Now, normally any first day on the job is nerve-wracking, but this was Anna's first day as a maid in the Winner household, and she had absolutely no idea what to expect. Ordered to clean the large front room, she was working through the china cabinet when she heard heavy footsteps pounding across the ceiling. A moment later, someone came barreling down the stairs at breakneck speed. He was clad all in black with a long braid flowing behind him, and he clung to a lap top he had cradled in his arms.

"Get back here!" a loud voice came from the top of the stairs, but Anne couldn't see the speaker.

"Beeeda!" the boy replied, sticking out his tongue. "If this is the only way I can get your attention, fine!"

"Duo!"

"You never pay any attention to me, just your stupid laptop! I like to do more than eat, sleep, screw, you know!" A fearful look spread over the boy's face, and he vanished out the front door. A second later, another boy came down the stairs dressed only in a tank top, spandex shorts and yellow sneakers. He glared after the boy, glared at Anna, then turned and glared after the boy again as he took off in hot pursuit.

Oookayyy...she thought to herself. Trying to forget what she'd just seen, she went back to work on the china.

"Hiyaa!"

Anna looked out the window and spotted a young Chinese boy in a blue tank top and white pants executing an amazing spin kick seven feet up in the air while bring a sword down as he landed. He shot out three lightning quick punches and kicks, then backflipped out of sight.

Wow...back to the china, Anna, gotta finish the china...

"No, Trowa, I do not bleach my hair!" she heard another boy start up from the dining room. She turned and spotted a small blonde boy that looked familiar followed by another, taller boy with one doozy of a bang. "And I will not let you watch me wash it!"

"But can't we just shower together?" the tall boy asked. "I could do your hair, you could...well, I could kneel down and--"

"No!" the blonde came close to whining, but he was so cute it wasn't annoying. "I'm saving myself for marriage!"

"But we're already engaged! Or...is there someone else?" the tall one asked. "You're seeing Wufei, aren't you?"

"No, never," the small one said reassuringly. "I swear you're my one and only. Shall we set a date?"

The tall one nodded silently and escorted the blonde up the stairs.

Just do the china, Anna...don't worry that you're talking to yourself...just clean the china...

"Maxwell, get out of the way!"

"Duo, move!"

Anna turned back to the window just in time to see the Chinese boy's sword ram into the display part of the laptop as the braided boy backed away furiously. The boy in the green tank top finally caught up to him and seized his braid, yanking him backwards into his arms.

"Oh...bummer, Heero..." the braided one smiled sheepishly. "You still love me, right?"

Without answering, the spandex clad one threw the braided one over his knee and gave him a sound spanking right then and there, ignoring his howls and thrashing. Then he put him over his shoulder and started to haul him back to the house. "Wufei, would you mind--?"

"Coming," the Chinese one sighed, eyeing the laptop stuck on his sword. "I will need help getting this off my sword safely."

The little procession marched into the house and up the stairs, and the tank topped one only glared at Anna once.

What kind of madhouse have I gotten myself into? Anna wondered.

Ten minutes later, the five boys, in one big group, came running down the hall as quietly as five teenage, love-sick, hormone-laden boys could. The Chinese one was in front, sword drawn to quiet anyone who might try to stop them, while the green tank-topped one brought up the rear, handgun in one hand and the black-clad boy's braid in the other. The braided boy followed with a cheeky grin that belied the smacks he'd received earlier on his rear. In the center, the tall one was carrying the blonde one who also had a small suitcase.

"But why do you need to elope?" the braided one asked. "Who do you have to hide the marriage from?"

"No one, it's just for speedy convenience," the blonde one smiled. "That way Trowa and I can shower together, and then...well..."

"Damn it," the Chinese one grumbled, picking up a box of tissues as he went.

"But you don't need to be married to do that," the braided one grinned. "Heero and I do it all the time!"

"Not again," the Chinese sighed, pulling out another tissue.

And they proceeded out the door.

And later that evening, Anna handed in her immediate resignation, citing only "those strange teenagers" as the reason.

The End
