The night before everyone's flight for Florida. Some of the group was out wondering the streets of Satan City. The group consisted of Bra, Pan, Marron, Goten, Trunks, Kacanotta, Fiona, Alanis, and Reaper. The evening was warm and humid like the everglades. The air was so thick it was almost palpable. And it was perfect for a July night.
"So who is coming tomorrow" Marron asked.
"Well I think its going to be Gokou, Vegeta, Chi Chi, Bulma, 18, Krillian, Yamcha, Gohan, Videl, and us" Kacanotta said. "I think" He said again
"So anyone have any ideas on where to go"? Bra asked.
"I know of this cafe down by the corner of Gazna and Nizarut called Fionalantra" Kacanotta said.
"Yeah I remember you took me there a few months ago, its really philosophical and plays blues and stuff like that" Alanis said.
"How far away is it"? Goten asked.
"A few blocks away" Kacanotta said pointing west.
"Great, let's go" Trunks said. They all then proceeded to walk. When the arrived on the corner of Gazna and Nizarut There was only a little run down wooden shack.
"You can't be serious" Bra said looking at it with a cocked eyebrow.
"Just wait" Kacanotta said walking up to the door and knocked twice.
The door opened a crack and someone looked out. "Shoraske de Scota" The man said in an unknown language.
"Fede scota hada plaske ter kufu tis me mor a ro" Kacanotta said in the same unknown language.
"Mada ro" The man replied.
"Mada shey ke ske lansho" Kacanotta said.
The door shut then opened slowly. And the man welcomed them in. They walked down a spiral staircase.
"What was that up there"? Goten asked walking down right behind Kacanotta.
"Secret language, it ensures the privacy of this cafe" Kacanotta said.
"Ok then" Goten said as he continued to walk.
When they reached the bottom they entered a room lit with candlelit tables a bar and a stage with a single microphone. There were 15 other people there. Nine were sitting at the tables; three were sitting at the bar, two bartenders, and one person on stage. The place reeked of marijuana. The stage reminded them of what stand-up comics use but there was no comedy. Just a man on stage doing a slow rap. They walked in only to hear him say the end of it.
"It's just to bad to see that you don't have the time to let me finish this rhyme, so I'm stuck here sitting on my porch, looking my best, with a gun in my hand wearing bulletproof vest, singing my my my how the time does fly, when you know your going to die by the end of the night" The man said stepping of stage.
"I'm getting a strange vibe from this place" Bra said looking around.
"It's okay I know these people really well" Kacanotta said assuring.
The bartender then walked out from behind the bar to greet Kacanotta and the group.
"Yo brother K what's up"? The bartender asked hugging Kacanotta.
"Nothing much man, what's up with you" Kacanotta said.
"Nothing much here man, just running the Lantra and I see you brought Alanis back" The bartender said. "How have you been Alanis, haven't seen you in a month or two" He said.
"I've been good" She said giving him a hug.
"So what's up"? The bartender said.
"Well I brought a few friends here looking to show them a good time" Kacanotta said.
"No problem man they are all welcome here" He said. "Just have a seat at the bar and we will take care of ya and get ya some drinks" he said.
"Thanks man" Kacanotta said.
After a few hours and drinks later they were all sitting at the tables listening to the people go up on stage talk about life through philosophy and poetry. Even though they could have gone up and talked they didn't. They were to busy talking to one another. Not about anything in particular but just talking about anything that came up. Ranging from what they were going to do in Florida to past battles they took part in.
"Shit we got to go home" Goten said looking at his watch.
"Why, what time is it"? Trunks asked.
"Like two in the morning" Goten said getting up.
Alright thanks for the hospitality" Kacanotta said waving goodbye to the bartender.
"No problem" He said waving goodbye.
As they were walking towards the stairs they were interrupted.
"WAIT" the women on stage yelled.
They turned around to see a woman of about 24 who had long black hair, brown eyes, had black denim pants, black leather gloves, and black skin tight tank top and looked almost like a demonic angel.
"Before you leave I must warn you death shall soon descend down upon this world and upon you don't let your guard down" The lady said pointing at them.
"Ok then" Reaper said as he continued to walk. The group followed.
Of all the listening they did they night. They should have listened to her
