Harmony s at in the midst of the common room after explaining to her housemates the reasoning 
behind her hidden identity, they‟d pretty much accepted her apology and now only their irate 
professor remained; and Draco, but she could take care of him later on, she knew exactly how to 
handle the blond. 
“I‟m sorry professor, I had no idea that that would come out; hell, I didn‟t even know about it 
until just a few seconds before all the commotion started.†She looked up into his stone face and 
began to cry, knowing just why the usually dour man was so very upset. â€œPlease donâ€&Yuml ;t hate me, I 
know that you‟re also upset about the Potter thing, but I just didn‟t want you to†she couldn‟t 
finish her statement and crumbled to the ground in tears.  
“Get up.†She almost didn‟t hear the quiet order, but quickly did as she was bid; no sense in 
upsetting him anymore. â€œNo glamour.†he added. It took a bit of effort but she made sure that 
nothing obscured the way she truly was, not even her scars were hidden. Severus examined her 
intently, noticing her prominent, but not overly so cheekbones, her green eyes that were so much 
like Lilly‟s, her sharp nose, her proud chin, all the features that were so obviously his, slightly 
hidden, but only to those who didn‟t know to look, within what was an almost an exact mimicry 
of Lillian‟s face. “How?†was all he uttered as he stroked surprisingly soft fingers down her 
cheek in disbelief.  
“I received a  letter, she explained everything; How she‟d loved you, but feared your job, how 
Dumbledore set her up with James, how angry he was when I was a girl, the spell being placed, 
Voldemortâ€&Yum l;s true reason for wanting me captured, James giving me up to Pettigrew, all of it. I 
was going to come to you with the information tonight, because you should‟ve heard it from me 
first.†The potion‟s Master‟s shoulders seemed to slump just the slightest bit, and then she was 
embraced by him, by her father, and they both cried a bit. 
Snape pulled away after a while and looked once again at what he now knew was his love child 
with Lilly Evans and smiled a little, “We‟ll have to start sharing at least one meal a day together 
now. I wasn‟t  around before, but I will be now; I was never angry at you.†then he kissed her 
forehead and made his departure, telling her â€œRight now, though, you have an irate prince to 
placate.†Harmony stood,&nbs p;shell-shocked for a few seconds and then smiled. The next second she 
frowned, remembering she had yet to speak to Draco, and she‟d already avoided it for long 
enough. 
 
She walked up to his door and taking a deep breath she knocked. â€œGo away, you filthy traitor!†
was the muffled yell.  
„Well at least he isn’t mad.‟ she thought sarcastically. “Draco, come on. You have talk to me 
eventually.†she called softly.  
“No, I donâ&euro ;Ÿt! Leave, go laugh it up with your stinky lions.†was the childish reply. Okay, he was 
sulking; not a problem, all she had to do was force him to listen just a little.  
“Alohamora.&aci rc;€ she whispered and then opened the newly unlocked door to find the boy she 
wished to speak with practically curled up in Blaise‟s lap, tear tracks marring his beautiful skin. 
“Don‟t be sad, it‟ll make you age faster.†she cooed stroking his cheek.  
“Don‟t!â& euro; he cried, shaking her off. â€œWhy are you here still?&a circ;€ He choked out, finally looking at 
her.  
&acir c;€œI‟m sorry I lied to you by not telling you. I was going to…&n bsp;but I was just so afraid.†he stared,

silently, as if to ask „of what?‟ “I was afraid that you‟d hate me, treat me the way you did 
tonight.†The pain resurfaced and she had to wrap her arms around herself to avoid the shudder 
that tried to arise, but she finished what she‟d come to say. â€œLook at me with hate again. I 
couldn‟t- can&acir c;€Ÿt- bear to see that look towards me.†
Seeing that there was no immediate problem between their friends, Blaise and Pansy slipped 
quietly out of the room and left Harmony and Draco to talk it out. “I guess I owe you an apology, 
too.†was the last thing they heard as they exited.  
“For what, I  hurt you!†Harmony was sincerely surprised.  
“I didn&a circ;€Ÿt trust you to explain yourself.†
“W ell,†Harmony started, “I hope now that you do know that this is me, you won‟t change your 
opinion. I really like you&n bsp;Draco.†She blushed and looked down as she finished her statement. 
He lifted her chin so that they were eye to eye, “I really like you too, Harmony. Why do you 
think I was so devastated?†
“Because you&aci rc;€Ÿre a drama queen.†she  joked, just seconds before their lips crashed together in 
their first, but definitely not last, kiss.  
“You owe me chocolate, lot‟s of it.†He muttered between kisses and she just laughed and kissed 
his sweet lips once again, grateful that not everything was going to hell in a handbasket.
