Chapter 2: Maxwell's Not-So-Smart Move

????: I can bring your beloved Sandy back but only if you kill the Ham-Hams!

Maxwell: What?! I would never hurt my friends!

????: Well, you got to make a choice, Sandy or the Ham-Hams?

Maxwell: Forget it! I would never kill to get what I wish most, unlike you.

????: *Sigh* You leave me no choice, Maxwell……

(???? Points his staff at Maxwell)

Maxwell: *Clutches his head* ARRRRHHHHH!! What is happening to me?!

(Maxwell goes unconscious while a Dark Circle symbol appears on his forehead; he slowly opens his eyes to reveal they are blood red)

Maxwell: Then again……..what good are friends when you got a lover? I agree to your terms, master.

????: Very good. You'll need this.

(A book appears in mid-air and floats down onto Maxwell's paws)

Maxwell: What's this?

????: This is a magical book, it has the power to trap people inside it's pages!

Maxwell: But I thought I was going to kill them.

????: Change of plan, my minion. I want you to trap your forma friends inside that book.

Maxwell: As you wish master...

(Maxwell exits ???? room. Somewhere down the corridor Morph is walking up towards him)

Morph: Hey, Bookworm!

Maxwell: The name is "Maxwell", NOT "bookworm"!

Morph: Whatever you say, Bookworm……..

(Maxwell raises his paw and points it at Morph. Morph freezes in his tracks)

Morph: Hey! What the…….?!

(Morph's body shoots up towards the ceiling)

Morph: Aaaaarrrhhhh!!

(Morph hits the ceiling and gets knocked unconscious as his body falls back to the floor)

Maxwell: Next time you call me bookworm again I'll kill you.

(Maxwell steps over Morph's unconscious body and walks down the corridor)

Shadow: Hey, Maxwell! Got a minute?

Maxwell: Hm?

Shadow: I know your plan and I got a plan of my own……

(Elsewhere: Hamtaro is sliding down the drainpipe, shoots out of the bottom and lands on Brandy)

Brandy: *Yawn*

(Hamtaro slides off Brandy and runs off towards the clubhouse)

Hamtaro: Hi Hams!

Ham-Hams: Hi Hamtaro!

Boss: Hamtaro's here. So the only one who hasn't got here yet is Maxwell

Dexter: He's probably picking flowers for Sandy's grave

Maxwell: *enters* Greetings Ham-Hams

Ham-Hams: Hi Maxwell!

Maxwell: While searching around the book store today i found this intresting book......

Ham-Hams: *Groan*

Maxwell: This is a special book........

Bijou: Special? Vhat is it about, Maxwell?

Maxwell: *Laughs evilly as he opens the book*

Howdy: He must have one of my joke books.

(The book opens. inside there is a picture of a cow)

Boss: *Reading the book* "and so Mary Moo Cow lived happily ever after......."

Maxwell: Oops...wrong book. Wait here a minute.........*Runs out*

Hamtaro: Heke?

(Maxwell runs back in with another book)

Maxwell: MWAHAHAHAHHA! *opens the book*

(The book opens revealing a portal)

Ham-Hams: AARHHHHH!!

(All the Ham-Hams get sucked in. Maxwell closes the book)
