Another battle looms before us

If I don't come back this time

Don't shed any tears for me

It was meant to be this way

 

You ask if I'm afraid

I'm not afraid to die

In fact I welcome that escape

When my time comes

 

For inside I am already dying

Each battle kills another part of my heart

Soon there will be nothing left

But an empty shell without a soul

 

 

 

 

AN: This is my first time doing anything fanfic-ish, so if its crap, let me know. All of my poetry is free-verse (because I suck at rhyming), so if you have a problem with that, stop reading it. If you like it let me know, I've got a few more I can post.
