Chapter 17

The 3rd Spirit of Iris, Boss's Confession to Bijou

It starts off with Boss walking down a little road.

Boss: Man, I cannot believe I let the sneaky little rodent get away with what he did to me.

When I get my hands on him I'll....

Bijou: Help!

Boss: Bijou! *sees Bijou hanging on a cliff* Hold on Bijou I'll save you!

He goes to the cliff where she is.

Boss: Hold on Bijou, I'm here. Just grab my paw and I'll pull you up.

Bijou: I can't!

Boss: I know you can, just try!

They try to reach each other. She slips but Boss grabs her.

Boss: I got you. Don't worry I got you.

He falls with Bijou.

Bijou: Ahhhh! We're falling!

Boss: *slashes 5 Star cards at once* Famfrit help us!

Famfrit appears and catches them in his hand. He sets them down.

Boss: Thanks Famfrit!

Famfrit: Since you only needed me for this task, no cost for me is needed. Now I shall go.

He disappears.

Boss and Bijou are walking along a path.

Bijou: Thank you for saving me Boss. I thought I was a goner for sure.

Boss: how'd you get there anyway?

Bijou: Well I was walking, and I was hungry. Then I saw some sunflower seeds over

There so I went to them. Then the part of the cliff I was on just fell. I was so scared.

Boss: It's okay now. I'm here.

Bijou: We better find Hamtaro and the others. It'd be much better if we did.

Boss: Shouldn't we rest first? I mean you were in a great shock and all.

Bijou: I'm perfectly fine.

Boss: Okay then. But let's stop at a cafe first. I'm getting hungry myself.

They reach a cafe. Boss is eating sunflower pudding and Bijou is drinking Cherry soda.

Boss: So uh Bijou.

Bijou: Yes?

Boss: Um... (I think I should tell her.). It's just that...well....I wanted to say this for a long

Time because...um....I just....well...all I really mean to say is, that I...

Cafe Manager: Excuse me you two! May I have a word with you?

Bijou: Oh sure.

Boss: Okay. (Cats!)

Manager: Someone wanted to give you these.

He gives her flowers.

Bijou: Oh! Flowers! How kind of the person.

Boss: Errr. (I wonder who sent them.)

Bijou: It's from....Hamtaro!

Boss: What!?

Bijou: Hamtaro sent me flowers? He's so generous.

Boss: How'd he know we were here?

Manager: I think he was the little hamster with orange fur.

Bijou: It must be him! He's in town somewhere. Let's go find him.

She gets off the table.

Boss: Darn it Hamtaro! Why must you ruin things!?

Manager: Oh here's the bill.

Hands him a bill.

Boss: WHAT?! 5,000 coins just for pudding and a drink!?

With Bijou...

Bijou: Hamtaro! Where are you? I now you're here! *she sees him* There you are! Me

And Boss was looking for you. Have you seen the others...?

He turns around and it's not Hamtaro. It is Blackout.

Bijou: You're not Hamtaro!

With Boss coming out.

Boss: 5,000 coins for a lousy meal. I swear I...

Bijou: Help! Help!

Boss: Bijou's in trouble!

With Bijou-

Bijou: Let me go! Let me go!

Blackout: You're coming with me little girl. Lancor is to make sure you don't interfere with him anymore. No matter what.

Boss: Hey you! What are you doing Hamtaro! *Blackout looks at him* you're not

Hamtaro! You're Blackout!

Blackout: Heh heh heh! That's right! The one and only.

Boss: You're gonna pay for what you're doing!

Blackout's eyes glow and Boss is sent backward.

Blackout: It's hopeless to beat me you fool!

Bijou: Forget about me! You can't win against him!

Boss: No! I can beat him! I can!

He charges but gets knocked backed again. And is unconscious.

Somewhere under Gijiki Island. We see the secret lair of the BA. Raishiuko wakes up in a strange container.

Raishiuko: Huh? What the? Where am I? What is this place?

Lancor: You are in the lair of the BA itself.

Lancor appears.

Raishiuko: Who are you?

Lancor: I am Lancor. Leader of the Black Alliance.

Raishiuko: You're the leader?

Lancor: Yes. And you and your friends have been captured at last.

Raishiuko: What?

Lancor: Now that I got you where I want you, using your powers and your cards will be easy.

Raishiuko: What are you talking about?

Lancor snaps his fingers and reveals her friends in other containers. But they are wearing different clothes.

Raishiuko: No...What have you done to them?

Lancor: Simple. I only upgraded them to a new level of class. Each of your friends have transformed into a Warrior, Diva, Holy Mage, Paladin, Sorcerer, and many more. We'll soon have every class that surpasses the first.

