Hamtaro Fan Fiction ❯ Love & Breeding ❯ Chapter 9
Dexter and Pashmina were snuggling together. Both of course were very happy. "You know, I really couldn't wait til tomorrow for this, I hope you're not mad at me." said Pashmina.
"No, not at all." said Dexter. "I'm glad you decided to show up."
"Aw, well now it's time for me to work my magic on you."
Pashmina had Dexter lay on his back, but before Pashmina could mount him, Hannah was right there in her sights. "Hello Hannah." she said with a slightly bitter tone to her expression.
"Catch you at a bad time?" Hannah asked.
"Oh no, we were just about to have sex."
"Good, because I was wondering if you'll share him with me?"
Dexter shot up, "Say heke-"
Pashmina shoved him back on his back. "I got this." she told her mate. "Hannah, don't you have someons else to do at this hour, like Mr. Sandman?"
"No." Hannah answered.
"Well leave."
"I came here to mate with Dexter."
"Sorry, but that my job, not yours."
"Well, share him with me."
"No way."
"Then you can't have him without a fight."
"Come and get some then."
Both girls ran towards each other , but Dexter stopped this event before they even made contact. "Obviously you two can't deal with this." he said.
"Stay out of this Dexter," Hannah and Pashmina said, "this is between me and her."
"Enough of this. Pashmina, sit down. Hannah, you come with me."
"But Dexter..." Pashmina whined.
"Sit... down."
"But-"
"I won't repeat myself again."
"O-kay."
Pashmina took a seat, then Dexter took Hannah's paw and walked her outside. I sure hope you know what you're doing. she thought. Once they were outside, Dexter let Hannah go, only to be hugged by her. "Oh Dexter, I knew you still loved me." she said.
I better do this gently, so she doesn't take it the wrong way. Dexter thought. But even being gentle won't do, so I might as well be straight up with her.
"Dexter, are you all right? No wait, you're probably thinking about how you'll take me and where, right?"
Dexter finally spoke. "Hannah..."
"Yes Dexter?"
"I'll be honest with you, Hannah. You shouldn't have come here and acted like this.
Unbeknownst to them, Pashmina was watching right out the window. "Why not, you love me still?" asked Hannah.
"You're right, but not the way you think." answered Dexter.
"So you have that secret love for me?"
"I.... One word describes you right now, Hannah."
"Anxious? Pretty? Gutsy? What is it?"
"Naive."
"That's not right."
"Hannah.... I'll set it up like this. My love for you is like... Bijou's love for Boss."
"Bijou's love for Boss, wait she doesn't--....Oh."
"I do love you Hannah, but as a friend and nothing more. That is how I will stay."
"But..."
"There's a line in a song that you should remember right now: 'Don't love where love won't love you. Find love where love will always need you.' You're a great girl, Hannah, but I'm not going to leave Pashmina for you. I thought Howdy would've told that by now..."
He did.....
"Understand Hannah, that we're still friends and that's how we will stay."
"I see."
"Well, you have a good night, don't cry over spilled milk like this."
"Fine..." Hannah saw Pashmina in the window. "But is it okay if you would just kiss me good-bye then?"
"I guess it couldn't hurt."
Dexter walked over and pecked Hannah's cheek, then walked back inside as he waved good eve to Hannah. Hannah simply waved as she watched him go, then went her seperate way as tears began to well up in her eyes. Pashmina walked back over to where Dexter had her "take a time out" and began to reflect on things. You know, in a way that was actually sad, she thought, but in another way.... it serves her right. Pashmina had a smile on her face.

Meanwile at the clubhouse, Ruby went to see her friend. "Hey Roll, I got some mackleberries if you're hungry." she said. Then she dropped all of the nuts she held, Roll was gone. "HA-MI-NA!!!!!"
Hamina came rolling through the room. "Ruby, what's wrong?" she asked.
"Roll, she's not here."
"She's gone?"
"Yeah, she's not here."
"Let's search the rest of the clubhouse."
"Yeah."
The two girls left the room and did a quick sweep of the place, but Roll was nowhere to be found. "This is bad, Roll's not here." said Hamina.
"Man, what's wrong with her, she can't leave now, we're so close to having a successful plan." said Ruby.
"You girls mind filling me in on things?"
Ruby and Hamina turn to see Jam standing right at the door. "Where's Roll at?" Jam asked.
"She's gone, Jam, I'm sorry." Ruby answered hanging her head down.
"We searched everywhere and couldn't find her." said Hamina.
"Did you girls check the evacuation tunnels?" asked Jam.
"What evacuation tunnels?" Hamina and Ruby asked.
