Chapter 1

Three years after the Eve war Heero Yuy had lived in peace and tranquility in the mountains on earth. No one bothered him unless it was for reunion sake or holiday, but other than that everyone left each other alone. Now Heero Yuy had seen Trowa and Quatre a few months ago on their marriage day. The thing that troubled him the most was that Duo was not there. Of coourse Relena was there but Heeri didn't want anything to do with her. Not after what she did right after the war. Heero never forgave her for that.

Heero sat in the living room window ledge looking out at the lake. something caught his eye. A lone figure was lying along the beach side of the lake. Heero jumped out the window and made his way down to the lake. Wondering who the hell was crazy enough to sleep out in the open when it was mating season. For the bears at least.

Duo lay along the shore of he lake, staring at the house that was perched some ways up. He saw his long time love jump out a window and make his way down. Duo smiled. If Heero only knew Duo wasn't there to see him. Duo wanted to die and the only way he knew was to commit suicide. He wanted to see if he could burn before he tried to drown himself. Duo laughed at himself. He didn't know that he was that pathetic.

Heero reached the overly green ground that surrounded the lake. As he ran closer to the figure he saw that it was Duo. Heero couldn't contain his excitment. The remaining distance between him and Duo, Heero smiled like an idiot. Duo couldn't believe he was seeing Heero smile. Getting up, Duo stretched and walked over to Heero. Only to have Heero stop to late and run right into him.

"Duo!!!! Oh my god I am so happy to see you!!!!!"

"Hey Heero! How's it goin'"

"Duo....where were you a few months back....on Trowa and Quatre's wedding?" Heero looked at Duo questioning

"I thought....never mind...."

"Duo..."

"Heero? Do you really love me?"

"Duo, I have always loved you and will always love you. I don't know why you believed Relena in the first place."

"I don't know either Heero. But hey! I'm here...your here...maybe we can be together again and piss that bitch off"

"Sounds like a plan Duo my love"

Heero and Duo turned around and walked towards the house. Not knowing that an unexpected visitor will soon be knocking on the door.
