Chapter 7

It was late and the others had just returned from their mission. It had started to rain and Heero was still watching the girls on a count of he thought he might give Duo and Wufei a break.

"Heero are you sure you want to be here alone?" Quatre had asked.

"Yes, I'll be fine. Anyways they won't cause me any trouble." Heero stated as he pointed to his gun.

"Ok then good night." Quatre had said leaving the door hanging open a little.

"Err I'm so bored!" Ariel said, "Pleeese untie us." She pleaded again for about the millionth time.

"No." Heero said flatly without looking up from his computer.

The rain continued to pour down and Leslie could hear thunder. Suddenly the power went out and everything went black. "Ariel." Heero heard Leslie say as if it were an order.

"Right." She answered followed by the sound of their chairs moving.

`Clunk, clunk, clunk' Ariel and Leslie were making their chairs hop down the dark hallway.

`They'll stop at the stairs.' Heero thought but was proven wrong a few seconds later by the sound of a loud crash.

"Ahh!" Leslie and Ariel shrieked as they fell down the stairs, causing their chairs to break.

"Ow, dude hurry we have to go." Leslie said anxiously as she tried to get Ariel's knee out of her back.

"I'm trying but you're kind of on top of me." Ariel responded with a hint of annoyance in her voice. They managed to get themselves untied, got up and started to run. Leslie turned around as the lights flickered back on just in time to see Heero jump down the stairs and come around the corner an angry look on his face.

"Hurry run!" Leslie semi yelled to Ariel as she pushed her forward down the hall. Ariel didn't need telling twice and they both ran down the hall, turning in random places trying to knock Heero off their trail. The lights flickered out again and they both ran head on into a wall and fell backwards. They could hear Heero's quiet footsteps as they scramble to their feet and went through the nearest door. As Ariel closed the door the lights came back on again. They appeared to be in a hanger holding these really big robot looking things. Leslie ran towards the nearest one and found a door, Ariel ran over to help her open it, and as soon as the door was opened they somehow managed to trip over each other into the machine. The hatch like door closed only moments before Heero opened the door.

(In the cockpit)

"Hey! Dude you're sitting on me." Leslie whispered to Ariel in an annoyed tone.

"Well there's not a whole lot of room to move around." Ariel replied and they both managed to end up in a kind of half sitting position next to each other.

(Outside the cockpit)

Heero walked into the hanger, `They won't got very far in here,' he thought to himself.

(In the cockpit)

"He won't find us in here hopefully." Ariel commented.

"Yea." Leslie, who wasn't really paying attention, answered and Ariel could see her trying to look around in the bluish light.

"Try not to touch anything." Ariel told Leslie tiredly.

"Huh?" Leslie asked as she pushed a series of random buttons.

(Outside the cockpit)

Heero heard the sound of a gundam powering up a few minutes after searching the hanger. Finding which one it was he was surprised, `Wing-zero?! They seem skilled for having no prior training to my knowledge.' He thought as the gundam became fully powered.

(In the cockpit)

"What did you do?!" Ariel asked in an annoyed hi-pitched tone.

"Uh… well I just couldn't resist pushing a few buttons." Leslie replied weakly as she noticed that the foot paddles that they were standing on had come to an up right position. "Come on; let's turn this thing all the way on."

"Aww what the heck?" Ariel sighed to herself and she started to help Leslie push the two hand levers on each side, forward.

(Outside the cockpit)

"Well they're either really smart or incredibly lucky.' Heero thought to himself as he walked up to the computer that wing-zero was hooked up to and pushed a button.

(Inside the cockpit)

Leslie and Ariel were leaning almost all their weight against the levers when the gundam turned off and the cockpit door opened. They both fell out and landed at Heero's feet.