"Figured."
Howdy was walking along in the night, saddened by all that has happened to him. Poor Hannah, I hope she hasn't had a nervous breakdown by now. he thought. I guess no one wants me now.... Looks like I'm in the same boat as Roll, unwanted by the ones we care about. Maybe I'm better off like this.... Wait, if Roll's been rejected, then I will go to her rescue. I know she'll apreciate me. And thus, Howdy went to find Roll. Meanwhile, Jam and the girls searched the tunnels to find Roll, but with no luck. "I didn't see her." said Ruby.
"Me neither." said Hamina. "I give up, these tunnels go on for what seems like ever, I'm done with these things."
"Let's get back, she probably is in the room now."
"Good idea."
Jam was outside of the tunnels, even thought he searched the other tunnels, he still had no luck. "Man, I guess this is all my fault. I knew something bad was bound to happen." he said to himself. "I sure hope Roll's not in any danger. I can't even find a clue on where she went..."
Suddenly it hit him, Roll's scent, right across the nose. Roll's recptive odor, this will do it.... the red Ra's ham thought. But if I can smell it, other guys can too. C'mon Jam, it's time to go find Roll... and fast. Get to her before she really get into trouble, shake the booty!
Roll walked along, saddened and with a high oestrus pitch. I should've seen it all these years, Jam never had such feelings for me. He never did and he said it himself. she thought sadly. I guess he doesn't love me after all...
"Roll, is that you?"
Roll turned to see Howdy and ran to him with open arms. "Howdy!"
Howdy wrapped his arms around Roll, "Roll, you shouldn't be out here in your state. You should be at the clubhouse." he said.
"Speak for yourself." said Roll.
"I came out here to clear my head."
"Howdy, you know how to apreciate a girl, will you be good to me?"
"Sure, as long as you do the same."
"Thank you, Howdy."
"I guess we've both been rejected. It's okay, I'll take care of you."
"Take me already, I don't care where."
"Easy Roll, only fools rush into something like this. Let's have a chat."
Howdy took Roll to a big shady tree and the two sat there and looked at the moon. "You like me, don't you Howdy?" Roll asked.
"Very much so." answered Howdy. "Do you like me?"
"Of course, you're a sweetie. Your comedy is bad, but you have other strong points. I also take back what I said about you too."
"It's okay, I forgive you."
"You'll love me for me, right?"
"Of course I do."
There was a sudden rustle in the bushes. Howdy stood in front of Roll as they waited for what was causing it, which revealed Jam. "Oh Jam, it's just you. I actually thought we had something to worry about." Howdy said.
"I must thank you for finding Roll, Howdy. I was really getting worried." Jam said.
"You were?"
"Of course." Jam went over to Roll. "Roll, I have a gift for you."
"I don't want it." said Roll. "You don't care about me at all."
"That's not true at all, that's not even why I left."
"Then why did you leave?" asked Howdy.
"I was angry at myself... and while I was away, I got Roll the perfect gift. Just so you know Roll, I feel for you."
Jam removed his backpack and pulled out his gift. Howdy was wowed at what Jam got her. "That's... a really beautiful flower." he said.
"Of course it is, it's the rarest flower this world has ever birthed... a rainbow rose."
Roll's eyes lit up when she saw Jam's gift for her. "Jam..." was all she could say.
Howdy walked away. "You're lucky Jam, to have a girl like her." he said. "I don't have anyone that loves me."
"Hannah loves you, Howdy." Jam said. "She's just confused about it, like I was about Roll."
"Her heart goes to Dexter, not me."
"Give her time Howdy, girls take love differently than we fellas do."
"Whatever, I'll leave you two alone." and off Howdy walked.
"Roll, can you forgive a confused ham?"
"I can." Roll answered as her arms were wrapped around Jam.
With a schmubby wubby and a rainbow rose, two Ra hams made up. Despite all that they have been through together, they oddly enough remained true to each other. Roll looked into Jam's brown eyes, "Make love to me, Jam." she cooed.
Jam picked her up and walked away with her in his arms. "Not time yet, Roll." he answered.
Roll hiffed her rose. "How long do I have to suffer like this? haven't I waited long enough?"
"Ye-yo, Roll. I know you're tired, go to sleep, I got ya'." Holding the rainbow rose, Roll drifted off to sleep. I promise you Roll, your pain will leave you soon. Jam thought as he carried her up into the tree. Come sunrise, you shall suffer no further.
And that's all for that chap peeps, but prepare yourselves. Next chap, you are about to see the most romantic breeding scene that I have ever written. Tune in next time.
