A/N: Alright sorry for the long wait I re-wrote this chapter about 5 or 6 times and finally this came out…enjoy! :)

Integra hated change of any kind. In fact, she had never even let Walter alter her room which had remained the same since her childhood. But now so many things had indeed changed. Her relative, distant or not, was now living and working with her against the vampire race and not only that, but now Integra held in her hands a journal she'd never seen in her entire life; she didn't even know such a thing existed. The platinum blond glanced over at her father's portrait. She wondered if he knew about this or not. Chances were he would've said something to Walter and the butler didn't know a thing.

The Hellsing heiress cracked open the book's cover once again and began looking over its contents for the second time. Perhaps there was a chance she had missed something… No, there was probably nothing she had missed at all. This meant, yet again, that things would be modified in her life. The girl had only lived in the Hellsing estate for merely two weeks and yet she seemed to figure out how to worm her way into Alucard's mind so much that he was acting strangely.

“Walter, would you mind taking a look at this please?” Integra questioned while snapping the diary shut and setting it on the hard surface of her desk.

“No problem sir, but do you need some sort of medicine for your headache?” Walter swiftly made his way to her desk and grabbed the book, giving it one glance and looked right back to his employer.

Integra gave him a strange look, sure he wasn't trying to be rude but did it really show on her face that she was having a migraine? “That wouuld be nice, thank you. And you can read the journal when you have the time, Walter. I am going to give it another shot,” she replied after a small pause.

Walter gave the young woman a small nod and gave her a bow before leaving the leader to her duties once again while he went to get several things. And tell his assistant to look for any information on Ol' Jack.

Seras whipped the perspiration from her brow with the back of her hand after shooting down yet another ghoul, this had gone on for about an hour or so and she was becoming very tired. How many kids did this priest kill?

The police girl looked around for the vicar, noting that he disappeared at some point during the fight and it seemed that either Alucard didn't care too much or didn't realize he was gone. Though Seras figured it was the former, considering Alucard wasn't that irresponsible. Suddenly Alucard turned around and aimed his gun right at her, he was grinning like usual. Seras didn't have time to think before a shot rang out through the forest and there was a strange sound behind her and then dust whipped past her ashes thoroughly coated her hair.

“Jesus Christ! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!” Seras held a hand over her thumping heart and glared at the midian.

“What, you wanted me to let that disgusting creature eat you? You could've said something beforehand and I wouldn't have minded in the least, police girl,” Alucard replied with a chuckle and turned around again to finish off whatever ghoul was coming from that direction.

Seras had the urge to raise her gun as well and aim it at his head, she knew if she shot it that his head would come back…but he probably wouldn't be too happy that his comrade shot him in the first place. Even with that last thought Seras raised her gun and aimed it right for the back of his skull but kept her finger off the trigger. After about a second or two the woman lowered her sites again and realized that there weren't any more ghouls attacking her.

Seras quirked an elegant blond brow at her surroundings, what in the hell was going on now? Perhaps the Wild Geese were finally able to get through that troublesome barricade and were approaching her and Alucard, all the while destroying ghouls hence the lack of action.

The midian in red also lowered his guns and glanced around in mild irritation. Where the hell was that walking piece of shit vampire? He hated when this happened. Sometimes the vampire he was hunting became too cowardly and ran off like a moron assuming Alucard couldn't catch them. Alucard put his guns back in their holsters for the time being. He turned around while doing so and looked at the only human in the forest.

“It looks like he fled this area; we'll have to look for him somewhere else. I can still smell his stench not too far off…even through this fog.” Alucard strode right past Seras and walked with a fast pace in the direction behind her.

Seras blinked and realized that the vampire was a very fast walker indeed. She turned around so fast she felt dizzy, but chased after the tall man despite her stomach's protests.

“Wait up, sir!” Seras yelled out into the forest with annoyance. `Bloody hell, he's always in such a hurry!' she thought while nearly hitting her head on a low tree branch and wondering why Alucard hadn't even ducked when he came across the same branch. She figured that he probably could go through just about anything he wanted…Seras smiled at the thought but felt a bit envious of the man. Then she thought about him always going through her mirror which made the smile on her face disappear completely. However, a blush spread across her cheeks.

