chapter 8: round 1

everyone had lunch at the dining room, then want to the breifing room for the tournament

Joseph-the tournament will be of 4 parts and each victor will move on till there is only 2 competitors left. Let's begin

a machine pops out from the floor and and shows a randomizer on it

fate-what is that!

Joseph-this is a randomizer, it will select the competitors by random. No exceptions, begin the randomizer

the randomizer had everyones name on it, it was flashing on each of their names. It began to slow down

Joseph-the first battler is....

the randomizer lands on Span

Joseph-Span, Span is the first competitor of this tournament

Span-alright (now all it needs to do is hit Beowulf, and i'll defeat him)

Joseph-take Span out of the list and start again

the randomizer flashes again

Joseph-please note, once the second battler is chosen, both competitors must report to the arena at once

the randomizer slows down

Joseph-and the second battler is...

it lands on Blade

Joseph-Blade, Blade is the second battler

Blade-wow, i'm in the first match

Dagger-way to go Blade

Span-darn it

Joseph-both competitors follow me

Blade and Span followed Joseph to the arena. The rest were escorted to the bleachers

Dagger-i hope Blade wins

the two competitors arrived and took their positions

the other people were already seated, morph stood up

Morph- hey, where's the other people. Where's the crowd

Joseph-you got your crowd right there, we have special rights to hold tournaments like these in private

Morph-i wantad this to be a public battle. This sucks!

Joseph-are both competitors ready

Blade and Span-yes

Joseph-begin the battle

Blade and Span had begun to strike. Blade attacked first, but Span dodges, while they're battling chaos notices something

Chaos-hey dagger

Dagger-yes

Chaos-look at that hamster *points to neteru*

Dagger-what about him

Chaos-he seems kind

Dagger-and....

Chaos-but that rod is cursed, it should take over his body

Dagger-how come he isn't affected by the curse

Chaos-maybe because of that *points to what's around his body*

Dagger-maybe that's what's preventing it

Chaos-yeah, the legendary Dvapara-yuga

Blade takes an attack towards span, but Span misses and he gets damaged

Span-ow, ok Blade, i went easy on you

Blade-what?!

Span-but now i'm getting serious

then Span started to glow

Dagger-what's that light

Chaos-this isn't good

Span-prepare yourself Blade

Blade-what's going on, why does this seem familiar, unless....

it's about time i got another one up, chapter 8 ends round 1, the fic will be a lot longer than the others.
