Trapped
 
Trapped, cold chains digging into my skin
blood slowly dripping to the floor
 
No one seems to care
as I shiver on the damp hard floor
 
It was stupid to think that I could escape
He is stronger and quicker than me
 
He knows exactly what to say to bring me to his feet
His hands rough and bruising
Never letting go
 
Dirty and used
trapped, chained in the darkness
never free to look upon the beauty of the world
 
Slowly dying inside
giving up, no longer having the strength to fight
