Something for the readers: Okay, a lot of readers didn't expect that coming (and you know who you are) from a Hamtaro story, but hey... what can ya' say? Moving on, I'm going to post this next part and get back to uploading the "Race Wars" story in the Mario section and finish up on "Love battles on the floor". Speaking of that one, the poles are coming along great with that story and I can start writing the first part with the hams battling for Bijou. Anyway, after this, say your piece just like before, 'cause it's nice to hear from my audience.

And now, on with the show.

Hamtaro was saddened. He was sad that he wouldn't be able to speak for a while. He was sad because Boss was mad at him, tried to kill him, and to make matters worse, all of this made Bijou worry even more. It hurt him to see Bijou this way, because he never wanted to see any of his friends worry about him, especially Bijou. Boss hates me now. he thought. He doesn't want this to happen, everyone was shicked to hear that announcement. I knew they weren't ready for this... Hamtaro gave a sigh.

"Oh Hamtaro, I am so sorry for zees." Bijou told him, fighting back her tears. "Please don't be mad at me... I nevaire.... nevaire... nevaire..."

And Bijou burst into tears, Hamtaro placed his arm over her shoulder. "I'm not mad at you Bijou, it's not your fault." would have been what he would've told her if it weren't for his damaged chords, so instead he gave her a kiss.

Meanwhile, everyone else was eating seed salad and drinking Maxwell's Chestnut Brew. "I still think Boss was way out of line." said Cappy.

"Shut up," said Sandy, "like, don't even talk about it."

"Why not, it happened?"

"I said shut up!"

"Fine, you keep this bottled up and make yourself even more miserable, I'm getting this off my chest, so I can get on with the day."

"Cappy's right, we should do something about this." Dexter agreed.

"Boss still shouldn't have done that though." said Sandy.

"Can you blame him?" asked Panda.

"Like, yeah."

"Well Sandy, put yourself in Boss' place. What if you found out that Maxwell was going to be bred by some other girl ham that belonged to someone else and he introduced her to us, would you do the same thing as Boss?"

"Of course not."

"Sandy..." Maxwell trailed off.

Sandy looked at her beau, "I wouldn't, I would do smoething totally different."

"Like what?" asked Panda.

"I'd have Maxwell do me before he does the other girl."

Unbeknownst to them, Boss heard the whole thing. "I didn't know you cared, Sandy." Maxwell said with a blush.

"Of course Maxy," Sandy said, "you're soooo mine."

Boss thought to himself. Of course, If I breed with Bijou first, Hamtaro will never want her. She'll bear my hams and Hamtaro will never raise them and end up leaving Bijou. It's the perfect revenge, thanks for the idea Sandy, I'll owe you one. Now, how to get Bijou alone.... hmm.

Later that night, Bijou was sound asleep, but Hamtaro was wide awake. There was so much on his mind. What did I do to deserve this? I didn't do anything wrong, it was just bad timing, that's all. Bijou was so considerate about walking me home that day, that it lead to all of this. I can still remember exactly how it happened those many days ago...

Hamtaor began having his flashback to Sunday afternoon when the whole mess started. The two hams were at the window and ready to say adieu. "Thanks for walking me home Bijou, it was really nice of you." Hamtaro said.

"It was nozhing, really." Bijou chimed.

"But you shouldn't have."

"Eet's okay, I inseest."

"Oh well, I guess it's okay then."

"Let me walk you to your cage."

"Now Bijou-"

"Don't worry, Maria won't be home for hours, so I can hang out weeth you for a while, eef you want me here."

"I didn't say I didn't want you to hang out with me."

"Zhen eet's setteled."

Hamtaro gave up and decided to have some company. "So what do you think we'll be doing tomorrow?" he asked her.

"Dunno, what do you think?" Bijou asked

"No clue."

"Oh."

"Wants some hamster pellets?"

"Sure."

When the two got inside the cage, Bijou sat down as Hamtaro went to get some eatables for them. With that in paw, he walked over to his guest and the two ate. "Do you like it?" asked hamtaro.

"Oui, delicious." Bijou answered as she ate her food.

"I'm just glad that-"

"Hamtaro, I'm home--What the..."

Laura had walked in unheard and saw Bijou in the cage with Hamtaro. The cage was closed exactly how she had it before sh left, which confused her even more. "Hamtaro, you didn't tell me about having a friend over today." she said and looked at Bijou. "Oh, it's a girl. Hamtaro, you are something else, bringing girls over our home, and cute girls at that. We're going to have a long talk later."

Bijou blushed at Laura's remark, She said I'm cute. she thought.

"Now how did you get in this cage? It's locked you know... and there aren't any bite marks in it. Hmmm... Well, I can't tell Mom about this, she would never let me have this hamster as well as you, Hamtaro, so we'll just keep her a secret."

Laura opened the cage and took Bijou out carefully. She such a cute hamster. she thought. I wonder if you have a name... Bijou managed to squirm free of Laura's grasp and headed out the window. She made a nice leap, but Laura caught her and put her back in the cage with Hamtaro. "Great, now I have two hamsters to feed." Laura said, "No problem. Now Hamtaro, since I don't have an extra cage, you're going to have to share with her. So be nice, and I'll figure out what to do with you."

That evening, Laura was ready to go to bed when she noticed Bijou was near the closed window trying to open it. "Hey, get back here." she said and went to catch Bijou.

