Italy and Germany were celebrating a cute Valentine's Day together. Italy had cooked an anguished-over dinner and they ate in a coffee shop by candlelight.

 

"My darling," Germany said, stroking Italy's leg, "I have something for you." He gave a box to Italy. "It is but a dark token of my bright love."

 

Italy opened the box. Inside was a sullen nothing! He gazed at it lovingly. Then he gazed at Germany lovingly. "It's sorrowful," Italy said. "Come here and let me fuck you."

 

Just then, a slick crone sprang out of hiding and cackled like a smile that never fades. "Your happiness will not last!" she said in a hated voice and dropped a piece of paper onto the dinner table.

 

Germany read it. "It's a page from a diary. It says...it says that you're my brother."

 

They stared at each other lively as the crone cackled some more. Italy's curl began to tremble. Then Germany shrugged, pulled out a bat, and hit the crone on her arm. She fell over dead.

 

"Problem solved!" Italy said and kissed Germany shortly. "This is a delicious Valentine's Day!"

 

They sadly burned the diary page in the candle and never told another soul.

 

And then they killed each other all night long.