In the tree branches that overlooked the area where Alucard and that woman used to be the mysterious vampire sat with a surprised look on his face; he hadn't really expected the woman to be so powerful. And it was a coincidence that it was the same woman he first saw Troy and that little girl with just a few weeks before. Her features were perfect, blond hair, crystal blue eyes, and the perfect skin tone. She would be great if he could get his hands on her and take her for his own. That way if he ever ran into them again they might leave him alone because he would be with the perfect Arian woman!

The man chuckled darkly and brushed some of his golden brown bangs away from his now glowing eyes. Now it seemed his life would become at least a little normal when he had a wife and even a son.

He jumped down from the tall branches and landed gracefully on the mossy ground below. The vampire glanced around the area just in case Alucard was still close by and after reassuring himself that the other and much older vampire was indeed gone he left through his own dark portal.

“Troy vill need something to eat,” he said to no one in particular before disappearing from site.

The Hellsing heiress set the journal down gently on the hard surface of her desk. Just then there was knock on the door and Integra told the person to come in, Walter appeared in the doorway with a piece of paper.

“Mr. Bernadette was able to get in contact with us about fifteen minutes ago; he was allowed entrance to the village. As far as I know he has just arrived in the Village of Cheddar. No sign of Alucard or Miss Victoria just yet.” Walter paused for a moment and looked at his employer with a worried expression. “Sir, have you found anything relevant in that diary?”

“Yes, I have but I don't really know what it means just yet. I need you to do another thing for me Walter. Please try and dig up information on Jack the Ripper, Queen Victoria, and Sir John Williams. In this journal it is said that there was a young child brought to Sir John Williams by a woman who claimed she was raped by this `Jonathan Adams'. After he raped the young lady several times he told her who he was and what he wanted to be. He even went as far as to tell this young lady that he was related to Sir John Williams…but whatever happened to this girl afterwards remains unknown. The pages are ripped out. So I need you to see if you can find these pages, though wait until Seras has returned before speaking of anything of any of this,” Integra finished while pinching the bridge of her nose and closing her eyes.

“By the way, were you able to get any aspirin?” Integra opened her eyes again to look over at her butler expectantly.

“Ah, thanks for reminding me. I'll get right on that before I'll take the book off your hands for the evening.” Walter grinned at the young female leader and left the office for what felt like the umpteenth time that night.

The aged man smiled sweetly before turning around and walking out of her large office. The platinum blond looked over at her father's portrait again and frowned. `Did you know about this too? I suppose not or you've said something…right?' For some reason she was feeling really uneasy tonight, perhaps it had something to do with the moon tonight. The white orb didn't look unusual but it had a strange reddish glow to it this evening.

The Polish midian opened the creaky wooden door to the old house he kept Troy locked up in. Somehow he'd managed to get a bite for the young man. Though, he couldn't really remember how on earth he got the meal, but that didn't matter right now.

The house didn't have any lights on but the windows were open, the moonlight shining through and covering most of the wooden floor boards…who had opened the windows though? Perhaps the boy broke free of his confinements and opened the blinds? Well, that didn't make much sense to him. Why would the boy take the time to open the blinds?

Just as the vampire was about to head down the spiral stair case he heard a boyish voice with a German accent come from the kitchen. “Look at vhat ve haf here! Marek! You're back! Vell, not technically back but at least I can see you now. How long hast it been since I last saw you strapped to that metal operating table?” A young boy with long black furry cat ears appeared in the door way, he was wearing a Hitler's youth uniform.

Schrödinger…” Marek whispered and dropped the bag he'd been holding, his eyes reverted back to a dark green.

“Vell, it's been long enough…but I didn't come here to talk about memories vith you. The Major ist looking for you, he doesn't think you'll be able to get rid of that wampire, but he doesn't vant you to interfere either. Since ve all know I enjoy shows like this I von't say a vord about you…for now anyvay.” Schrödinger giggled after he finished his last sentence, and one of his ears twitched. He walked into the light coming from the moon, his magenta eyes sparkling dangerously.