But the little french ham managed to scurry away from Laura's grasp. "Bada-bada-bada-bada-bada. I have to leave!" she cried. She was eventually cauth and placed back in the cage with Hamtaro. Laura closed the cage and placed a five pound weight in front of the door. "Now you aren't getting out again." she said, then she saw Bijou's sad expression. "Hey, don't cry. I know you may think that I'm mean, but I wouldn't be that way to you. But I can't have you running off, until I figure out what to do with you."

"Maria, please don't be mad at me." said a sad Bijou.

"Well, good night you guys, sleep well." and off Laura went to sleep.

Hamtaro gave Bijou a pat on the back, "Don't worry Bijou, it'll be okay." he said, trying to calm her down.

"What if I don't get to see Maria again?" Bijou said, fighting back her tears.

"Laura will think of something, besides, it's not like we're going anywhere for a while, so let's just make the best of it."

"But, Maria..."

"I promise you, you'll see Maria again."

"How do you know?"

"Because, I know Laura. She'll find a way to get a hold of Maria, you'll see."

It took a while to calm Bijou down, but Hamtaro had did it, and the white ham went to sleep. Hamtaro slept next to her, making sure she wouldn't be scared whenshe woke up. The next morning, Hamtaro woke up and saw Laura at her desk writing something. He then went over to Bijou, "Hey, wake up Bijou. It's morning." he said.

Bijou woke up, "Hamtaro? Oh yeah, Laura put me here." the french ham remembered what had happened to her.

"Look, Laura's doing something."

"What?"

"I don't know."

Laura turned to the hamsters, "Good, you two are awake," she began. "I want you to look at this."

Laura showed the hams a picture of Bijou with som writing under it. "Heke?" both hams asked.

"Do you like it? It's a flyer. It came to me in a dream that our guest may belong to someone else, Hamtaro, so I woke up early and made these flyers. I'll post these up everywhere I go and Maybe her owner might find one and give me a call." Laura looked at Bijou, "I know you probably miss your owner, I would miss Hamtaro if this would've happened to him. So I made these. I know your owner must really love you, so it'll only be a matter of time before he or she calls me about you. Well, I have to go, so you two take care, bye." She left the room, but soon came back. "Oh, Hamtaro," she said, "whenI get back home, I want to see two living hamsters in the cage and not one dead and one alive or twenty hamsters."

Hamtaro turned to Bijou, "See, I told you Laura would find a way to get a hold of Maria. Now you'll get to see her again."

"You're right." Bijou said happily, "Zhank you, Hamtaroo."

That afternoon, Laura and Maria opened the door and looked at the cage to see their hamsters sleeping peacefully together. "Awwww!" both girls said.

"They're so cute." Laura added.

"Oui, oui." Added Maria. "Bijou, wake upmy sweet Bijou."

"Heke? Ma-ri-a!" Bijou yelled.

"So that's her name." said Laura.

Laura opened the cage and Bijou jumped out and into her owner's hands. "Oh, Bijou, you're safe and sound. You are a real friend, Laura." Maria was very happy.

"No problem, Maria." said Laura, "Glad I could keep her for a while."

Then Hamtaro walked our of the still open cage. "Looks like Bijou is reunited with Maria again," he said to himself, "they look so happy."

"So zhees is your hamster, Laura?" asked Maria.

"Yes," Laura answered, "Hamtaro, say hi to Maria.

"Hamha."

Bijou jumped from Maria's hands and down to Hamtaro. "Thank you for being so good to me Hamtaro." she said greatfully.

"No problem, it was fun having you around-"

And Bijou kissed Hamtaro. Maria was very suprised at this behavior. "Looks like Bijou fancies Hamtaro, non?" she asked Laura.

"I think the feeling's mutual." answered Laura.

"Well, we better be going, see you later, Laura. Bye, Hamtaro."

and off they went.

Hamtaro went back into his cage and Laura closed it behind him, "I'm glad those two are back together again. Aren't you?" Laura asked.

"Uh huh?" Hamtaro answered.

"Well, I'm going to do my homework now."

Later that evening, however, Maria came back over and Hamtaro saw Bijou again. But this time the two girls put their hamster cages together and watched their hams play together. "Laura, you are right," Maria began, "Bijou and Hamtaro are so cute."

"Yeah, they make a cute couple." Laura agreed.

"No, ahey would make good partners."

"You're right."

"Laura, Bijou wanted to see Hamtaro, so I brought her over here."

"Really?"

"Oui, but I have another thing on mind."

"Go on."

"Since our hamsters make a great team, how about I let Bijou stay with you for the week? And on Friday, we can let zhem express zheir love?"

"Love? You mean, you want to-"

"Breed zhem, why not? Zhey made it clear zhat zhey wanted to be in love, so why not let it be?"

"Wow, now that you mention it, it would be nice to do. Okay, since they both want to, we'll breed them on Friday."

"He-keeeee?!" both hams were in shock.

Hamtaro returns to Tueasday night. Who'd have though our owners would want us to breed, though? his thoughts continued, I didn't see it coming, and neither did the rest of our friends. I guess I have to do it with Bijou now, but what will it cost me? My friendship with Boss? He's taking this very badly, which is what I feared. I knew Boss loved her, but to hear this, it must be killing him. If I had a way to change this week, i would use it, but I can't. He walked over to Bijou, who was still sound asleep. Friday... I hope I don't hurt her... Then, Hamtaro did the one thing he thought he would never do, he carefully, trying not to wake his guest, mounted Bijou. He stayed like that for three moments, then dismounted her and sighed. The next time I do that, it will be on Friday, and it will be for.... for.... us. Friday Bijou... Friday... Uki!
