over myself. Right after that, my tears started falling and I cried, mixed feeling surging through my body. I mean, here I was, thinking that I've found love ofmy life and everything, wondering myself why I had those feelings within a few days, and now I had to find out that Duo had faked his feelings for me. And what was the curse he was talking about?
In the end, I cried myself into sleep, one question hammering around my head, working as some kind of odd lullaby.
Why did Duo lie to me? Why did he have to break my heart? Why did he have to be so cruel in the end? And why hadn't he been earnest right from the start?
Just…. Why?