“You vouldn't happen to be hiding anything from me, riiiight? Because if you vere, I vould love to—” The catboy was suddenly interrupted as he was shoved against the wall; Marek's pale hand was around his thin throat. Schrödinger grinned devilishly at the angry vampire. Well, he didn't know how, but he'd hit a nerve…not that it really mattered to him.

“Schrödinger it's been so long since I was able to play with you…” Marek's other persona suddenly showed it's `face' and Marek's eyes returned to a deep crimson color.

“Another time perhaps.” Schrödinger chuckled as his body began to disappear and go slightly through the wall until there was nothing left but his eyes and smile which lingered for a few moments before following the rest of his body.

Though Schrödinger's echoed through the house, “auf wiedersehen for now, we'll play some other time Marek!”

Marek glowered at the spot where the cat boy used to be and sank to his knees where he began to cry once again. He really hoped that the boy would keep his word and not let the Major know where he was. Despite being a loyal son-like person to the Doc he still made loop holes in everything even to the point where he would almost disobey the Major…not that it bothered the crazed man in any real way, the cat boy always came crawling back despite his huge ego.

Time would tell if the little Nazi boy would help make a move in arresting him.

Rip van Winkle walked up to the Hellsing estate's main doors, she was whistling a favorite song of hers as she continued up the marble steps, the moonlight always made her giddy. Just as she was about to knock on the door Walter opened one of the large doors and gave a her a startled look, her deep blue eyes went wide and she lowered her raised fist.

“Walter, I came here to talk vith Sir Integra about my findings,” Rip said politely and laced her long fingers behind her back.

“Ah yes, right this way Miss Winkle.” Walter stepped aside and let the young woman come inside. “She is upstairs as usual, just go ahead and knock while I go inform Larry we're out of aspirin.”

“Okay, good luck vith that then.” Rip smiled and walked away trying to get rid of the awkward feeling she was having.

The journey up the staircase wasn't really that fun and there wasn't anyone around to chit-chat with so she just continued (once again) up the stairs singing lightly in German. Once she was at the big wooden doors of Integra's office she raised her hand again to knock but hesitated when she thought Integra might open the door, but then realized that that was just ridiculous because if Integra needed something she would call one of her maids or butlers with the phone within her office.

Rip pulled the silver framed glasses higher on her nose and knocked on the door loudly. There was silence for a few moments then came an almost annoyed sounding voice saying “Come in.” Rip obeyed.

“Walter you really don't have to knock every time, I'm not my father,” Integra said without looking up from the book she currently had her nose buried in. Her tone sounded very amused and Rip could see the rare delight in her eyes.

The brunette cleared her throat and began speaking. “Sir Integra, I've come to share my findings vith you.”

Once she heard the feminine voice Integra looked up at once and wanted to slap herself for not thinking about other people coming in. “Why didn't Walter tell me you were here?”

“He said that he vas going to tell Larry that you're out of aspirin.” Rip tried to quote the Angel of Death, and almost even tried to imitate his voice, which got her a strange look from her employer.

“Alright Agent Winkle, come closer and tell me what you've got.” Integra set the book inside one of her drawers behind her desk.

The brunette made her way to Sir Integra while pulling out several pieces of information. “Vell, there vasn't much to study other than the specimen left on scene, und it didn't match any of the DNA ve haf on our computers. The only thing I can say is the stuff ve already know, but his age, blood type und other important details are unknown. However, I did do some digging on the missing constables…”

“Oh? I am indebted to you.” Integra glanced over the medical reports done on the victim.

“I vas able to find that those men vere indeed rookies, und they vere reported missing two veeks beforehand und after this last incident vere found dead. How this vas missed by the regular police ist beyond me, I don't even know how Miss Victoria or myself missed this.” Rip fixed her glasses once again.

“Good work Agent Winkle. If you do find anything else out of this man then do not hesitate to call me.” Integra fixed the papers on her desk and handed them over to her scientist.

“Thank you sir, expect to hear from me soon,” Rip said and waited for the blond to release her for the night.

