Wufei's Justice

Chapter Five

Sally struggle to catch her breath after the most intensely pleasurable event of her life, but found it difficult with Wufei's weight bearing down on her. Yet, she wouldn't have traded places with nobody or nothing in the universe. Having him on top of her, being able to cradle his body with her own was exactly where she wanted to be.

She noted with satisfaction that his breathing was no more even than hers.

Slowly, he lifted his head, his dark eyes boring into hers. They flicked down to her chest where she was struggling to breathe and he transferred his weight to his arms and knees then bent his head and kissed her. Sweetly, chastely like he was paying homage to a queen, though he lingered much longer than any royal protocol would have allowed.

He was still embedded deep inside her.

He ended the kiss by sliding his mouth over her face, lips caressing her cheeks, nose, and eyes. Finally, he gazed down at her with an expression of grave seriousness. Sally opened her mouth to ask what was wrong, but he spoke first.

"You are so…beautiful." He said in a tone of hushed reverence as he stroked her cheek with one thumb.

Sally was rendered speechless. She'd never seen Wufei like this, well she'd never seen him naked or in the throes of passion before either. So, she was having several firsts today. Lucky her. Very lucky her. But, his words and expression were beyond anything she could have imagined from him.

"If I'm beautiful," she said softly in response. "It's because you make me feel that way."

He smiled a lover's smile at her and she smiled back.

An alarm on the satellite control panel sounded and instantly they both tensed. Danger had not gone away while they were absorbed in each other. It was still out there searching for them.

Wufei craned his head up to get a better view of the panel then glanced around at the floor.

"What's the problem?" she asked worried that they might be in some immediate trouble.

"Our backup has entered the area."

"Oh no! Wufei, we've got to help them somehow."

Why wasn't he getting up? They needed to get dressed and get to work.

He reached above her head and pulled something out from under her. His shirt.

"Wufei, what are you--?"

He pushed away from her, bracing his weight on one outstretched arm while he slowly pulled out of her, his shirt ready in his other hand.

Sally hissed as he brushed past her now sensitive inner tissues.

As soon as he was out he wiped away the excess fluid from between her legs.

Sally watched, shocked, as he first gently cleaned her then himself.

He stood, tossed the shirt away into a corner then held his hand out to her. She took it gratefully. Wondering if her legs would support her. They did, if a bit on the wobbly side. He bent down and picked her clothes from out of the pile on the floor, handing them to her. She took them silently and put them on. Wufei donned his own clothes, sliding on his Preventer jacket in place of his shirt.

Sally cleared her throat. "Do you have a plan?"

###

Trust Sally to get right to business.

Her hair was a mess, her face flushed from their earlier exertions, and her lips swollen from his kisses. He'd never seen anyone so radiant. Yet, here she was ready to battle the enemy. She was the perfect woman.

"Yes. As long as the others arrive in time, it should succeed." He went to work, typing commands into the satellite's controls as fast as his fingers would go.

"Other's? What other's?"

"Heero, Duo, Trowa, and Quatre, of course. Who else?"

Sally quirked an eyebrow at him and combed her fingers threw her hair. "Who else indeed."

"There," he said. "Message sent." He checked the position of their adversaries on the monitor. "They're going to get a real fight now. One they didn't expect and can't win."

"You don't mean the Tallgeese III, do you?" Sally asked, her eyes wide with shock.

"Yes, that's exactly what I mean."

"But, we're not supposed to use it. With the decommissioning and destruction of all mobile suits still going on, the use of one, just one by us in a military operation could destroy the peace." She grabbed his arm and spun him around to look at her. "It's a weapon of last resort."

"I know that Sally. I do. But look at them," he pointed at the screen and the six sharks hunting for prey. "We haven't got enough fire power to win any other way."

"There must be another way. This could start another war."

"I'd gladly agree to never using it, but unless another solution presents itself, we have to use the Tallgeese. I explained our tactical situation in the message and suggested the use of the suit, but I also asked for other possibilities. Quatre may think of something else."

"I hope he does, I really hope he does."

A soft beeping alerted them that a message was being received on the low band frequency. Wufei punched it up and translated it.

"Hmmmmm. It appears you were right, Sally," he reported.

"I was?"

"Quatre has some interesting equipment at that nearby mining operation. Very interesting equipment. Weapons of every type and calibre. He and the other pilots are leaving in four of the fastest shuttles the Preventers have to assist us right now." He frowned as he read the brief message. "He says to sit tight and make like a couple of trees in a forest?"

"In other words, we're not to attract attention to ourselves," Sally explained.

"As if we'd do that," Wufei exclaimed. Giving away their position would be very dangerous if not immediately lethal.

"I think he's just reminding you to wait until help arrives before you jump into a fight."

"I? Enter a battle too soon? Never!"

"Of course you wouldn't, Wufei," Sally agreed quickly. "I can't imagine where he'd get that idea." She tried to hide it, but Wufei could tell that she was grinning. He narrowed his eyes. She was teasing him. Time to change the tactics of this situation as well.

"Well, it appears we have some time on our hands," he said taking a step toward her.

She took a step back. "We have to prepare for whatever the boys might need from us."

"Boys? Am I included in that category?"

Her eyes darted down to his groin then back up to his face. A blush infused her cheeks. "No, of course not."

He smiled at her showing his teeth and took another step.

She moved back again.

"Wufei, what are you doing?"

He cornered her, put his hands on either side of her head, caging her in and whispered in her ear, "Making you ask questions." Then he kissed her.

"I love you," he said a long while later.

"I love you, too."

"When this is over, we need to talk about this."

She nodded. "Yes."

"I want us to get married."

"Married?"

"Yes. Married."

She stared up at him, her eyes wide. "Okay," she said softly.

He kissed her slowly again. "Good. I just wanted to make sure we both knew--"

"I know," she interrupted with a shaky smile. "I know."

"Good," he repeated. "Let's get to work on reconstructing those scan logs. I'd still like to know what's going on here."
