RECAP:
Seras gave Walter a smile, silently thanking him for not asking too many questions. She followed his retreating back through the manor to her door which he opened for her. Seras stepped past Walter, entering her room and turning to hand Walter her bag, saying "Thanks Walter, the rest of the blood supply is in
here with my dirty clothes as well."

Walter took the heavy bag from Seras and gave a quick bow, pulling the door closed behind him as he left. Seras looked around her room, thinking that even though she had only been gone maybe a week she had changed so much in those few days. She now had a mate and a master, she could now fly, and she was slowly overcoming the idea of consuming blood. She walked over to her bed, letting herself fall on top of the mattress and letting out a content sigh as she felt herself bounce up and then back down. She decided she would have a small nap while she waited for Alucard. She curled up, missing the feel of his body pressed against her own, but soon she drifted off to sleep her
small snores filling the room.

Chapter thirteen: Breaking the Bonds

Alucard appeared in the small jail cell, his calm and collected self in place. He walked over to the dark corner where he could see Integra’s form. He gave a small bow and asked
“You called master?”

Integra leaned into the light, strain on her face as she said
“Alucard, I think I am finally ready.”

Alucard gave a sarcastic laugh as he asked
“Ready for what master?”

Integra gave a growl, showing her irritation at having to say what she knew Alucard already knew. She said in a stiff voice
“For eternal life, Alucard. I am sick of sitting here and rotting away because her majesty’s men have made a simple mistake.”

Alucard’s deep laughter filled the cell as he watched Integra stand and walk over to him. She stepped up against him, wrapping her arms around his neck and
tilting her head to the side as she said in a husky voice
“Do it.”

Alucard’s face broke into a large smile. He knew if he had waited long enough Integra would slowly start to crack and then she would finally lose it. He said in a calm, sarcastic voice
“As you command, Master.”

He felt his fangs grow long as he bent over Integra’s virgin neck. He bit down on it gently and then more viciously as a picture of Seras popped into his head,
the vision of her face as they had mated. The idea of finally being free of Integra’s childish and humanly ways appealed to him more than ever before now. He could taste her sweet Hellsing blood. It was what he
had been craving all these years and he had finally succeeded in getting exactly what he had wanted, a taste of Hellsing blood. It tasted as freedom should,
coppery and tart.

He smiled over his teeth when he heard Integra say
“That is enough, Alucard, you must leave some. I will not become a ghoul!”

Alucard whispered in Integra’s mind
“I never said I would make you like me.”

Integra replied in a angry voice
“Yes you did Alucard!”

Alucard mentally laughed as he asked
“Oh did I little Hellsing? Funny, I can’t seem to remember saying that.”

Integra growled as she said
“Stop this instant Alucard!”

Alucard’s deep laughter sounded through Integra’s head. He wanted her to struggle and pay for her ordering him around all these years. He looked deeper into her thoughts and felt disgust when he was met with a burning jealousy for Seras. He saw a scene replay over and over in his head of the night he had
changed Seras.

Alucard was walking up the path and stopped when Integra stepped out in front of him, demanding to know what had taken so long. Her eyes had drifted to the
small form of Seras cradled in Alucard’s arms and she had said
“I’ll have someone take care of her.”

Alucard had simply replied
“No, I want to you to have her transferred to the Hellsing Organization.”

He had known then it had angered his master and wondered if he had felt the feelings he now had back then. But the rage of jealousy coming from inside
Integra at that moment was very powerful. He decided to punish her some more as he sent visions of him and Seras mating into her thoughts. Alucard heard Integra gasp when she saw the visions sent into her mind. He
felt her grow tense as she said
“SO it seems you have had this planned the whole time, Alucard. You and that little slut!”

Alucard was angered by what she had said and bit down as far as his fangs would permit him. He heard her laugh as the last few drops of her blood were drained. Before she died, she asked one thing
“Have I angered you, Alucard?”

Alucard gave a disgusted laugh as he dropped her cold body to the floor. He then walked over to the bench she had been sitting on when he had left that one night for the so called training of Seras. He’d had no idea then that things would work out so but he had finally won his freedom and a mate. Alucard sighed as
he thought of how much fun it would be to order the ghoulish Integra around but he knew that he would have to get back to the Hellsing manor as soon as he could. He knew that Seras would be in danger once Walter found out that not only had Alucard killed Integra but that Seras was now Alucard’s new mate.

Alucard had always had his suspicions that Walter had kept more than an eye on Seras during her stay with the Hellsing organization. He also knew that Seras had no idea of Walter’s intentions, she just thought him to be a nice man. But Alucard knew differently. Soon Walter would need to have an offspring so that he could make yet another angel of death to serve the Hellsing Organization. Thought of an offspring made Alucard wonder if the myth was true. The myth where a vampire could bare children. But before he could think further into the thought he heard the body on the cold stone floor start to move.

Alucard laughed loudly as he watched a gray skinned Integra lift herself from the floor, her eyes dull. He pulled his gun from his jacket, aiming it slowly until
it was aimed for her heart. He laughed once again as he wondered if it would matter since Integra seemed to have no heart. He felt his finger squeeze on the
trigger, the pressure of the small metal switch making him shiver in pleasure. He gave a contented sigh as he heard the loud
“Bang!”

He saw the bullet in slow motion, wanting to enjoy this moment for as long as he could. He watched as it made contact with Integra’s chest, automatically exploding and turning her whole being into dust. He couldn’t help himself; he stood and walked over to the pile of dust, kicking it across the room in anger and disgust. He felt as if a whole life’s worth of burden had been lifted from his shoulders, and it had been. He was now free to leave this retched place with his
mate and no one could stop him.
