Harry Potter - Series Fan Fiction ❯ Love/Hate Relationship ❯ Love/Hate Relationship ( Chapter 1 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
A/N: Since this is a totally A/U pairing, most of these sentences are totally A/U. It's how life would work if I wrote the books!

Some of the sentences are related, but on the whole each sentence stands on it's own.

If you read, please take the time to review. It would mean a lot.

I hope I have managed to capture their personalities well enough. This is my second claim for 1sentence and I had an absolute ball writing it.

5. Wrong - He felt like such an old pervert when he caught himself glancing at Hermione's legs when her skirt would ride up as she walked; it was wrong but a man would have to be blind not to take notice of her legs and the gentle sway of her hips.

6. Gentle - She was always so gentle as she cleaned his wounds that he wondered if Poppy would feel left out if he requested that Hermione tend to him when he was injured.

7. One - "One page down, two hundred ninety nine to go!" Hermione announced as she collapsed on his chest in a sweaty pile of limbs, silently thanking Ginny for giving her a fully animated copy of the Kama Sutra as a gag gift.

16. Need - The feelings that she held for him weren't as simple as wanting or desiring; sometimes she felt the need for him so deeply it burned.

17. Vision - "Sometimes, I really think you need to get your vision checked," he said after she told him he was beautiful.

18. Attention - All throughout her school years Hermione had battled for her professor's attention; now all she had to do was look at him just right and he gave her all of the attention that she would ever need.

19. Soul - "You know," Hermione began, "underneath that unkept hair and snarky sense of humor, you have a beautiful soul."

20. Picture - After a few sessions with Hermione and his new camera, he cancelled his subscription to PlayBoy.

21. Fool - "You are such a fool," she screamed at him, in between sobs; he never seemed to understand that her desire was for him only.

22. Mad - "I wouldn't be such a fool if you wouldn't drive me so bloody mad!" he screamed back, before slamming his lips onto hers in a bruising kiss that let her know exactly how mad she drove him.

23. Child - Severus snorted as he imagined any child that they would ever produced; greasy curly hair, a huge nose buried in a book, and the first Snape ever sorted into Gryffindor.

24. Now - "When I said come here, I meant now, not whenever you bloody well feel like it!" he shouted, even though it turned him on when she made him chase her.

25. Shadow - Ever since he had thrown her out he had watched her from afar, silently killing himself for turning the once vibrant know it all into a shadow of who she was before she fell for him.

26. Goodbye - Severus gave her one last kiss; he was never really good at goodbyes.

27. Hide - "Come out, come out, wherever you are," he called in a sing song manner, ignoring the snickering that was coming from underneath his desk; another fantasy would be fulfilled tonight.

28. Fortune - To most, walking along the streets of Hogsmead on the arm of the greasy git Severus Snape would be disgusting and unwanted, but to her it felt like she had won the greatest prize ever.

37.Time - "Hermione," he said with a sly grin, "do you think that Minerva still has possession of your time turner?"

38. Wash - After the first time he slept with her, Severus spent well over an hour in the bath scrubbing so hard he rubbed his skin raw; even then he still didn't feel clean.

39. Torn - Torn between showing his affections and showing his house loyalties, he treated Hermione like the 'awful' Gryffindor that his students thought she was.

40. History - Severus laughed as he thought of the saying 'history is doomed to repeat itself'; for the second time in his life a brilliant Gryffindor girl had captured him.

41. Power - "I know what electricity is, dear," he growled, "my father was a Muggle."

42. Bother - Looking back, he came to the conclusion that he detested Hermione's rabid hand waving in class because instead of a little bushy haired girl with amber eyes he would see a beauty with red hair and green eyes that still haunted him.

43. God - Severus was never a religious man thanks to his father, but he found himself thanking every deity known to man when Hermione returned his affections.

44. Wall - Severus watched Hermione and Ginny giggle madly as they walked into the Great Hall; oh, to be a fly on the wall in their dormitory.
