Chapter Five: M… Mother?

(Right, let's just continue shall we.)

Hitomi opened her left eye slowly; she felt paws on her, rubbing soothingly. She rolled to face whoever it was.
“Hitomi… is okay now?” Penelope was there. She looked at the hole in Hitomi's chest. “Oh… my…” She stuttered, scared at the site. “Penelope guess Hitomi lose?”
“Pen… what're… you doing here?” Hitomi tried to speak, but was lacking breath.
“Penelope had argument with Cappy. Cappy get mad and run off. Penelope can't find Cappy.”
“When… I get… better… I need… to teach… you how… to speak more… fluently.” Hitomi smiled as best she could.
“Penelope like that.”
“Pen… my coin… in the pocket… please give… it to me.” Hitomi pleaded. Penelope complied without any objections and retrieved the coin, handing it to Hitomi. Hitomi clutched it and Penelope nearly fainted when the hole in Hitomi's chest closed up. Hitomi rubbed her pregnant belly, checking the damage caused to the unborn infant. “I… do hope she's okay…” Hitomi said, in a concerned tone. “Anyway, I've got to go back. I know what's going to happen!” Hitomi said standing up. She looked around for the bonborie pair. However, one was broken. “Damn! These were my favourite toys.” Hitomi moaned.
“Penelope thinks it not wise to aggravate strangers.” Penelope said.
“It's `I don't think it's not wise to aggravate those fuck heads.'” Hitomi corrected, adding her own ending.
“Penelope remember that next time.” Penelope said, forgetting.
“Never mind.” Hitomi then walked towards the clubhouse.

As soon as she got in, everyone started asking questions.
“What happened?”
“Are you okay?”
“How'd it go?”
“It was harder than I thought. I found her, spoke to her, nearly killed her arranged fiancé AND was nearly killed by a black and white ham. Not that bad, though I must say.” Hitomi replied, scratching her head.
“Arranged Fiancé!!!” Ranma roared. “Damn it! Damn it all to hell!!!” He slammed his fists on the table, and began smoking a red aura.
“Whoa… not bad.” Hitomi said. Boss walked over to Ranma.
“Come on, man… it ain't that bad.” He said to him nicely.
“Ain't that bad! Give me a break!” Ranma roared at him. “She's the only girl I've ever cared for and I'm about to lose her!” Ranma began to seriously lose his cool. Hitomi smiled.
“Ranma. I'll make a deal with you. I kill her fiancé and you get her back.”
“You can kill who you want, but I didn't send you.”
“Fare enough.” Hitomi said. “Anyway, I doubt that they will marry at all, let alone today. So I suggest we go tomorrow.” Hitomi said.
“Fine.” Ranma replied. Hitomi went over and sat down next to Boss. Suddenly, out of the blue she grabbed her head and yelped in pain. The random serge of pain wasn't the confusing part; the fact that Hermana and Mirikania also both yelled out at the very same time was awkward. Of course, everyone who cared (which was everyone) asked if they were okay.
“Hitomi? Are you well?” Penelope asked going over to her.
“Hermana? What's wrong?” Panda asked his beloved.
“I'm fine. Just a head twinge.” Hitomi said.
“What? That was more than a twinge!!! It's like someone just threw a knife into my forehead!!!” Hermana cried out. She wasn't actually crying, though that pain made her want to.
“Well. I am fine.” Hitomi replied.
“But Miri ees crying like hell…” Bijou said. Hitomi picked up the screaming child.
“Well, she is but a baby. A pain like that would hurt.” Hitomi said.
“Hold it!” Dexter called.
“What's up?”
“What's this about Hitomi? Why were only your relations effected by this?”
“Who knows?”
“Wait. That is confusing. It really was only Hitomi's bloodline. Hermana and Miri.” Oxnard said.
“I… I need some air.” Hitomi said. She then walked outside. Where another surge of pain flew past all three of them again. “Ahh!!! Damn!!!” Hitomi said, as she held tighter to the again screaming child. Hermana was still inside. Hitomi looked into the dark sky. “When did it become so dark?”

Hitomi sat next to a tree and aloud the child to sleep. She held her in her arms and smiled at her as she searched for food. Habit. Hitomi allowed her a “midnight snack” and looked around. She felt something in the air, something that wasn't meant to be. She took Miri away from her and gently placed her on the floor. She stood and heard ruffling in one of the bushes. “Who's there?” she asked. Then a white figure emerged from the bushes. It was a white hamster with traces of pink with a long glowing white scarf. “Who're you?” Hitomi asked with curiosity. “And why do I feel like I do know you?” The white one only replied answering all questions with one sentence.
“Hello, my daughter.”

(It's short, but it works… I think. Nothing too interesting here, but just wait… next up is either going to excite you or confuse you.)
