Shinigami versus Hanyou: the Story

Author's Notes: Please excuse the slight Ooc-ness; this is only my second fanfic. I'm at episode 127 in Bleach, so there will almost definitely be spoilers. Thanks, and make sure to R&R!

 

Parings: Inu/Kag, Mir/San, Ichi/Ruki

 

Summary:When Ichigo, Rukia and Renji are suddenly transported to Feudal Japan, how will the Inu crew react?

 

Chapter One

“Just leave me alone!” Kagome screeched, running at top speed toward the well, tears flying off her cheeks. You can guess who she was talking to; the ever-clueless hanyou, Inuyasha. He had gone off with Kikyou the night before and, as usual, Kagome was furious with him. So now she's on her way back to her era, with the hanyou on her heels.

 

InuYasha didn't seem to even hear the miko's words. He obviously did, with his superior hearing, but they didn't faze him in the least. Until Kagome's next sentence. “Osuwari!”

 

He did a face plant then, tasting the familiar dirt in his mouth. The couple seconds that he was down was all Kagome needed to reach the clearing, and notice the Bleach trio standing on guard by the Well.

 

She stopped in her tracks, sending more dirt flying backwards to InuYasha. “Who the hell are you?” she managed to choke out, holding in a laugh at both Ichigo and Renji's hair.

 

“I was about to ask you the same thing.” The orange-haired Shinigami replied, Zangetsu finally drawn. Then he remembered that he was in uniform. “And how the fuck can you see us?”

 

“I'm Kagome.” She responded, completely forgetting her previous anger. Even when InuYasha stepped up beside her she didn't notice, until Renji shouted, “Howl, Zabimaru!”

 

At that she tumbled backwards, into the arms of InuYasha. He jumped, dodging a blow from Zabimaru, and set Kagome down safely in a tree. “I don't know who the hell you are,” he shouted to Renji, “but leave Kagome the fuck alone! She didn't do anything, so why'd you attack her?”

 

Renji just responded with a flick of his wrist, sending the blade howling at the couple once more. Scooping Kagome in his arms once again, InuYasha leaped to another tree, the ankle of his Robe catching on Zabimaru. It tore within seconds, freeing our favourite hanyou from the clutches of Renji.

 

“That's it!” he shouted, setting Kagome down on the highest branch. “Get ready to DIE!”

 

And with that he unsheathed the Tessiaga, the fang gleaming in the morning sun. He jumped, his famous hanyou abilities keeping his suspended in the air. “Kaze no Kizu!” he bellowed, swinging the sword expertly.

 

A blast of yellow wind shot out, heading straight toward Ichigo, Renji and Rukia!
