Chapter 5

It had been 2 hours since Ariel had asked to untie her and Leslie. Upon having her request denied she decided to try to annoy Duo and Leslie continued to stare at Wufei.

"What's your favorite color?" Ariel asked Duo

"Black" Duo said simply

"Really? Interesting" Ariel acted as if she were mentally writing something down.

"Stop starring at me!" Wufei half yelled after Leslie had stared at him unblinkingly for the last 2 hours"

"......"

"What are you looking at"? Wufei asked angrily.

"......."

Ariel noticed that Wufei was yelling and Leslie wasn't even saying anything back. "Oh dude don't even bother trying to get her to stop now she's probably mentally reading a book or sumthin."

"Shut up". Wufei said to Ariel

"Whatever," Ariel said as she continued to ask Duo stupid questions.

The next day

Ariel was still asking Duo questions and Leslie was still staring blankly at Wufei when Heero and the rest of the guys walked in. The first thing Heero saw was Leslie starring Wufei down. He had almost concluded that the two girls couldn't possibly be spies- most spies would have tried to kill themselves by now- but went back to thinking that when he saw how both of the girls were looking at his fellow pilots.

"I have a few questions I'd like to ask you two", Heero began.

"We're not spies", Ariel and Leslie said in Unison.

"Yea Heero man I agree with them", Duo said, "I mean common Wufei and I have been watching them for two days and they haven't even tried anything suspicious."

" Hm", was all Wufei had to say about it.

"Well since I think we've figured out that you two aren't spies why don't you tell us where you're from"- Quatre began.

-"and maybe we'll let you go"- Trowa finished. He himself hadn't watched the girls at all but doubted that they were spies.

"No we won't, not until we figure out why they were in our lab walking around in the dark". Heero contradicted.

"There they go again," Leslie said to Ariel as if she were the only person in the room, "talking about us as if we aren't here."

"Yea I know that is so annoying" Ariel agreed.

"Shut up both of you" Wufei said sharply.

"Why were you in our lab?" Heero turned suddenly towards Ariel and Leslie.

"Uhh...."

"Well"- Leslie began.

"We're not really sure", Ariel finished.

"What do you mean"? Trowa asked

"Well, we were at my house then the power went out"- Leslie began

"And so then we went into her garage to fix it"-

"It was really dark and just as I found the switch Ariel tripped over something and knocked me into the wall"-

"Then all the sudden we were here" Ariel finished.

"Yea it was really weird dude when you knocked me into the wall it wasn't there, we just went straight through it and ended up here." Leslie said trying to turn around to face Ariel while she was talking.

"I don't believe you" Heero said.

"Hey dude I don't get why you won't take our word for it" Leslie said to Heero. "I mean if you need solid proof that we're not spies and stuff. Here", she stuck out her leg, " in that pocket is a floppy disk that has a report that I had just typed before the power went out."

Heero pulled the floppy disk out of her pocket. It was ancient. His computer probably wouldn't even read this out dated technology. Then he thought of something- " What year is it" he asked Ariel

"2004 duh!"

"What are you two talking about"? Duo asked.

"Um the year dude", Leslie said.

"Yea but it's not 2004", Trowa said.

"It's A.C 195," Wufei stated.

"Nuh uh" Ariel and Leslie said at the same time

"Yes" all the guys said at the same time.

Ariel's POV

What are they talking about? After Colony 195? What's After colony.

Leslie's POV

This is weird After Colony? What's up with that? Did we travel through time or something?

"All right...um this is weird" Quatre said while rubbing the back of his head.

"Where are you from"? Trowa asked.

"California..." Ariel answered

"Where do you think you are right now, like what country?" Wufei asked.

" The u.s" Leslie answered flatly. She was trying to figure out what was going on-where were they,.... when were they?

"Nope," Heero said.

Trowa looked at the two girls, they looked really confused now. They now can't possibly be spies- seriously what kind of moronic spy actually walks right into the people they're spying on?