“You are free to leave Agent Winkle.” Integra waved her hand in dismissing manner. Rip saluted and left the woman to her work and probably that book she'd been holding.

A man in red walked up the beaten path to an abandoned church, followed by a girl with a large gun in her hands. The girl was breathing heavily and trying her best to give the man an angry look, though he wasn't looking at her.

“Damn it…Alucard…I told you to wait up,” she managed to get out while hunching over and finally knelt down to catch her breath.

“That's too bad, but you're the one who is going inside the church.” Alucard looked down at her with a grin, and folded his arms over his chest.

“Why me?! What? You can't go inside holy places or something?” Seras tried to stand but stopped when she felt her legs wobble a little bit.

“Please. I can go in there anytime I want, but that doesn't mean I like churches. Plus you still need to show your worth to Hellsing. The Freak is in there right now,” Alucard said as if the argument would be dropped right then, and it was.

Seras reluctantly rose to her unstable legs and glared at the vampire, but decided arguing with him would get her nowhere. Alucard wasn't going to budge and he definitely wasn't going to follow her in there. Plus he somehow knew that this battle was easy enough to win. The petite blond walked through the graveyard with a little confidence. She came to a stop at the entrance and opened the doors slowly, using her cop-type knowledge to assess the situation.

After the door was opened she ducked in quickly and hid behind one of the pews. She glanced around the church for any signs of the priest and didn't see a soul walking around. The moonlight shined in through the colored windows of the old stone church making everything appear almost eerie with all the strange colors coasting over the red rug and wooden pews. She could smell the scented candles that were burning at the end of the long isle, though she wasn't sure how many there were.

Seras was confident enough too come out of her hiding place and walk down the isle, a few candles were lit but that was it, which was the only sign that he'd been here. Once she got to the large stone cross at the end of the isle Seras turned around to look out the wooden door and noticed that Alucard had disappeared from where he had once been standing. She started to panic; she tried to swallow the lump in her throat and gripped her gun tightly.

Suddenly a few gunshots rang out and Seras smiled, he must've found some ghouls. She knew that smiling probably was wrong since he was currently killing, but at least that didn't mean he had abandoned her in this strange town.

(Outside of the Church)

Alucard was distracted by the vicar finally making an appearance with many ghouls following him, though that was never a problem. However, Seras would have to prove her worth some other time.

“Where is your little human friend?!” The priest signaled for his ghouls to cease their fire on the vampire after hitting him a few times.

Alucard made no signs that he would reply to the trash and he didn't, he just pulled out his weaponry and started his own assault. Just as he was starting to enjoy himself he heard a piercing scream coming from the church and there was no doubt in his mind that it wasn't Seras. The nosferatu narrowed his eyes at the Freak but continued to smile nonetheless, she could handle herself.

“I forgot to mention vampire,” the vicar paused, waiting for the other man's attention, “I saw another priest go into the church a few minutes after myself, looks like he was looking for me but I spotted him first! Looked Catholic,” the man shouted out and then laughed.

Alucard again didn't say a word but did glance over his shoulder. Right as he looked he saw Seras slam into the wooden doors with her outfit covered in blood. She quickly fell to the ground with three knives sticking out of her back, once she hit the ground she tried to crawl away. Father Anderson was walking out of the door and gaining on her.

There was a decision he would have to make right now, and it was either he give up on Seras and let her die or kill this bastard as quickly as possible and save the human girl. Alucard's eyes blazed furiously at his irresponsibility. He turned around to face the vicar again and swiftly shot him in the forehead, all the ghouls fell away as did their master.

The vampire in red dissipated…

(Back to Seras)

She felt all her limbs failing her, since she was hit in the back she was sure that he must've sliced something vital but she wouldn't give up so easily. Seras continued to crawl away slowly. Sure he was just behind her, teasing her but she wasn't about to just ask him to leave her alone. That would be a waste of time and a waste of her life as well.

“Ae little girl such as yerself shouldn't be runnin' around at night a' by her lonesome. Dinnae worry thoo, Ah'll finish ye aff quickly,” Anderson said in a dangerous whisper.