Raishiuko: Why are you doing this?

Lancor: I want to make sure that this world will be ours forever. And you and your friends shall help me do that. With these cards, and your classes, we're unstoppable!

Raishiuko: I'll never help you!

Lancor: You won't have much of a choice. We have you, and you'll work for us. There's no escape!

Raishiuko: No!!!!!!

Bubbles form in her container.

Back with Boss and Bijou, Boss is still unconscious in a new room.

Bijou: Boss! Wake up! Please wake up!

He wakes up.

Boss: Ugh. I'm awake. *gets slapped* Ouch! Why'd you do that?

Bijou: You should've ran away when you have the chance! You would of escaped but you didn't. You shouldn't of put yourself in a fight you can't win.

Boss: But what was I supposed to do? Let you go in their hands and not do anything?

Bijou: It doesn't matter. We're in here now and we have no way out of here.

Boss: Bijou I...

Bijou: Please Boss. I don't want to talk about it.

Boss: I'm just worried about you, that's all.

Bijou: I can do fine Boss. I'm a big girl for my size.

Boss: *sigh* whatever you say.

BA Guard: Hey you! Here's a package for you.

After he leaves they open it.

Bijou: "Use this to escape. Hamtaro." He sent us a key to get out of here! How thoughtful.

Boss: Hamtaro! But how he...

Meanwhile in the cave not far away, Hamtaro were continuing there training.

Hamtaro: It's a good thing you found the list the BA guy dropped Panda.

Panda: Thanks, I just hope they don't find our friends wherever they are.

Hamtaro: So do I, now let's keep training we have to be strong enough to find everyone and stop Lancor when the time arrives.

Bijou: *unlocks door* Come on! Let's go.

Boss: How he know we were here and how he get the key?

They go into a drain pipe and slide down a slide. After a while Boss lands on the side of the sewer and Bijou almost lands into the sewer if Boss hadn't grabbed her.

Bijou: Thanks Boss. Now let's go find Hamtaro.

Boss: Alright.

They go along a pathway and find a trail.

Bijou: Look! *sees Blackout, but they think it's Hamtaro* it's Hamtaro!

He runs off.

Boss: Where's he going?

Bijou: Let's follow him. Maybe he knows the way out of here.

They follow him and a trail.

Boss: Why is he running from us? This isn't like him.

Now at a tunnel opening.

Boss: Bijou wait! *grabs her* let's not continue.

Bijou: What are you talking about?

Boss: This could be a trap. You know how like back at...

Bijou: But if he were Blackout he'd attack right? And he's leaving a trail so it must be him.

Boss: But Hamtaro would never run from us. Even if...

Bijou: I've heard enough. You can stay and I'll go.

She continues on.

Boss: Ugh. Bijou.

He goes too. They go along a long path.

Bijou: I see light!

They reach a dead end with what they think is Hamtaro looking at the wall.

Boss: It's a dead end.

Bijou: Oh well. We can go back right?

Blackout: I don't think you'll be leaving.

He turns around to see Blackout in front of them.

Bijou: Blackout?!

Boss: You again!?

Blackout: Thought you were expecting someone else?

Boss: What do you want?

Blackout: Just wanted to test you. To see how much you know about your friends.

Boss: What?

Blackout: You know the flowers, the key, and the trail of mix I left for you two? I wanted you to think it was your little friend Hamtaro.

Bijou: You mean...those things were from you?

Boss: But why?

Blackout: Well...I...it doesn't matter.

Boss: You trying to say that you like...

Blackout: Enough! The girl is coming with me! And that's final!

Boss: I won't let you take her!

Blackout: You're making it like you have a choice.

He snaps his paws and a gate opens. Then something huge comes out. It's a cat. With a strange BA collar on it.

MSU: Normal House Cat

Level: 100.

Type: Feline

Bijou: It's not a boss at least.

Boss: But aren't house cats like only level 1?

Blackout: This little kitty we stole is just another innocent we BA members like to take for our use. Even the weakest can grow into big monsters.

Bijou: How cruel of you!

Boss: You're gonna get it now!

Blackout: You'll have to catch me first! Ha ha ha ha!

He disappears.

Boss: Drat! *the cat approaches, and leaps for Bijou* Bijou look out!

He knocks her out of the way. He takes damage from the blow of the cat.

Bijou: Boss!

Boss: I'm okay. Really. I...*gets scratched by the cat* Owwww!

Bijou: No! Boss!

He gets tossed around.

