Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ The Psionic Saga ❯ Chapter Eleven ( Chapter 11 )
Chapter Eleven.
Duo slept. His sleep was quiet, comfortable and for some reason had the same exotic scent as Wufei. It wasn't until he woke that Duo understood why. Looking around Wufei's room, Duo let the scent of the Chinese boy wash over him.
Spice, he thought languidly.
Forcing himself out of bed, he stretched his limbs and wandered to the shower, heedless of what Wufei might think. The water was icy fresh and woke him in seconds but he stayed a few minutes longer than he needed, just letting the cool water wash over his hot skin. He could vaguely recall Heero carrying him to bed and the mere thought of it was driving him half mad.
Dressed once again, hair hanging in a wet braid down his back and dripping annoyingly on his shirt, Duo dared to enter the living room. All in all, it didn't look too bad. There was no longer a tv, a phone, a microwave, or a stereo...Duo was not sure what happened to the stereo. He looked down at the braces he had put on his lower arms and grinned. They worked amazingly well...if Quatre could just learn how to take it in small doses so Duo didn't find himself nose diving after the first few seconds.
"Maxwell."
Duo jumped and turned to face Wufei, who was leaning on the frame of the front door, hair pulled back sharply, unsheathed blades in hand...
"You know I really didn't mean to hurt your microwave," Duo stammered, walking backwards and fiddling with several knobs on his wrists, wishing he had Quatre's set to pinpoint Wufei's bio-electric frequency.
"I know."
"It was an accident...hang on...you know? Since when?"
"You will build me a new tv, stereo and microwave by the end of the week."
Duo gaped, his mouth moving with a remarkable resemblance to a fish. A guppy perhaps. Floundering, Duo wondered where he would find the parts, already very much aware he could not escape his fate. After all, this was Wufei, with swords...Something suddenly struck Duo as rather funny and he stood straight, stopped walking backward and grinned.
"You don't want me to make you a phone?"
Wufei's face went a strange purple colour and his jet gaze focussed on the couch. It was facing the door, so Duo could not see what Wufei did. Hence, Duo quickly rounded the couch and laughed, winking at Wufei's scandalized face.
"Yellow bunny, brown bunny and your couch...maybe Heero should have put me on the couch and let them have your bed, ne?"
Wufei stormed back out the door to the sound of Duo's laughter ringing through the dorm.
Quickly checking all the dark corners Duo confirmed Heero was nowhere to be found. Quatre and Trowa were still fast asleep, so Duo left the dorm and headed for his favourite clearing. Aware he was walking alone, Duo flicked on his Psion-bands, as he had come to call them, and opened the frequency to include random bio-electric currents above ordinary human emulsion.
Satisfied the device would alert him when danger was near, Duo grabbed some spare bits and pieces from his pockets. He had brought them to Wufei's in case he needed to make adjustments to the Psion-bands, but now he didn't need them he had thought of a much better use. He had a few spare chips at home and knew where he could buy the rest of the supplies...
Whistling loudly, Duo began to make a mobile phone.
He reached the clearing without incident. Not bothering to look up, Duo climbed the rock and descended into the small alcove he considered his. The only problem? Someone was already there.
Duo let out a loud squawk as he sat down in someone's lap. He looked up from the work in his hands in shock only to find himself gazing into impossibly bright blue eyes.
"Hilde?"
Hilde leant forward, resting her hands on his knees. Another set of hands came around his waist and pulled him hard against someone's chest, strong hands wrapping around his wrists and anchoring them to a stranger's thighs.. A male chest Duo's mind screamed loudly.
"Hello Duo," Hilde purred and Duo finally noticed she wore a thick black cloak, the hood trailing down her back. Her black hair was loose and wild and there was a loud fizzing in the air.
Duo looked down at his wrist and realised the warning light on the left Psion-band was flashing a bright purple. Gulping in a mixture of fear and astonishment, Duo tried to press the trigger on his right wrist only to find he could not lift his hands.
"Someone's been a busy boy," a male voice huskily whispered in his ear. Duo squirmed, trying to free his hands but there was the strange sensation that his body weighed a tonne and nothing he did could move it.
Hilde suddenly lunged forward, pressing her lips hard against his. Duo screamed against her mouth but she only forced his lips open with her tongue and pushed past his teeth, invading his mouth.
Something cold and metallic clicked around one of his wrists. Duo knew the sound. Had heard it on his own wrists many times before he was taken in by the church orphanage. Cuffs.
The man holding him pulled Duo's hands over his head and moved around him to sit beside Hilde, one strong arm holding Duo's cuffed wrists to make sure straying fingers did not meet dangerous metal-clad wrists.
"Ingenious work," the man said, a handsome smile on his lips.
Duo spat in his face, recognising him instantly. Treize Kushrenada, Milliard Peacecraft's best and most loyal friend. They did nothing without one another.
Hilde reached out to lick the spit from Treize's face, making Duo want to vomit. This was not happening!
"You turned me down one too many times, Duo Maxwell," Hilde said as she leant forward and claimed his mouth once more.
Duo hardly even noticed Hilde's mouth, aware that a very masculine hand was groping him. Duo tried to keep a straight head, tried to use his brain to devise a plan, but his body was screaming and his concentration didn't last.
Hilde's hands had worked their way under his shirt and her mouth was working at one of hi nipples. She was mumbling under her breath, speaking softly to Treize as the older boy pulled down Duo's trousers and pushed his hand under the waistband of the black silk boxers beneath.
Duo screamed as skin touched skin, kicking and wriggling wildly, but two bodies pressed him hard against the stone and that one muscled hand still held his firmly cuffed wrists.
Wrists...cuffs...
Duo forced himself to relax, to think only of his wrists, his hand, the joins between. At the same moment he felt his organ enter some hot, warm cavity he bellowed and snapped his left hand in just the right way. It dislocated and he hauled it out of the cuff, slamming it palm down against the trigger on the right Psion-band.
A wave exploded against him, electrical currents being dragged from all kinds of living entities around him. Things he had not considered, like the local flora and fauna, entered him as electric waves he had no prior knowledge of; no idea how to control. His body shook with the impact, but most of all he felt the heavy slam of human in his veins.
He slowly became aware to two bodies heavy against his own. Opening his eyes, which he realised he had scrunched up, Duo shoved Hilde and Treize to the side and hauled himself out of the rock. Stumbling, he fell down the side and landed in the grass below.
Tears were in his eyes as he belted his trousers once more. He could not be bothered fiddling with the buttons, wrapping his shirt tight about his chest and running from the clearing. He did not turn the Psion-bands off, leaving them on their sensitive setting regardless of what it might do to unsuspecting passer-by's.
He ran blindly and hit the wall of his dorm. He felt his way to the dorm door, unable to see through the tears blurring his vision and hurried through the dorm levels to the fifth floor.
The door to his room was locked. Some part of his unconscious knocked on the door and Heero appeared, face blank as always. Duo pushed past him and hurried to his bed. It was clean and tidy, for some reason he could not fathom, the myriad manga's piled neatly by the bedside.
Duo didn't care, he climbed into the very corner of the bed, curled up beneath the blanket and facing the wall, let the tears fall.
Some time later a gentle hand fell on his shoulder, questioning. Duo flailed uselessly against the touch, his strength leaving him. In time he realised the eyes before him were not blue but Prussian and he collapsed completely against Heero's chest, wailing in anguish.
Heero's hands caught on the cuff's still attached to Duo's right wrist and his eyes took in the settings on the Psion-bands. The arms tightened about Duo's form and refused to let go.