Somewhere along the way he had ruined her gun. He'd also come from out nowhere and backstabbed her. Father Anderson wasn't going to leave her alone because, once you walk with a vampire that was it. He'd already made that quite clear…though this time she wasn't sure she was going to make it.

Seras tasted that metallic flavor of her blood filling her mouth; the red liquid spilling over her bottom lip and down her chin.

Finally she didn't have the strength to move her arms anymore and she couldn't inch away anymore.

The Wild Geese were now making their way through the thick foliage of the forest. The ghouls were still coming out but at a much slower rate than usual. So the more they headed into the forest the more they could kill, and they were told by Walter's assistant that there was some sort of church at the end of this forest.

“I feel like a fucking bug killer. Captain it's almost 2 A.M., how much longer do you think this shit will go on for?” one of the men yelled out irritably. The man whipped some sweat from his forehead, which only made him angrier though he wasn't annoyed with his captain.

“I `ave non idea, but be glad we're getting paid for zis. Keep your eyes peeled for anyzing,” Pip replied tiredly, his men weren't the only ones exhausted.

The fact that there was no sign of the girl or Alucard was a little disconcerting, but he couldn't do anything about that for now except to keep looking. Pip reached up one gloved hand up and rubbed his good eye. As he was doing that they suddenly heard gunshots.

“I think Alucard is at the church already!” one of the men said while they all picked up their pace to a run.

“No shit Sherlock!” another replied.

`Shit, somezing tells me zat zere is somezing wrong `ere,' Pip thought with a frown, he hadn't really seen the girl fight before and he couldn't be sure what kind of strength she had, if any at all especially without a gun. The gun fire was so far away though; he hoped he could make it there in time.

There was blood all around her body now and she felt nothing really at all, just a bit cold. There was some sort of gunfire going on around her and Alucard was able to pick her up and get her away from the crazed priest. Though, for some reason, that was the last thing Seras ever thought he would do, but he did it. And he even seemed a little angry. He didn't say anything to her as he set her down near a tree and he didn't pull out any of the blades…though that could be explained.

`He's probably angry with me for not realizing that Anderson was in there in the first place…how could I mess up so badly?' Seras finally let the hot tears roll down her cheeks and she lay in the soil on her stomach, the moist earth clinging to her face.

Seras opened her eyes to see that yet another priest…no, it was a woman in priest's clothing was walking up from behind Father Anderson, then a nun with a large katana followed suit. “Alucard…” Seras gurgled up more blood as she tried to talk, but she didn't want to just sit here and watch him be slaughtered by the weird Catholics.

The women didn't seem to come there to attack Alucard at all and Anderson stopped the battle once he knew they were there, though he kept his swords raised and his eyes trained on the vampire. Alucard didn't drop his guard either.

The brunette in priest's clothing whispered something in Anderson's ear and he lowered his weapons.

Seras strained to hear the conversation Anderson was now having with his partner. “Ah hae tae widraw from this fight...Until next time vampire,” was the only thing she could hear from the fight. There was something else he said but she couldn't be sure what the hell it was.

`That's all he had to say after doing this to me?!' Seras wanted to scream but settled for resting there scowling at the vampire hunter.

Alucard chuckled at the Catholic and turned to look at Seras once Anderson and his pupils had left the area.

The midian made his way over to her and knelt down on the damp ground. “Police girl…I know you know what is happening to your body, you've got about five minutes or so left to live, maybe less…What do you want to do?” Alucard knew the girl was a virgin from the way she tasted, there was no denying that.

Seras blinked slowly and tried her best to smile at the vampire; she wished she could reach out for the vampire and shake his hand while saying, `why yes, thank you Mr. Vampire man.' At least she could grin up at him.

Alucard chuckled darkly at her and grabbed each blade and pulled them out quickly, he would need to do this fast. If he did the ritual without pulling out the blessed blades it would make her transformation fail completely considering her body would be too weak to take on such a weapon right after being born into the un-life. Though taking the swords out was dangerous as well considering she would loose a lot more blood, maybe even die.

The strong vampire managed to turn her body over without too much difficulty and lowered his mouth to her flesh. He sank his elongated fangs into her slender neck and began the ritual of making a new vampire, a brand new Draculina.