Bijou: Boss. Why must this happen to you? Why do you have to suffer because of me?

Boss: What are...you talking about? I take....this kind of pain for...lunch.

Bijou: I should of listened to you. You knew that that wasn't Hamtaro. You know him more than I do. You two were great friends.

Boss: What's this have to do with you? *he's still being beaten*

Bijou: I know that he cares about me a lot. Just like you do. And I thought he was doing those things because...um...

Boss: I understand. But don't take it bad to yourself. It's not your fault. You believed what you thought was true. It's not your fault you got us in this dangerous situation. I just wished I could be here to protect you always.

Bijou: Thank you Boss.

She starts to glow. The cat stops attacking.

Bijou's C.R.A.P-C-: Secret Level Up! Now level 80! Holy Shield Mastered! Holy Healing Mastered! You can now summon Madeen!

She stops glowing. And she gains Five Star cards.

Boss: Bijou got a spirit of Iris?

The cat growls and pounces at Bijou.

Boss: Look out!

Bijou: *slashes Five Star cards at once* Madeen! Save this creature!

A glow appears and the cat stops. A giant creature with long pointy elf ears appears. He takes out his arrow, points at the cat, and launches the arrow down at it. The arrow shatters the collar, destroying it. Madeen disappears.

Bijou: Boss! You okay?

Boss: I am now. Must of been that Madeen guy you summoned

Bijou: But I saw it attack the cat. And speaking of which.

The cat wakes up. He goes over to B+B and they are shaking. He starts licking Bijou and Boss.

Boss: Well what'd ya know? He's thanking us.

Bijou: That blast to the collar must of destroyed the spell that controlled it.

Then a glow at the wall appears.

Boss: Hey look. A glowing light.

They go to it, the cat too. They disappear.

They reappear in a field of flowers. There's a crystal behind them.

Crystal: I am Madeen. A spirit of Iris.

Boss: You look like someone I know. You look like that one guy from a video game.

The cat goes next to Madeen.

Madeen: You have saved my cat Navi. He is my most close friend.

Boss: Now I know I've heard that name before.

Bijou: So am I the one for you?

Madeen: Yes. Although you were to see me for my power, I made an acceptation. My cat was in danger in being part of the BA forever. But you showed great heart and promise to save him, so I've given you my power early.

Bijou: Thank you.

Madeen: Now that 4 spirits are found, I'm sure the BA will be after the others soon.

B+B: They'll be after you guys?

Madeen: Yes. They seem to have the technology to capture and use the spirits to their use. Your friends must get them before the BA does.

Boss: But what can we do?

Madeen: You shall stay here until you are needed. When it comes to that time I shall teleport you there myself. For now, you can rest and train here. You will be safe here from the detection of the BA.

If they do manage to come, which is unlikely, I will deal with them. And Navi will too. And which of course, he can help train you. Understand? *they nod* Good. I shall be watching you.

The cat jumps down and Madeen disappears.

Boss: I know I heard the name Navi before.

Later on B+B are watching the sunset.

Bijou: What a beautiful sunset. I've never seen one this beautiful before. Especially in a game.

Boss: I know...... (I think I should tell her now. Let's hope I don't get interrupted.)

Bijou: You know? I was thinking. Maybe you should tell me about what you were trying to tell me.

Boss: What? *all nervous* what do you mean?

Bijou: I know you are trying to say something to me? You've always wanted to talk to me alone. But you never got to say it because something either happens or I have to do something. And I think I know what it is.

Boss: *just looks at her* Yes. It's true. Ever since I layed my little beady eyes at you. Well...I thought my life would change forever. I would no longer be in depression that I have furlong had since my parents were killed. For you see. I really care about you and......I just wanted to say....I really...really....I love you.

Bijou: Boss...

Boss: I know it's a shock but I wanted to tell you but...I just didn't have the courage to tell you. I thought you'd be mad or not care. I was just worried, that's all.

Bijou: You didn't have to worry. I wouldn't of been mad or wouldn't care. I'm not the ham who would do that you know.

Boss: I was also worried you'd just like Hamtaro better.

Bijou: You shouldn't worry; I like you both and everyone a lot. But as far as who I love well I'm not sure. But don't take it out on Hamtaro, you know he'd never hurt any of us.

Boss: I guess.

Bijou: All you have to do was just talk. That's all.

Boss: But I need to know? Do you...um...like me too?

Bijou: Of course. And I guess that...I love you too. But I'm still not sure but-

They slowly but surely kiss. The cat is watching them.

Beautiful huh? I wonder where the next spirit will be? Find out next time.