Seras wanted to shiver when she felt the fangs go in. She again couldn't feel the pain of it, but she could feel the pleasure of having a man kiss (or that's what it felt like) at her neck. A moan escaped her slightly parted mouth as she felt the life quickly fading from her body, but it felt as if another life, another soul was entering her mind and body. It was the most curious thing she'd ever felt in her entire life…

The last thing she remembered feeling was Alucard smiling as he drank her blood, and the way his tongue moved against her skin.

The ghouls were now all gone, but there was still something that had to be done.

Pip could see the church and the moon dangling behind it; he could see everything clearly…including the blood smeared against the large doors of the church. Then he noticed Alucard just off to the left of the church half of his body covered in shadows though his eyes were a fiery red and glowing in the darkness. His teeth shimmered in the gloomy shade as well…it reminded Pip of that character from Alice in Wonderland which had the weird smile. Alucard was holding something but Pip couldn't really make out what it was.

As he got closer he could now see that it was Seras wrapped in some sort of long white coat, which looked rather old and somewhat worn, but it still held some sort of value to it.

“Alucard, sir! What `appened to Seras?” Pip finally caught up to the tall vampire and stopped just in front of him. Alucard held a calm expression and he had a bit of color to his face. The cool expression Alucard held was somewhat unnerving…

“You'll see when we get back. The mission is completed, human, you can go back now.” Alucard grinned at Pip as if he hadn't a care in the world. He slowly started to fade into the shadows holding Seras just a little closer to his body.

“Zat didn't really answer my question,” Pip whispered to the air after Alucard was gone. “Alright men, we `ead back to ze van.” Pip turned around and was met by a bunch of groans and moans coming from all his men, clearly worn out by this long and tedious mission.

“I know it seems like we came up `ere for nothin' but zere's not a single zing I can do right now…lets `ead `ome, get drunk, get laid and go to sleep!” After that last part was said there were cheers all around and the Wild Geese took a few moments to regain some strength before leaving the area. They'd already given the clean up crew the directions to the church hidden in the ominous forest.

After the return to the mansion Alucard stopped by Seras room to set her in her soft over-sized blue bed, the vampire came to a halt once he hit the bed with his legs. Upon further thought Alucard decided that it wouldn't be safe to keep her in this room on account of the sun. With that last thought the vampire walked towards the darker parts of her room and faded into the shadows, when he walked back out of the shaded area he was in his stone chambers.

Alucard stood there for a moment, thinking about what to do next, Walter wouldn't have another coffin for the woman just yet and it would probably take a day to get one ready. Sleeping in his coffin wouldn't hurt her too badly for just a night, though he hated the fact that he was about to share his domain with anyone. Alucard strode over to his bed and pushed the lid of his coffin with his boot until it finally slid off, it hit the ground with a loud thud and Alucard switched his crimson gaze back to the person he held in his arms. She was sleeping like a baby for now…

The vampire gently set Seras on the black silky bedding. The insides of the coffin almost welcomed Seras as if it wanted to swallow her whole. Gloomy tendrils started to steep out of the bed and others slowly wrapped around her body, like it was rubbing her skin slowly. Alucard grinned and walked around the coffin to grab the heavy lid, setting the lid back in place didn't take much effort…and he knew the girl would be in for one hell of a surprise.

Once Alucard made sure the police girl wasn't making any racket he decided he needed his own rest. Integra would have to wait until tomorrow…or if Walter decided to venture down into the lower dungeons and only then would Alucard report to his master. Alucard walked over to his favorite chair and sat down gently. He removed his hat and glasses, setting them on the end table to his left. The midian leaned back in the royal chair and let his head rest against the red cushion on the back of the seat. Soon enough Alucard fell into a deep slumber and began to dream of those old days under the strict eyes of Van Hellsing….

A/N: I had to have my catboy in there! Bet you guys weren't expecting Anderson to randomly show up, huh? Oh, and it only seemed like he left in an uncharacteristic way because you got the view from Seras rather than Alucard, like I said he'd said more to the vampire but she couldn't hear it. Hopefully you guys liked it.
